Eps 43 Disappointed

Today Bram did not go to work. His athletic, well-proportioned body was laid under a soft blanket. His feet refused to come down from his soft bed. Dropped here and there but his eyes were not closed for a single moment.

He was not excited at all and today the taste has been over-dosed. He intends not to leave the room.

The hour hand has shown right at number seven and this is out of the habit of Bram who always gets up early and is ready to go to the office.

A knock on the door was heard in front of Bram's room.

"Come in" said Bram.

"Young master has not prepared for work outside his usual today", besit Pak Kus who saw Bram still in his bed. His face was sleep-deprived.

"Did he stay up last night?, asked Mr. Kus curious.

"The lady and the big master asked the young master to get off the dinner shirt" Kus said.

"Yes well thank you" Bram replied with a heavy heart.

Her footsteps were heavy to the bathroom. If not for his parents asking to get out of this bed then do not expect him to rise from his bed.

Not long enough Bram down the stairs to the dining room. He still looks handsome even with a face that looks very sleep deprived coupled with not excited.

He wears a light blue T-shirt and navy pants. It looks so good the clothes he wears. Everything has been prepared by Mr. Kus because it's a task that Mr. Kus used to do.

"Bram", greet mama while watching the look on her son's face that is not excited and lack of sleep.

"Have you not slept all night?, asked the curious mother.

"He's getting married tomorrow" said Bram with a very sad state of being seen once highlighted by his eyes.

My face was like hearing lightning during the day. Hearing what his son said was like disbelief.

"Apaaa!. said mama while standing from the seat and with a high tone and a face of disbelief.

"What is the reason that Hanum gave so that he did not make his choice to you? ' said the mother with a disappointed face.

Bram paused for a moment and set his breath so that no sound could be heard stammering because he held back the cry when saying the reason Hanum told him.

"He misinterpreted my sincerity to take responsibility for what I had done to him ma. He thought he would be separated from our son when he was born. he felt I would reach out and turn to another woman after having our child".bram said in a voice he could not control sounded very sad and desperate.

"I'm disappointed in you Bram, you didn't manage to convince Hanum's heart" said Mama with eyes full of disappointment and anger.

The father who had only seen and heard could only say: "You have lost Bram".

Papa's words had hit him right in his deep heart.

Now he was sitting limp with a clear grain at the end of his eyes dripping on his cheeks.

Bram is like a dry plant that grows in a barren and arid land. It took a drop of water to wet his heart that had dried up from the deep sorrow.

This guilt will haunt him throughout his life, he was not given the opportunity to make amends for the mistakes he had made.

"Hanum I also want you not only the fetus that is now growing in your womb". cried Bram in the heart.
