Sorry, Ma!

Sorry, Ma!
Flashback 2

From day to day, Chia always gets a clash and tantrums from Hima when her father is not at home. All of that was recorded clearly in Tuti's mind. Once, he tried to report it directly to Arun, but Hima managed to foil his plan, and instead threatened the woman.

"Be careful, if you dare to open your mouth in front of Arun. I'll make sure tomorrow you won't be able to breathe again!"

Of course, Tuti did not dare to open his voice. Hima always sharpened her gaze if the two of their netra were to smudge each other. Moreover, when Arun is at home, Hima will always supervise the movement of the babysitter step.

"Absolutely, Ma!"

BUGH

Chia's cries and roars were ignored by Hima. His hand continued to swing a barrage of punches around the little girl's body.

Chia could only resignedly take a blow from her stepmother without being able to resist.

"Had Mama said, don't argue if you know!" yelled Hima with an annoyed face. A hard blow landed on Chia's cheek which was now six years old.

Hima's hard slap successfully made the little girl's body fall into the corner of the room.

"Huhuhuhu .. geez, Ma!"

Chia's cry of grief did not touch Hima's motherly side in the least. The woman again approached her stepdaughter, then pulled the small body forcefully.

"Here you!"

Hima dragged Chia's body brutally. His steps now approached the bathroom that was in the child's room.

"Mom, no!" prevent Tuti who at that time could only see the madness of Hima from a distance. Her crying was also no less bitter than Chia. How not? Tuti felt like he was the most useless human being, because he could do nothing. Tuti is barred from approaching because Hima threatens to kill Chia, if the woman dares to stand in her way.

"Here you!"

Hima lifted Chia's body furiously, then threw her on the bathroom floor. At times, Hima watered the child's body with water until Chia shivered with cold.

"Absolutely, Ma!"

With lips shaking and sobs remaining, Chia continued to beg for forgiveness. However, Hima did not seem to listen to the cry of pity from her stepdaughter.

"Before, if you dare touch Mama's makeup equipment again!" threaten the woman while pointing her index finger near Chia's face.

With a fearful facial expression, Chia nodded at the words of her stepmother whom she had always considered a biological mother.

After saying that, Hima left Chia in the bathroom.

"Darling!" he cried on the sidelines of the sobbing. Tuti hugged Chia's shivering body tightly. "Come, Ma'am help change her clothes, yeah."

Tuti quickly took the towel and removed all the wet clothes from Chia's body. He wrapped the towel, then carried Chia while coming out of the bathroom.

"Sir, why is Mama always mad at Chia?" ask the little girl to Tuti who is now combing her curly hair.

Rachia Arunika was born with curly hair. As time went on, his hair grew curly and now became a kribo. However, the crude kribo is not as smooth as the signs of kribo in general.

"Maybe Mama Chia again has a problem with her job, honey. That's why it's easy to get carried away by emotions," said Tuti, who is only an alibi. Without telling the boy that the woman they were talking about was not really his real mother.

"Actually Chia pingin really hugged and loved by Mama, like Mbak Tuti loved Chia," whined the little girl with a moody face. His two legs dangling on the chair became the purpose of his gaze. Both of his hands were busy twisting the ends of the clothes he was wearing.

Tuti who felt his heart slashed from hearing Chia's seemingly impossible hope would happen, could only hug the boy's fragile body.

"Prophey, dear."

That's the only sentence Tuti can say.

...FLASHBACK OFF...

Tuti ended the story while wiping away the remaining seepage of the funeral water that soaked his cheeks. He did not expect that the little hope of the girl could not be realized at all. Now death has taken his life which is even new as corn.

Erianiza was only able to sigh deeply. Both palms were also rubbing her cheeks that were wet from tears. The short story of Tuti as if successful brings it into the real setting. It was as if witnessing firsthand what the suffering of the little boy he often met in the park every afternoon.

While Rigid, he just scooped his face rough. Don't know what to say. As a state official, he could not accuse someone of committing a crime without having definitive proof. Regardless, Tuti's story can lead to the opinion that; it is likely that the perpetrator of Chia's murder was her stepmother. However, Tegar could not draw a conclusion that quickly.

"Hiks .. hiks .. since then, Bu Hima's rude attitude has become more and more so and I ...." Tuti's voice choked. The crying broke again.

Eri moved the seat next to Tuti, then gently rubbed the woman's shoulder.

"I can't take it anymore. When I wanted to report everything to Mr. Arun, that day Bu Hima slandered me. He told Mr. Arun that I had hit Chia so that his lips broke and shed a lot of blood. Though all of that was his own action," said Tuti continued his story.

"I have tried to defend myself, but Mrs Hima continues to cut my words so that Mr. Arun has not had time to listen to the real story. He told me that I was fired that day and told me to get out of their house." Tuti is increasingly intrigued when he remembers the drama of his work stop.

What she remembers most is Chia's lips were drenched in blood when her feet passed the doorway of the house which had been a place for sustenance.

At the time of the incident, Chia was no longer able to speak. The boy continued to cry in Arun's arms as he must have endured the tremendous pain from the wound on his lips.

Hearing that, Tegar immediately grabbed his phone and called someone's number.

"Can we meet?" ask someone across the line.

Erianiza and Tuti looked at each other, not knowing who exactly was the person who was talking to Tegar.
