Chapter 74

Daren and Daniel seem to be running around in no direction at every corner of the hospital when they realize Ayana left the treatment room and left some blood stains that have begun to dry up, that means Ayana was gone from a few hours ago.

Security personnel with a rush of decisive steps but fear echoed almost throughout the luxury hospital, they have neglected to keep the safety of one of the most influential family members in the United States.

"They found it" Shouted one of the guards from the cctv control room, as Daniel and Daren ran in and confirmed Ayana's whereabouts.

Daren is seen punching the air with annoyance at the screen that shows Ayana walking limped while holding on to the wall.

while Daniel, sitting next to the officer, could only rough his hair, his eyes began to fog when he saw Ayana walking towards the hospital gate.

"It looks like he stopped a taxi, call the police" an officer told his partner who was quick to carry out the order.

It took about three hours for the police to be able to pocket the license plate of the taxi number that was boarded by Ayana, after checking all the cctv in front of the gate of the hospital and some other built cctv.

When the sun had begun to rise Daniel and Daren could only find a little bright spot, but did not make them breathe a sigh of relief before really managed to find Ayana.

"one hundred thousand USD??" the taxi driver screeched and immediately covered his mouth with his hands when one of the jewelry store clerks said the price of the ring he was carrying.

That amount of money he could use to buy a minimalist style house in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

"But it's not stolen, is it, sir?" the shopkeeper woman scanned the entire body of the taxi driver with an accusatory look.

"Of course not, someone gave it to me" the taxi driver replied honestly. But could not stop the scornful gaze of the shopkeeper.

The woman nearly pressed a button under the display to call security but stopped because several policemen in full uniform had already entered and approached the taxi driver.

"Are you the father of Alberto the taxi driver with the xxx license plate?" asked one of the policemen with sunglasses perched on his nose.

"True sir" Alberto confirmed but with a face of fear and confusion.

"You have to explain something to us at the office" the policeman immediately pulled Alberto's arm and was about to take him, but the jewelry shopkeeper woman standing behind the storefront immediately stopped them.

"Sir Police" the woman gave the ring that Alberto had brought to the policeman, but the policeman put it back in Alberto's thick shirt bag and passed.

In the interrogation room has seen Daren and Daniel who began to look shabby, they do not want to miss a single piece of information about Ayana so they come alone to the Police station.

"Where's ⁇ ia??" Daren arrived to clutch the collar of Alberto's shirt, but the man had just entered and the grass was too clear to understand the reason why he was brought here.

"Calm Daren!" daniel said firmly "you're just gonna slow the police down to find Ayana" He said, continuing to rub his face huffed.

Daren then took off his grip and let the police do his job.

Daniel's hands clenched firmly, determined to take Ayana away and live far away in other parts of the world if he found her, he will not let a single speck of sadness fall on the heart of the woman he loved so much. Fuck Daren and the Bosleys! Or rumors circulating about him and his sister's wife, Toh since long ago he was ready to lose and face everything.

The police then showed the photo of Ayana to Alberto.

"You're looking for this woman, in the early hours of the morning she asked to be delivered to Current Beach!"

"Current Beach?" spontaneously in the room said simultaneously, Daren immediately out and intend to go to the place as soon as possible he contacted someone from his company and asked for a helly.

After a brief discussion, finally Daniel, Alberto and the police departed using police helly, and did not forget to move hundreds of personnel to comb the Beach Current area, and not to forget, a beach famous for its wave violence and a sweeping Rip Current.

Hours later, police combed the Rip Current area of reliable divers from the Navy Seal were also involved, but they did not find a bright spot of Ayana's whereabouts, plus there was no cctv in the area. But the police were inexhaustible armed with information Alberto they managed to find a sedan that is believed to be parked that night.

A pair of lovebirds of the sedan owners below entered into a makeshift tent set up around the beach , although they seemed confused but they tried to cooperate.

Shortly afterwards an officer brought in the front camera footage of the sedan car.

"How's bro?" Calvin patted the shoulder of Daniel who was sitting on a large rock while looking far toward the middle of the beach.The man had just come by driving his personal car.

Daniel shook his head and did not answer until Calvin sat down next to him, while the surrounding police were still seen combing the area.

Huh.....Daniel sighed strongly but could not relieve the feeling, Ayana's shadow still continued to dance in his mind.

"I'm sure Ayana's fine, my friend" said Calvin confidently, "You'll see her again whether it's sooner or later" he continued.

"I'm a stupid man who can't even protect my woman"

"Where was the old Daniel, you looked so concerned just because of a woman" Calvin screeched, he should have comforted Deniel but instead dropped his mentality.

"I'd even be willing to look stupid if it was for Ayana's sake"

Calvin smiled wryly, why today he looks like an evil friend. But how else, Calvin had his own reasons.

The rumble of some helly was heard again, this time they brought some reliable divers from the Navy seal along with diving equipment, it does not take long they immediately down the inside of the sea, especially around rip current which can indeed drag someone to the middle of the deep sea.

Instantly Daniel felt increasingly weakened,

Don't tell me if Ayana?? Daniel shook his head slowly, casting bad thoughts about the possibility of Ayana ending her life at sea. He got up and tried to step into the makeshift tent with the rest of his strength. No matter what the cry of Calvin kept calling his name.

Inside the tent he found Daren sitting down and looking down close his face to a wooden shirt and hit the table strong while continuing to curse at his stupid self, Daren cried as a cry that Daniel had never heard even when his sister was a child.

Seeing Daren's condition, Daniel's heart is getting weaker he walked in front of the computer screen that one of the police officers tried to show, Daniel passed the two lovebirds and then turned the laptop towards him. As his legs weakened, unable to support his body, he almost collapsed, but Calvin tried to reach him.

The video in front of him came from the sedan two lovebirds, that night they did not realize that Ayana was there and was caught on camera right at the location of Rip Current, the woman walked up to the middle of the sea but when the water was seen the chest limit the car moved backwards leaving the location. The light from the street lamp clearly shows Ayana's body wrapped in Daniel's Long Coat.

"No way....." Daniel immediately approached Daren and grabbed the collar of his sister's shirt.

"IF IT ENDS LIKE THIS WHY DON'T YOU JUST LET IT GO HAH!!!" Daniel punched a bogem into Daren's face, but the man resigned without a fight he did not even grimace as fresh blood flowed down his thin.

"Daniel you!!!" Calling Calvin, he and some of the police were in charge of breaking up Daniel. Until the man sat down and pinched his head strongly.

Calvin who saw it could only sigh resignedly.
