Shocked Marriage

Part 1's. Surprised

Irene walked out of the bathroom inside her room. She rubbed the towel into her still wet hair. While in front of the bathroom door, Irene arrived - suddenly remembered about the job application she submitted to the Gradient Company company.

"Gosh, I forgot to check the company's website. I have to see if I'm accepted to work for the Gradient Company or not,"

Irene took a small step towards her desk. He sat there and began to open the laptop that had been on the table since. Then, he immediately opened the Gradien Company's website. He wanted to see if the name was on the list of people accepted to work there. However, it seems that his fate was indeed not good today. When Irene wanted to open the website it arrived - just the signal at her house began to slow down. The website that he opened also only showed arrows that continue to rotate indicating that it is loading or in process.

"Ah, why else is this? Is the WiFi in my house starting to get in trouble again. All right, I'll wait for an hour. I hope the signal can be normal again so I can immediately check whether I am accepted to work at the company or not,"

"Irene, honey. Come down, kid, dinner's ready, you know" cried Lalita from downstairs.

"Yes, Ma. In a moment, Irene came down" Shouted Irene back from inside her room.

"I lived first. Besides, I'm hungry too,"

Irene got up from the chair and walked to the door of her room. He opened the door of his room. Then, out of his room and not forgetting he closed the door to his room again.

Dining Room.

Irene walked towards the dining table. There are already Lalita and Rayyan who have sat down and enjoyed dinner first. Irene pulled out one of the empty seats facing Lalita. He sat down on the chair and began to pick up some of the dishes that had been provided.

The atmosphere of silence was felt in the room. Not a single sound was heard except the sound of spoons and forks clashing against each other on the plate. Lalita, who disliked the quiet atmosphere of the dinner, started a conversation with Irene.

"What about your dear decision about the matchmaking that your Papa has set?,"

"Ma, I told you that I don't want to be betrothed to any man. I've got my own life choices, Ma. So please don't force me to accept this match,"

"Papa and Mama did not want me to choose the wrong man or because Papa and Mama want to expand our company's business network. Irene still won't want to be betrothed to the man,"

"Okay, if you don't want to comply with Papa and Mama. So from today Papa will revoke all the facilities that Papa has given you. Be it ATMs, debit cards, cars, including you from tomorrow look for your own job and home because this house is no longer your home. You don't want to obey Papa, it means you have chosen not to want to be the son of Papa and Mama, again,"

"Pa, don't be like that with our son. Irene definitely wouldn't be able to live without it all,"

"Let him, Ma. Let him not continue to be spoiled and become a dissident child,"

"Okay, from tomorrow Irene won't be coming back to this house. Irene will also live alone without Papa's facilities,"

Busway stop

At 08:00.

Irene stood near the busway stop while showing her facial expression that looked slightly exhausted and depressed.

"Geez, why did I approve Papa's decision yesterday. My body ache, I was tired of it early in the morning had moved to the apartment that Uncle Samuel had given me when I had my 22nd birthday. Good thing there is an apartment if not I can live in a dirty rented house and do not have AC. I won't be able to stay a second in a small, hot rented house,"

"His eyes are people who can still ride in a car to go to the office. Now I have to wait for the bus to get to the office. Good thing yesterday I accepted at the Gradient Company so I can still live my life needs day-to-day,"

A few minutes passed, and a bus came. The bus stopped in front of the stop. Irene and some people who had been waiting for the bus came directly into the bus.

Irene got into the bus and sat on the left seat of the second row. He took the airpods out of his bag. Then, he listened to romance songs that calmed him down.
