Chapter 24: Meeting

"Regan?"

Regan came at lunchtime at Maya's rented. Maya squandered to hug him tightly. How much he misses Regan. Regan who always accompanied him to sleep now split time with Sena.

"Eat already?" ask Regan.

Maya shook her head. Regan invited him to lunch together.

Maya puts food purchased by Regan near the campus, while Regan sends a message to Sena. 

Regan's.

Honey, don't forget to eat! Dinner at the yuk restaurant!

Penal.

Yeah, Baby.

Regan smiled happily, he quickly saved his phone and looked at Maya who was pouting. Regan approached him and asked why the wife was pouting indistinctly. 

"Is it okay with Sena?" ask Maya.

"Yes, thank God he's not angry anymore and has now returned to our home."

Maya stared at the husband, and then immediately ate because he was already hungry. Regan saw Maya's face that was still pouting, she pinched the cheek of her second wife. It is undeniable that Regan is very anxious with Maya. 

"What the hell? I want to eat rujak."

"Eh, again?"

"Again how?"

Regan relented. "Well, after this we'll find the convent."

On the other side. 

Devan is out looking for food, he rarely eats in his company's cafeteria. At the same time, he saw Sena who had climbed onto the bike. Devan opened the windshield.

"Where are you going?" ask Devan.

Looking up, he answered the question from the boss politely. "You're looking for food, sir."

"Come in! I want to eat out, too."

Sena was silent for a moment, she was afraid that other employees would see her. Devan opens the door and tells Sena to enter without a refusal. Sena also had no choice and quickly got into the car. A little awkward felt by Sena, especially when she saw Devan joining hands with Winda. 

"Where are you going to eat?" ask Devan.

"Ehm. happens to want to find hodgepodge as rujak," replied Sena. 

"Why not eat in the cafeteria? Willa's buying all the officers."

Sena shook her head, she wanted to eat out today. In the car Sena is confused to melt the atmosphere especially they each already have a partner. Stupidly Sena even wants to get into Devan's car, if other employees find out it will even make a mess. 

"For this morning you just misunderstood, me and Vinda have nothing to do anymore. It's all just acting."

"Sorry, why did Mr. Devan tell me about this?"

"I'm afraid you're misunderstood and jealous."

Turned his face away, jealous? Ah.. will not, Sena is self-conscious if she will not be able to be with Devan even though she is widowed. Devan chuckled, he was very anxious with Sena's timid expression. The car drove swiftly towards the square where street vendors were selling, Devan knew a good hodgepodge. Arriving there, Devan opens the door for Sena. They enter the tent but the backup is unexpected when Regan with Maya queues there, Maya looks to hug Regan from behind and Regan's hands stroke Maya's arms holding her. Sena got out and got into the car with Devan.

"Come? You okay?" Devan got in the car.

"We'll find somewhere else."

Sena nodded as she wiped her tears, she was very sad and jealous of their closeness, yet she tried to be strong-witted. 

"Why are you still holding on to him?" ask Devan.

Sena shook her head and turned her face away as if she did not want to be asked again. Devan understands, he also often gets betrayal from Vinda. Devan told his assistant to look for another place to eat some distance away. On the way they were silent, Sena's phone also got a message many times but he did not respond. 

"Sometimes love can make us very stupid" Devan said, glancing at Sena. "Hurt many times, betrayed many times but our hearts do not respond to abandoning it. Just like I was with Winda, he had an affair with some people I knew but in the end we were together again for Kia's reasons, but this time it was enough. There's no love for him anymore" Devan continued. 

Sena started looking at Devan whose eyes were reddened, the man apparently harbored a deep sadness. How not? Her marriage that has been running for 9 years only left wounds to her and Kia and then it seems like this is at the end of her patience. 

"Winda used to be my little friend, I've liked her a long time ago but she married another man and divorced a year later. I was thinking if it was my destiny to have her, I asked her to get married and then Kia came one year later." Devan suppressed his desire to tell a story then let out a long sigh. "Well... Then I met her ex-husband first and she told me why divorcing Winda, Winda often went out late and dated a lot of men, I didn't believe it at first but I only believed it after discovering it myself and it was so painful."

Sena tried to stroke Devan's shoulder to spread it, the man was almost like crying but was held back. He didn't want Sena to be sad. Devan's story with Sena is very similar, they are betrayed by their respective partners, therefore Devan wants to marry Sena because they both have the same fate and maybe they are destined to be together. 

"You love Regan?" ask Devan.

"Slightly, want to say a lot of free," replied Sena.

"So there's no chance for me?"

Sena chuckled, Devan is like a pebinor. Sena was also very surprised, why would a rich man like Devan be attracted to her? Is that just Kia's excuse? Though many other employees are more beautiful than Sena, why should Sena too?

"Maybe in your heart wonder, why am I interested in you?" ask Devan.

Can he read my mind? 

"Hahaha, I was attracted to you the first time you came to the office using your hair. You're a brave woman with that hair color for an office employee" Devan explained.

Sena gulped, she was a little embarrassed by Devan's statement. Devan was the top leader in the company and Sena was the lowest subordinate. 

"Is this hair so ugly? My husband said it was like a aunt when I was only 28 years old. I feel that way too." Sena twisted the ends of her hair because of her embarrassment. 

"Your husband said that? Haha... He says it like that so that you are sad and change your hair color immediately, he does not want to until his wife is glimpsed by another man" Devan replied. 

Sena was very happy if indeed her purple hair was not too tacky as Regan said. It's possible that Regan did not want to see his first wife get the attention of another man. Regan is really very sly. 

"Oh yes, we have arrived. It's also a hodgepodge shop, I hope you like."

They quickly go down and eat together, on the other hand Regan approached Sena's office but he did not find Sena there even though Regan had brought food for Sena. Regan approaches Bram in his room and leaves food for Sena to the papa. 

"Regan, is your relationship okay?" ask Bram.

"Yes, it's fine."

"May?"

"May too, we got along very well. Mom and Dad don't worry!" 

Bram hands the file to Regan, Regan reads all the papers. 

"Teach Sena to understand this test. You're a lecturer who's good at teaching Sena."

Regan scrunched her forehead. "Test for what?"

"Tests of promotion. You don't want your wife to be just a regular employee when she has a college degree? I know Sena is very stupid for math and calculation problems but she graduates accounting, don't miss the opportunity to be secretary of the main director. His salary is very high."

Secretary director? Devan means? Inner Regan was very surprised. 

Regan threw all those papers. "I didn't allow Sena to take that test. I can still feed my two wives even if I'm just a lecturer." 

"Re, this is for your wife's future too" Bram said.

"Devan and Sena have a relationship behind me. Papa just found out about this, right?" regan's words made Papa very surprised.
