CHAPTER, 6

The clock shows at half-two in the evening, Alice hears someone entering Dona's room in slow steps. Curious, Alice leaves Dona's bed and circles around the table next to her. It just so happened that Dona's room was pitch black. I don't know why the lights in his room were turned off. Even if you want anything, Dona will certainly be in trouble. Plus he can't walk. Out of wonder and curiosity, Alice observed someone who was currently opening the door to Dona's room carefully.

Not just one, but two. In view of the shadow of her body, Alice knows that the person is Meliza and the other is a small child, Dhana.

"Ja-don't, s-sicki, Dhana," prevent Dona from trying to wake up from her sleep.

"Why not?! I'm gonna beat him up. You just complain to Deniz Daniswara. He won't believe it. I was her lover. Once Dhana complained about my cruelty to her. But what did Deniz do?! He slapped Dhana. She doesn't trust her son at all." Meliza's ejek made Alice growl and was eager to twist her neck. But he's holding it. Alice still wanted to see what the matter was.

"Melliza!" Deniz cried and immediately helped him.

"He's evil, Pa! He's gonna beat Dhana!!"

"Shut up!! Until when are you going to be rude to him, Dhana?! Meliza has generously taken care of our family! Why did you even harm him?! Is this the result of Dona educating you all this time?! Huh uh?! Into your room!" Deniz's snapping makes Dona angry and throws a glass at her desk. He did not accept his son in humiliation.

Karna does not want to make Dona and Dhana hurt her heart. Alice turned her into a human being and wanted to entertain them. Dona and Dhana are surprised to see the shadow of a woman suddenly in her room.

"You who? Is it the man, Meliza?!" Dhana and immediately protect his mother.

"No! I'm not his man, honey." Alice answered with tenderness. She closed the door to Dona's room and wanted to turn on the lights in her room so they could see her presence.

"Don't light it!!" Dhana Seru slowly.

"Why?" Alice asked, astonished.

"Oh, so? Alright. I'm not gonna turn on the light." Said Alice and immediately distanced her hand.

Alice approached Dhana and hugged her small body. Alice does not want Dhana to be disappointed because Deniz did not help her and instead defended Meliza.

"Who are you?" Ask Dona, stammering.

"I'm the one who threw the bad lady before Madame Dona. I'm Alice, the daughter of the Lord Steward. The person you've asked for help," she explained, causing Dona to panic and instantly keeping Dhana out of her arms.

"P-go! D-don't take care of our problems.  I-I don't want you to be crazy." Racau Dona with teary eyes.

"Hey, calm down, Miss Dona. I'll be fine. Shhtt ...,"

"Me-liza is very dangerous, she's the one who's done me no harm. He was also the one who always gave me medicine so I wouldn't be aware and looked like a madman. Go then! Hurry along!" Dona's command made Alice tremble and immediately clasped Dona's hand to calm down.

"Relax Miss Dona. Calm down .., Meliza won't be able to make me wretch." Alice said, rubbing Dona's face.

Not wanting to make them curious, Alice tells her life story. Dona and Dhana half-believed not to believe hearing her story. When Alice shows her snake form, Dona holds her, and Dhana, she laughs, her heart is relieved because from now on Alice will protect her.

"You're a good girl. I trust my son to you. Jaga Dhana's. If Deniz doesn't love him, take him. Think of him as your own son." Dona said when Alice had changed her shape to human.

"You're just there Madam ...,"

"Call Dona, Alice."

"Eh! You're not stuttering?!" Alice cried wonder.

"I can actually talk to Alice. I'm not crazy either. I was just pretending. That's all I did to keep Meliza from hurting Dhana. But since you're there, I'm calm. I could have died happy,"

"Died?! What do you mean Miss Dona?!"

"Mama?! Mama's gonna die?!"
