Soul Vibrator
4. Mister Tanaka

In my class, there was a friend whose face was like Japanese. His skin was white and his eyes were narrow, and he was a native of Brebes. His name is Eka. But I call it TEKOP, which stands for its long name.

If you smile, you will see a dimple on your cheek. He told me that when he was a baby he was fat. And this dimple is evidence that in his childhood fat.

" Said my mother, I was a fat kid. So there are dimples when I smile" she told me.

I think she is the youngest student in my class. He also told me that when he was in Kindergarten, he could read well. Not inferior to a child who just entered Primary School. She likes to come to the front of the class and read her Mother Teacher's writings. Seeing this, his parents also moved TEKOP to Elementary School (SD). And it turns out that in SD he is not behind compared to others even though he is 2 years under his friends. TEKOP even includes outstanding students. The catch is good and the English is good too.

I also acknowledge his intelligence.

Mister Tanaka

It was a call given by Mr. Tatang, our English Teacher. And this is what makes some of us call him Mister Tanaka. Mr. Tatang called him Mister Tanaka because as I have told you that TEKOP is similar to the Japanese. So it is not wrong if Mr. Tatang calls him "Mister Tanaka".

One day TEKOP asked me to play at his house.

" Rif, play to my house yuk!", take TEKOP to me.

" Tomorrow, will you? ", answer me.

" Ok", he said again.

Then we went home to each other.

In the evening, after studying, Syarif asked his mother for permission to play to his friend, TEKOP.

" Mommy, I'm home late tomorrow" I said to my mother.

" What's the matter?" asked my mother.

" I want to play with my friend who is at home near the school" I replied.

" Liver - heart, yes! ", answered my mother.

" Yes, Mum. Thanku".

" same - same".

Tomorrow morning at school

" Rif, how? So, are you going to play at my house? ", ask me TEKOP.

" So dong! ", answer.

When we got home from school, we walked to TEKOP. From the school where we studied, to the south towards Karang Birahi Stadium, the Football Stadium is proud of the citizens of Brebes. In the first fork before reaching the Stadium, turn left, which is Dr. Street. Be Faithful. After passing SMA 1, there is a mushola on the left. We turn left, right in front of Mushola. TEKOP House is in front of Mushola. Not right in front of her, next to the house right in front of Mushola.

" Assalamualaikum", we said in unison when we got to his house.

" Wa 'alaikumus salaam", the voices of mothers from inside the house answered our greetings.

" Yes!", I replied.

We then went inside and found TEKOP's mother preparing food.

" Change clothes first keep asking Sharif to eat, Ka! ", his mother's orders TEKOP.

" Yes, Mom! ", ANSWER THE TEKOP.

Then TEKOP went into his room and not long after out of his room after changing his uniform.

" Rif, let's eat! ", ask ME TO TEKOP.

" Come on", I replied.

We ate together while watching music on MTV. TEKOP installed a satellite dish antenna in front of his house so we could watch MTV. At that time parabolic antennas were still an expensive item. Not many people put up a parabola. In my village there are only 2 people who put up a parabola. One is a police officer and the other is a doctor.

After being satisfied to play at TEKOP house, I decided to go home.

" COP, I've been. I want to go home", I said to TEKOP.

" Entar first. Permission first to my mother!", she replied to me .

" Mom, Sharif wants to go home. It was late afternoon" I said to his mother.

" Why are you going home?" asked his mother.

" Yes, Mum. Far away is my home", I replied.

" Yes, already. Next time play here! ", pinta his mother.

" Yes, Mum. God willing", I replied.

I then went home with TECOP delivered to Jl T-junction. Dr. Faithful - Jl. Veteran. Then walk home via jl. Veteran. I also stopped the elf car majors Ketanggungan not too far on foot.

Arriving at Bawang Klampok Market, I went down. Then continue the journey by taking the angkot. And thank God you got home safely at 5 p.m.

From the results I played to the TEKOP house, I learned that TEKOP was the third of three children. TEKOP is the youngest child. His first brother, a woman. An alumnus of our Junior High School and studied at UNDIP, Diponegoro University. While his second brother, a man, is also an alumni of our Junior High School and school at 1 Brebes High School. So they all enter the same Junior High. Hehehe.

His mother is an elementary school teacher and his father works at the Brebes District Government.
