Section 12

Midday

All the food was ready, immediately I served it at the dinner table, today's dish rice bath, complete with some other dishes. Everything is ready, just waiting for the owner to eat. Some drinks are ready.

Abdul Ro'uf has not seen his nose since entering the room, so I was free to take some kitchen without interruption.

Shortly the bell rang.

Teeetin... Teeetin...

I left my job, went to the door, maybe my employer came. Chequek! The one who came was not madam and her husband. But two girls. Outlandish. Who're they? I scrunched my forehead.

As if to know with my astonishment. They said hello and introduced themselves. It's a long name, so I don't remember it. Fortunately they were polite and kind, when I asked again. They answered slowly.

"Call me, Alina, and this is my sister, Noorma. And we are friends of your employer, Adeeba" he said kindly. I let them in, I said that my master would be home soon and I told them to sit in the living room.

I immediately went to the kitchen to prepare a cold drink, that was their request, before passing to the kitchen I had time to ask.

Before long Abdul Ro'uf came out and sat with them chatting and joking, looking very familiar from the way he spoke. A moment later my employer Adeeba and her husband came home. Light talk continued while enjoying the dish. Fortunately, I cooked a little more than usual, it would be embarrassing if the dish was lacking.

Because I didn't want to bother, I decided to throw the trash out of the apartment. Madam said, it's on the one floor on the left. I nodded in agreement.

After getting acquainted and chatting on the dam elevator. Only then did I know this woman named Surmi came from Kuningan west java. He has worked for a year and a half in the country's biggest oil producer. Her employer often travels abroad leaving her alone in the apartment. So fitting to meet me he was happy, seemed to meet a distant brother, he said.

Today, as usual, I did my morning routine. Prepare breakfast and kitchen without washing clothes. Because the work clothes belonging to Madam Adeeba and her husband and Abdul Ro'uf do not need to be washed at home, everything is sent to laundry. It was only Oomar's clothes and equipment that I washed at home. The reason is because Oomar began to be active and should not be left alone. Fear of falling, said madam.

All of this lightened my work. I had more time in the room with little Oomar.

Abdul Ro'uf now has a permanent job, finally. He left in the morning and came home in the evening. There was hardly any time at home, except for the weekend.

I also became calm, and free to be at home no need to worry anymore with the behavior of that person. Sometimes I also play to Surmi's place, on the second floor, while carrying a small Oomar with me. Even on Madam Adeeba's day off let me go with Surmi's company.

The happy days I felt, after some time tested with the work in the house of the madam Zainab who seemed endless and tested with the presence of Abdul Ro'uf the perverted man.

Thank goodness all the hard times have passed, now I just focus on work and hopefully when I go home my debt is paid off and I come back with safety.
