Chapter 35. From Eyes Down to Heart

The elevator door opened after a young man pressed the number button where he was headed. Adrean was also in a hurry at the moment, because his schedule was so congested.

"What happened to her?" Adrean asked inwardly as he found the girl he was waiting for passed out inside the elevator.

"He didn't come, so this is the cause." He was very worried about the girl.

The young man without much thought directly carried the girl into his vast office space. He forgot all his original purpose.

"Check the CCTV send me the footage." Adrean orders firmly on Briyan who always controls security in the office.

"What happened, sir?" Briyan asked curiously as her best friend held her own control.

The young man immediately turned off his phone before answering Briyan's question. He contacted a very clever Doctor who was his best friend ever since they were together studying in this country.

The doctor immediately came and headed for Adrean's room. The words of the neighbors of fellow employees began to be heard.

"What happened until the doctor came here?" Ask a curious employee.

"Sometheth since the owner of this company came and the young girl applied for a job here a lot of things happened." Connect with other employees.

"You guys got fired." Briyan said firmly with her face.

Briyan did not give any explanation and went straight to his superior's room. Briyan is very firm especially with his face that goes beyond the cold North pole so that all employees do not dare to talk about things.

Doctor Marco can go directly into the office space of the company's leader because it is escorted by Briyan who is known as the assistant chairman of the company's owner. In contrast to Adrean who never showed himself until almost no one recognized him as the owner of the company.

Some of the female employees who saw Adrean carrying a girl were astonished. Their superiors easily paid attention to the new employee.

The sound of an enormous office door was knocked by two young men who were his best friends. They forget that the door will open automatically for fear that there will be a raging lion because of their delay.

Their leaders if they are angry anything can happen. Adrean is the best friend for them because he is willing to give anything for his best friend.

"What happened to him?" Ask Dr. Marco before checking it out.

"You didn't do anything to her, did you?" He continued as he approached the girl who had fainted and was bedridden in Adrean's office space.

"Don't touch him." He said with high intonation.

"Your boss is possessive." Doctor Marco said in a whisper to Adrean's personal assistant.

"If he hears you can be beheaded." Briyan warned the Doctor.

Adrean kept a close eye on the Doctor during the examination process. He didn't want the doctor to check on him for too long.

"What exactly is your relationship with her that you are so possessive of?" The Doctor asked curiously because it was rare for a girl close to Adrean.

"Your job is only to check on patients, not to interrogate me like a cop." The young man said firmly.

"It's a recipe that needs to be redeemed." The Doctor said by giving Brian a piece of paper.

Adrean snatched the recipe and kept it in his wallet. The doctor was convinced that the girl was not just an ordinary worker.

"You didn't torture him, did you, until he was sapped and malnourished?" Ask the Doctor with a smile.

"You're sure he's up to that?" Ask Adrean to make sure.

"Hem." The doctor answered, lowering his head.

The young man could not believe what he had just heard. He has been giving low salaries to his employees.

"Why should there be a problem like this when I'll be back." Inner Adrean stared intensely at the girl who was in front of him.

Doctor Marko is escorted by Adrean's assistant to the lobby. They both don't talk much.

A friend who was patting the shoulder of his Boss who was staring at a girl to disperse his daydream. Adrean turned his head for a moment at the person who had just touched a little hard.

"If you still want to continue your journey, just keep going." Said Briyan as a friend.

"I'll handle it, and keep it for you." Further.

"Thank you." Adrean.

"It wasn't worth your sacrifice back then." Briyan.

"Don't look on, it can be really from the eyes down to the heart." Briyan reminded.

"Hem." Adrean said turning around leaving the girl to go to make up for the recipe he had just received.

Adrean is currently feeling sorry for the girl, but there is little sense since they met even in an unsupportive situation.
