It's getting dark. It hasn't been two hours since Daniel and Alia went around. It's almost six o'clock. The orange spray that illuminated the bright afternoon also slowly dimmed.
"My feeling or is it getting more crowded now?" Alia asked, looking up at Daniel.
Daniel nodded. Some traders already turned on the lights, while the rides of the game began to be vibrant with bright colors.
"It's about to start, because it's getting more and more crowded." Daniel looked at his watch, then tightly grasped Alia's hand.
"What will begin?"
"The highlight of the show" Daniel answered briefly. Not intending to explain. He continued to take Alia walking towards somewhere.
"Daniel, look, there's someone selling something." Alia pointed one way, but Daniel kept taking her away. Allowing Alia to get more confused with his behavior.
"Sorry, but this place will be closed during the peak of the event. It will be opened again." An officer blocked their steps.
Daniel nodded politely, but had no intention of giving up. He took off Alia's hand and spoke to her. "Non't go anywhere. I'll talk for a minute."
Alia nodded despite not understanding why Daniel had brought her here. This is the place of the bianglala. This place, or you could say all other rides began to be vacated. No one looked disappointed or protested. They gathered in a place that had attracted Alia's attention. He tiptoed, though knew it wouldn't help much.
"This one is hard to tell."
Daniel who suddenly appeared beside him made Alia jump. It was only two steps from its original place, trying to see the source of the crowd more clearly.
"You're done? very fast," said Alia clumsy. He glanced at the officer who was talking to the operator of the bianglala.
Daniel nodded, he again pulled Alia's hand closer to the ring.
"Where are we going? Everyone gathered there" protested Alia, but couldn't hold back Daniel who kept pulling her.
"It would be better to see it from a high place. This bianglala is right in the middle." Daniel answered as he could.
"Actually, what do we want to see?"
Daniel did not answer. They're in front of the ring. The officer nodded lightly and let the two go up. Daniel told Alia to go up first, and she followed. As soon as the iron door that looked new and sturdy was closed, before long the ring began to move.
Alia looked down, not continuing to protest. From up here, everything looks shining. Colorful lights in the bianglala alone are beautiful. Below also looks more interesting. The bianglala suddenly stopped when they were at the top, though not at the top.
"Is the culprit broken?" alia asked a little panicked.
Daniel shakes. "No."
"Then?"
"I told you, it would be better to see it from above. It's a cool place, isn't it?" Daniel explained calmly.
Alia was silent for a moment and nodded. It must have been Daniel who had asked the officer earlier to speak with the operator. "So the officer banned visitors, right? How do you persuade him?"
"Can you guess?" Daniel smiled mysteriously.
"Money?" guess Alia.
Daniel did not respond again.
"This one power is indeed huge, yes," snorted Alia.
Slowly, Alia enjoyed her time. He looked down, though slightly horrified by the height of their current place. His attention was drawn to the masses that began to spread below. Many of them were holding glowing box objects in their hands.
"What's that?"
"What's cold?"
Alia turned her head, immediately taking off her arms that were embracing each other. Daniel must have been watching her since. "In your house it's colder than this."
Daniel was silent for a moment, then stood up slowly and moved to Alia's seat.
"Go back to your place. It's getting out of balance" Alia panicked.
"This is a new vehicle. Pretty sturdy. A little unbalanced will stay safe" Daniel explained.
He smiled a little. Daniel had always liked to pay attention to Alia's expression, including her current petty panic. Daniel took off his coat, attached it to Alia's shoulder and tidied it up. The woman's dress only closes up her elbows, allowing more coldness to be felt on the day leading up to tonight.
"Let's be cold." Alia refused, but Daniel did not let her move the suit from him.
"It's still warmer than the 'us' house, '" pressed Daniel with a meaningful look. He would not let Alia think like the first time they were about to walk this afternoon.
Alia smiling. "Thank you" he said gently before joining the suit to his body and looking back down.
Daniel rubbed his eyes, making sure that what he saw was real. He was stunned to see a reddish tinge on Alia's cheek. Daniel moved without full awareness. His hands had already grabbed Alia's shoulders while he used one more hand to turn her face back to him.
Daniel was barely aware that he was advancing his face, making their noses and foreheads touch. Alia's little lips became the center of her attention. The lips that often spread that smile look very tempting at this time. It's interesting for Daniel to try to feel it.
PATS!
The lights that suddenly go out make Daniel regain his sanity. Alia also blinked, not understanding what intimate situation was surrounding them at the moment.
Daniel moved his face away immediately, glaring in shock. What was he just thinking? How could he have thought of kissing Alia earlier? Daniel felt his face heat up. No. gabe. His entire body was very hot right now. He felt a great shame, hoping that Alia would not bring him up. Good thing for Daniel. The extinguished lights managed to resuscitate him from the crazy deeds he almost did.
"Why?" alia asked, puzzled by Daniel's reaction.
Danie squeezed her hair in frustration, though her face still seemed flat. Alia's plain and confused face even looked very sweet in her eyes. Daniel shook his head, thankful that Alia was too pure to think about the things in Daniel's head.
"Suddenly all the lights were turned off. There's an ap-WAH! Daniel, look!" Alia exclaimed and pointed down.
Daniel rewinds his body, trying not to get so close to Alia. While the woman was sitting upright, slightly alert by the slope of their current place.
"What is a lantern?" Alia noticed the small light that looked conspicuous below. The sun is perfectly drowned. While the merchants who turned on the lights in unison turned off all the lights. "Daniel! They're gonna fly a lantern!"
Daniel did not respond. From his position he could not look directly at Alia's face, but he was sure the woman was very excited. Unlike her who still keeps remembering the actions she almost did earlier.
I heard a countdown from down there. Alia's eyes were getting brighter. Count until the time is up. Some of the lanterns were flown. Not directly simultaneously, even though it has been calculated. They gave a distance of removing it, making the air filled with bright colors.
"From above we can see everything. There is also a part there. That too" Alia pointed in many directions. Keep babbling no matter if Daniel listens or not. "You're right. Better to see from high. Oh, something's moving in here."
Daniel only notices Alia, sometimes having to throw his face if he stares too long. Daniel always believed in his self-control. But being with Alia always makes him question his abilities, while he keeps other questions.
Why should Alia?
Daniel massaged his head, feeling that all this was getting weird for him.
"Daniel, have you ever heard of the bianglala myth?" Alia's question breaks Daniel's daydream. The woman smiled widely. "Say, if lovers express love to each other over the ring, their relationship will last until marriage. Cool, right?"
"What does this have to do with us?" Daniel frowned. I don't understand the context of this conversation.
"Let's try!" Alia was very enthusiastic about this idea.
The system in Daniel's head suddenly didn't work. "Huh?"
"Let's try" Alia repeated.
"But we're not a couple. No." Daniel refuses, but he hopes Alia will force him more at this time.
"Indeed. Because we are pretending. This one is also pretending. Don't be too serious." Alia flicked her hands casually, as if not caring about Daniel's opinion.
"I love you, Daniel." Alia smiled gently, a moment later laughing loudly. "Who would have thought it would be this delicious. Daniel, quick reply. Don't let my love clap one hand, hahaha."
Alia was not aware that her words made Daniel sculpt. His heart stopped beating for a moment, then went back to beating at an extra speed. "That's pretty dangerous."
"What's dangerous?" Alia was still laughing. "If I say it over and over again, you'll live."
"Dead is better than that." Daniel chimed.
"You don't like it?" Alia began to look at Daniel. "Your face is often flushed, loh. Why could that be? Expressing no."
Daniel covered his face with one hand. He sighed. Leaning his back hard, made their carriages sway. Alia directly hit Daniel's arm with bulging eyes.
"We can fall to death if you keep swaying" Alia said.
"I've been dead first since," Daniel responded, not caring much. "Say it again."
"What?" Alia held the iron around her firmly.
"Guesto, I love you." Daniel gathered determination.
Alia nodded. "Oh, I love you too, Daniel."
Alia's laughter rang out again, making Daniel scowl. He did not want to repeat that word. Daniel thought it would be difficult to regain the atmosphere of romance like that. It just feels like Alia is breaking it up.
"And there's one more thing I know from my coworkers who watch a lot of drama." Alia seems to still have an idea to prank Daniel.
Daniel just sighed and nodded.
"After expressing each other's love, they continued kissing."
Daniel fell silent, then looked down. Thinking of what better jump from here than facing Alia who always rightly archery her heart.
