She's my husband, brother!
CHAPTER 23. GRADUATION SURPRISE

Finished soaking in warm water, Melati wearing brown-tan knee-length shorts combined with a green short-sleeved t-shirt, chose to sit on a hanging swing made of rattan on the balcony terrace of her room.

He leaned his head on the neatly arranged pillow – pillow on the swing. With headphones on his head he slowly closed his eyes while listening to the sound of – beautiful tones that can relax his heart and mind.

For a moment Melati did not want to think about anything until finally the music she heard at this time made her closed and finally fell asleep.

“Aaaaarrrrrrrghhh!! You are still Mel! You know that I fell in love with Aris first, I knew Aris first. Butwhy? Why are you even his partner! Why not me?!” Dona's Shouts to Melati.

“But Brother, I don't have any feelings for Aris! I just admire him, nothing more!” sergeant Melati.

“Lying! You must like him, right? And you also want to be her companion, right?!” accuse Dona and Melati of shaking her head.

“OK! Then there's no point in me living. So I better die. I'll be meeting with my family soon!” dona said as she scratched the sharp knife on her wrist.

“Kak.. Not Brother.. Sis.. Brother Dona!!” Shouted Melati as hard as he could.

Jasmine gasped with sweat that flooded her entire body. He was stunned while trying to manage his ngos – ngosan breath.

Jasmine got down from the swing then stepped foot and took the drinking water that was presented on her study table.

He sipped the water in the glass slowly. Take a slow breath from the nose and exhale it from the mouth. It was done several times Melati until she felt relieved.

“Astaghfirullah.., it turns out to be just a dream,” said Melati while wiping her hair that was scratched.

Then Melati took a waker clock that perched close to the row of books – books neatly arranged. On seeing the clock hand that rotates then he said, “Yes Allah turned out to be almost magrib.”

Melati walked outside. He tidied up some rather scattered books on the table. Then go back to his room and close the door that opened wide while pulling the curtain cloth hanging until it did not look flawed the window in the least.

A few minutes later I heard the sound of Adhan signalling magrib's time had arrived. Melati immediately improved to carry out her obligations.

“Mel! Mel!” call Dona while continuing to knock on Melati's room door. Because since noon Melati can not be contacted.

Melati opened the door and let Dona in.

“Hei! Look at this. I bring something special for you,” said Dona while presenting a paper bag with the brand logo of a famous product.

“Wow! This is really nice. I love it! Thank you My best sister in the world,” said Melati as she wrapped her hands around Dona's shoulders.

“Just at graduation Sister later, this you have to wear,” pinta Dona.

“Siiip! Execute!”

“Haiissh! You this, dah ah buruan yuk. Papa and Mama have been waiting for tuh,” said Dona.

The two brothers climbed the stairs to the dining room.

“Mel, where are you going? From noon Mama call can not. Though want Mama with clothes fittings lho.”

“Not only Kak Dona aja who will be in graduation, Ma?” sahut Melati while feeding a spoonful of rice to his mouth.

“Betul, only Papa wants after Dona's graduation ceremony is finished we will take a family photo in the studio,” explained Mr. Heru.

Jasmine only mangosteen – mangosteen while continuing to chew.

“So tomorrow you go with Donna to fit her clothes.. Don, anter your sister yes,” said Bu Hilda.

Dona simply nodded as her mouth was still full of food.

Finish eating Dona and Melati go into their room – each.

Dona tidied up – items on the study table that were a little messy. It's back to how it was. But Dona's attention is distracted by one thing that has been stored for a long time.

He picked it up, then he opened the pendant. Long Dona looked at the photo in the toy. Then Dona raised both symmetrical corners of her lips upwards.

With a taste he said, “Ma, Pa. Finally, Dona was able to complete Dona's college well with cumlaude grades. And Dona can fulfill Mama's wish that Dona will become a Doctor later. Now that title is already stuck behind the name Dona, Ma.”

While Melati, he is still cool to try the new boots bought by his brother.

“Tau aja Kak Dona my taste,” murmured slowly.

One week Later

“Melati! Come on, baby. Don't let us be late. Poor your Brother!’ shouted Bu Hilda because Melati had not appeared yet.

Not long after Melati appeared, she walked slowly and very heartily – hearts as she stepped down the steps.

Mr. Heru glanced at a glance at Melati, then smiled knots while saying, “Means you should often – often practice the road by using heels.”

“Papa..,” says Bu Hilda.

A few hours later they arrived at the location where Dona was at graduation. With wisdom all the invitations follow the process well one by one until it is finished.

Now it's time to take each other selfies.

Dona was still wearing a graduation robe complete with a hat on her head with a map in her hand.

Slowly he walked to where his family was waiting. With a happy smile Dona tightly hugged Mama and her adoptive Papa. Because Dona felt it was thanks to them that he was able to get to this point.

“Congratulations Ma'am Doctor, finally.” said Melati as she widened her hand span preparing to give her sister the best hug.

“Ma, Pa, and you too Mel. Thank you so much, without you I wouldn't be like this. And this, I dedicate to Papa and Mama,” said Dona with – glass eyes he gave the gold medal he won as an appreciation for the title of best student every year until he finished his college.

“Honey..this is yours, so you have to keep it well. We sincerely do what we should do,” said Bu Hilda while returning the gold medal given by Dona earlier.

“Ayo dong we take pictures first,” sela Melati melt the atmosphere.

Finally they took _ selfie. From formal style to free style.

When they were still cool to take pictures arrived – just arrived Mr. Heru remembered Aris and asked him to Dona.

“Don, how come Aris doesn't look? Didn't she also graduate today?”

“I – Yes Pa. Maybe still gathered with colleagues or family,” said Dona.

The person in question finally emerged from a crowd. With a big smile he greeted the Dona family. Shaking Dona's parents' hands is also Melati.

Melati smiled bitterly while congratulating Aris. With a sharp eye as if directly penetrating to the heart, Aris thanked him.

“How about the three of you take a picture together,” chirps Bu Hilda.

“Bby Ma,” sahut Dona.

While Melati and Aris looked at each other. Melati felt uncomfortable when their eyes clashed face to face and the scene was caught by Dona's eyes. So that the feeling that once existed now seems to reappear.

Bemoan. Dona tried to cover up her pain. Until when taking pictures together, Aris's eyes never separated to look warm Melati lovingly. There was a sincere love emanating from the look in Aris's eyes.

Melati flinched as Aris's right hand coiled around her shoulder while taking a picture and returned to face-to-face.

Mr. Heru and Bu Hilda looked at each other. They felt that something was awkward when they saw Aris's different attitude. And so did his two daughters.

After they finished taking pictures, Aris walked up to Pak Heru and Bu Hilda.

She expressed her feelings, “Om, Auntie. I apologize if I am being disrespectful. But I have to say it now, and that too if Om and Aunty approve, that I. I want to propose to Om and Auntie.”.

They were flabbergasted to hear the word – words spoken from Aris' mouth.
