Ch. 22 Thieves

Green Orchid Village is the closest village to the Valley of Orchids. The condition of these villages is almost like a small town. From economic turnover to village management is done very well.

Even this village has a defense group consisting of earth warriors and cloud warriors. The four villages were led by a benevolent nobleman who had a very high level of knowledge, namely the white cloud swordsman.

Green Orchid Village is the first village that can be passed by everyone, because to enter the orchid plains only one main road is available.

Every kilometer there will be a guard post guarded by five to ten people. Hara et al. arrived at the first post, he then reported his needs and continued on his way.

The barrier wall was built to connect Mount Orchid to the hill in the Valley of Orchids.

At the end of a small road, Hara found two children running with bread. They were chased by some people carrying machetes and sticks.

“It looks like these kids need help” whispered hara in his heart while jumping down from the roof of a house.

The two children who had previously run then fell down because they saw Hara suddenly appear before them.

“Force us sir..” the cry of a child while kneeling holding Hara's leg. They thought Hara coming would catch the two children.

Not long ago came the two men who had been chasing the child. “Thank you young man, you have caught them” said one of them.

“They have often stolen bread from our store” replied another person.

“Why don't you let them go, they're just starving kids” Hara said.

“Don't you guys feel sorry for them?” tanyanya back.

“How much price of bread do they take?” Hara continued her question.

“Not much... only ten bronze” replied another. The two men did not dare to force Hara too much because they saw Hara who easily came down from the roof of the house, so they assumed Hara was a swordsman.

Hara then took out a piece of silver from her pouch. He gave it to both men. Without a second thought, the two immediately left Hara and the two children.

“What are you doing? Come wake up..” exclaimed Hara to the two children.

“Good sir...” The two got up but did not dare to look at Hara directly.

“Why did you steal?” ask Hara to the two children.

“Force us sir, we are orphans..” replied one of them.

“Where are you staying?” ask Hara again.

“We live on the outskirts of the village” he replied again.

“Take me there” exclaim Hara.

The two looked at each other, but eventually they went together to their residence.
