Simon's Bride

Simon's Bride
8. The Mansion Leopard Part 2

The bus stopped at a huge two-door iron gate. The bus driver turned to Anna.

"It's up to Madam. This is the Mansion you're heading to" he said.

Anna nodded, then lifted Leonard in her sling.

"Can you?" ask the driver while he nodded. Anna's small body makes her doubt the woman can hold her child who is classified as plump a little longer.

"It's okay. I can" said Anna, as she began to move down from the bus.

Anna stood up as she looked towards the bus that finally drove back leaving her. He corrected Leon's position, Leon's head resting on his left shoulder. Anna's two hands propped the boy's body to the chest. After taking a deep breath, he drew closer to the iron fence and glanced while shouting.

"Hello! Did someone?"

Anna glanced up, convinced that the object on top of the high wall to her left was a camera. Standing there, so that anyone who was watching the image from the camera could see Leon's face sleeping on his shoulder.

The estimate was correct, because a while later, two men came half-run. Apparently behind the lush trees behind the fence, there was a guard post that was not visible to Anna.

"Sir Leon" said one of the men.

"Hello. I'm the teacher's mother at Leonard's school. He wasn't picked up and asked me to drive him here" Anna explained.

The other man immediately opened the iron gate wide.

"Please, Miss."

The two black-clothed men with very short hair were looking at Anna with probing eyes. Starting from the flat shoes that he wears, his knee-length skirt that is green toska, then to his white blouse that is behind Leon's body, and then to his white blouse, then stop at his face that was a little sweaty because it carried Leon who was a decent weight.

"You're a teacher at Leon's school?" search for one of the guard men.

"Can you name it?"

Anna took a deep breath, she could not bear to wake Leon so that the interrogation by this guard could be missed, no need to do. Enough Leon explained, surely these two big men will allow him to pass.

"I'm Anna, Anna Geraldi. Master in Rainbow Kindergarten "

The man nodded.

"You must be tired, give Mr. Leon to me. Let me be the fat one" said one other man with a slight smile.

Anna felt that the two people did not believe her.

What is my unconvincing appearance as a teacher?

Anna was silent as she looked towards the path that was in front of her. Lots of trees, he didn't see any buildings. Which meant he had to walk again if he wanted to reach the mansion.

The two guard men who were looking at Anna whispered to each other when they saw the teacher's mother silent as she looked at the street towards the mansion.

"Lord Leon was never picked up. What exactly is ...."

"You're right. We'd better get Mr. Leon from this woman."

"Miss ...." The gatekeeper stopped talking when he saw Leonard move and started to open his eyes.

"Little master. You're up!" call one of the guards.

Anna looked flatly at the two people.

Do they think I drugged this kid? Of course he woke up, Leon just fell asleep earlier ....

"Mam Ann ...." Leon dyed while holding both Anna's shoulders with his arms. "We have arrived ....."

"It seems so .. mmm ... Leon can come down now, right?" ask Anna. His feet began to tingle.

Leon nodded. Makes Anna exhale in relief.

The boy sagged down, then stood up while holding Anna's hand with one hand, then one more hand rubbed his eyes, his mouth then evaporated widely.

"Leon fell asleep earlier ...."

"Hu um," replied Anna. Waiting for what the guard and his student will do.

"Uncle-uncle, Leon wants to see Val and Aislin. Can you get us in?"

"Oh, sure, sir. Wait, I'll take ken ...."

The guard stopped speaking when he heard the horn of a black car stopping in front of the gate. The two immediately ran towards the gate welcoming the arrival of the car they knew contained their master. Alrico Lucca's.

Anna pulled over to the edge of the lane, still holding Leon. The newly arrived black car stopped just a few centi from its place and Leon.

The driver who was driving the car had just come down, intending to open the door for his master. But the man who was at the back had already descended first.

A black-haired man, with a gallant body and a charming smile descended from the car and approached towards Anna.

"Good day, Ah ... Leon?"

Leonard took off his grip on Anna's hand. Closer towards the handsome man who immediately crouched down in order to deal with the boy.

"Why is Leon here? Why not tell me it's coming" said the man.

Leon began to chatter, Anna to the point of having trouble catching all the sentences of the boy. Starting from his busy father and grandfather, then his desire to meet his younger siblings.then have lunch with eggs in the cottage that reminds him of the Green Forest, which is the, until the exciting experience of waiting for the bus while eating ice cream strawberry gave his teacher's mother.

The man called Dad by Leon seemed to nod his head. Anna was still staring unblinkingly at the man's face. He recognized that face which he thought was Leonard's real father. The man once picked Leon up with a beautiful woman who held a daughter biennial.

"All right then. Let's go in. Mom must be glad you came."

Leon nodded happily, then turned his head and remembered not having introduced his teacher mother.

"Dad, this is Mam Ann. Leon asked Mam to bring Leon here!"

Alric extended his hand. "Hello, Mum Ann. Thank you for taking care of Leon and bringing him here. Sorry to trouble you. If you knew Leon would come here, we'd have sent a car to pick him up."

Anna welcomed the hand full of hospitality.

"It's my duty, Mr ...."

After shaking hands, Alric opened the back door and let Leon and Anna in.

Anna shook her hand the sign refused.

"No, Mister. Since Leon has arrived here, I'm back. There's something I have to do."

Leon immediately pouted, then began to whine at Alric.

"Reg ... Mam Ann can't go home before seeing the fur ball. Don't let Mam go home now Dad."

Alric looked at Ann, smiling with raised eyebrows.

"You're here first. My wife would want to meet. I personally invite you to our mansion" Alric said politely.

Alric was still holding the door open, Leon had not yet entered, as if the boy would not have entered if Anna had not entered.

"Alright," said Anna relented. He really feels awkward.

They all got in the car. Alric moved in next to his driver, while Leon and Anna sat in the back.

The car drove until it arrived in front of the huge mansion. The flower garden is neatly arranged in the courtyard and around the large mansion. Anna guessed, the hostess must have liked flowers.

After they were all taken down in front of the mansion, Alric took Leon and invited Anna in. A servant was at the front and opened the door.

They are rich people who have dozens of servants serving them all the time ... Anna bathes.

Anna arrived at the middle hall of the large mansion. Alric said something to the waiter who opened the door for him earlier.

The waiter then drove Anna to a sitting room with brightly colored sofas, wide glass in the room showing the view towards the park. The sliding door that opens in the middle allows one to step outside the terrace and enjoy the beauty of the flowers out there up close.

Anna sat stiffly and motionless in the corner of a sofa. His eyes looked out. Alone he waited in the room wrapped in silence. This kind of luxury he had only seen in movies. His life has never been touched by luxury things like the things in this mansion.

Anna's head turned around, looking at the luxurious and high-quality looking objects that were there. He measured the size of the room in his brain. Comparing the size of the room with a bedroom containing twenty children who jostled while sleeping. A room that was even smaller than this sitting room. It must be filled with twenty children.

Anna sighs .. where she grew up. A home that has difficulty supporting them because of the number of children that must be accommodated.

A couple later arrive, grateful that they are willing to adopt her and Nuella, a little girl who was never separated from her in the orphanage.

Anna felt grateful at that time .. but life was not that easy .. All that suffering had just begun. Anna was downcast, Nuella's face clearly reflected.

Life is very fortunate for some people ... but for some more ... life ....

"Mam Ann?"

The sweet voice of a woman greeted Anna. Make him look up and immediately swallow. The beauty emblazoned on both her eyeballs made her guess that the woman was the hostess.

Mommy Leonard ... is even prettier when viewed up close ..., Anna said in her heart.
