Papa's Decision

In the living room of the mansion was already sitting Mahesa with an old man. An elderly man who had just arrived at his home after treatment abroad. The two sat facing each other on a sofa.

"Pa. I have married the girl according to what you ordered," Mahesa said.

"Good then" replied the old man who was the father of Mahesh.

"Then what about papa's promise?" ask Mahesa.

A circular smile on the face of the crease. Atmajaya said, "The newly married man has not had any children from his new wife."

"But isn't it a promise papa's gonna give it his all after I get married?" mahesa Protest.

"Yes after marriage and after you have given me a grandchild" Atmajaya continued.

"Just calm. Papa won't forget papa's promise."

Before long Delina went down the stairs to reach the family room. He was told by Ferdi to go down. Meet the father-in-law who just arrived home.

Atmajaya laughed at the silent Delina. He knew what his daughter-in-law was doing. Then Atmajaya said, "Have forgotten not to be forced. Later also long to remember yourself."

"Oh yes. Delina I will give half the shares of Mahesa Group on your behalf" Atmajaya said.

"Lho. What does Papa mean?" sahut Mahesa quickly.

"Mahesa Group shares will be renamed to Delina's" Atmajaya said.

"She doesn't know anything about stocks. Is Papa willing to let Papa's stock half of it belong to a child who just graduated from High School?"

"But Pa. Why should he be --" said Mahesa. However, it was again cut off by Atmajaya who told him to shut up.

Atmajaya put her index finger in front of her lips. As a signal, everything is silent and not protesting. Everything followed what the old man had hinted at.

"This is papa's inviolable decision. All this papa did for the good of all of us, including the company," explained Atmajaya.

"The company will be safe in Delina's hands" he continued.

"Only Delina can save us all."

The young master scrunched his forehead confused. Then he said, "What does that mean, Pa?" asked Mahesa who was currently managed to be confused by the words of her father.

"Have you not mostly asked let alone protest. Just do what you say" said Atmajaya.

"You will thank me for my decision at this time."

There was a rough gasp of breath from Mahesa. The man rubbed his hair into a mess. He threw his body onto the couch.

Suddenly marrying a second wife on the orders of Atmajaya alone had confused him. Moreover, plus Atmajaya gave half his shares to his second wife.

What's really behind all that? And why is it as if Atmajaya is so sure of Delina? Delina is the new person in the family. Not necessarily a good woman either. That is the mind of Mahesa today.

The three of them moved to the dining room to have dinner. The dishes filled the dining table. The servants had already opened the seats for the three.

"Good night" said a woman who had just arrived in the dining room.

The woman's voice managed to make the three look at her simultaneously. The beautiful woman smiled and walked closer to the dining table.
