Shackles Love Men Pay
CHAPTER 56

Kanaya was so thirsty that the water in the glass was even a toilet, not forgetting his neck was even wet because of drinking in a hurry. The man sighed softly, rubbing Kanaya's chin gently before the woman was about to fall back asleep.

"Thank you" he said as he laid his body back, Kanaya fell asleep slowly and where he cared what Ibra did without him watching.

Ibra couldn't sleep in the end, there was something that disturbed her mind all of a sudden. And in this matter, Gavin is the one he should be involved in. The man left Kanaya alone in his sleep, having arranged the bed to be comfortable for Kanaya.

His study room is a few rooms away from his room, Ibra deliberately did not ask Gavin to arrange it for the comfort and privacy that must be maintained during his stay in the house.

Ibra surrounded the view, a spacious room with various important documents and various books were there. Moving all these valuable things is not easy enough, slowly Ibra did by taking them one by one to the apartment since long ago without Indira's knowledge.

Entering with a slightly unusual feeling, Ibra accidentally locked the door after she entered. The man landed his body in the seat of power and is now closed while leaning tired.

Ibra stared at the pusar frame in the corner of the table, the gallant body of the papa as if still pictured living there. Massaging the base of his nose is quite strong, because somehow it feels like Ibra's head is dizzy suddenly.

"Pa, my wife started asking about Mama .. but, I never want that woman to know our marriage, I'm not wrong."

At least, Ibra never thought to give Indira a chance to know the woman he loves. In any case, Kanaya is not necessarily okay if Indira knows her.

Hoping that his father would answer Ibra's complaint, even though he was trained to be independent and not a weak man, but now Ibra needs the advice and protection of the father.

Damn, the father didn't answer at all. Ibra pulls the corners of the lips while wailing softly the warm smile of a firm man who always teaches to respect the degree of women in Ibra's life.

Although he was not that good, but when he met Kanaya, the man understood how Megantara felt to Sofia, the mother. A male figure who emphasizes that life is enough with one woman.

Dragging Indira in his life, Megantara had no other choice because at that time Ibra was still so small when left by Sofia. Incidentally Indira came from outside the city to see the situation Sofia can provide sustrance to Ibra as soon as possible.

Starting from asking for help so that his son was not hungry, Megantara asked Indira to be a mother of milk for Ibra who at that time status was the widow of one child. Not only was she a mother, but she also married Indira so that her son could truly feel complete parenthood.

He remarried only for Ibra's sake, instead fulfilling the desire to have a new partner. In her heart, Megantara has only one woman, Sofia. However, Indira's rights as a permanent wife he gave solely in honor of Indira as a surrogate mother to Ibra.

"Aaarrggghhh, why did Papa give me Mama like Indira!! He even makes me hurt every day when papa's gone."

What Megantara did not realize, the affection that Indira gave to Ibra made him blind. He believed too much to leave Ibra in his eternal sleep. Ibra always sleeps waiting for her bangunya, she only misses the figure of papa, but Indira forced her to flap her wings as far as possible after a few days the father left his name on his tombstone.

"Gavin, I want to fill that position ... and Gibran, can you get rid of that place? If you need to make him a parking lot."

Ibra spoke by phone, after revealing the will that was his responsibility, now the man actually discussed Gibran as well.

"Parker? Is there a clear reason you're removing someone, sir?"

Gavin did execute all his commands, but that doesn't mean such an unreasonable command. Who wouldn't suspect if the position of manager suddenly dropped into a parking lot, he thought increasingly thinking Ibra was out of his mind.

Only that, the reason he wanted to get rid of Gibran, regardless of Gibran's ability and responsibility, was that Ibra's thumbs-up remained indifferent.

"Huft, have you taken the medicine tonight? Don't miss it, after that sleep because tomorrow will be very long."

Hearing Gavin's reply, Ibra clenched her hand and closed the call unilaterally. If Gavin does not agree, it means that his order this time is indeed wrong.

Putting her phone rough on the table, Ibra sighed then stared at the dark night from behind her window. It was raining, it seemed like it was rushing along with the earthy streak of lightning up there.

Ibra looked so calm, but the nature was amazingly scary. He liked the sound of rain and the noise of the universe as if at war. Touching the glass that now looked dewy on the outside, Ibra painted his wife's initials there.

Until a split second passed, he realized ...

"Mrs?"

That shout was even bigger than the lightning bolt up there. The man immediately ran out so aware his wife he was staying too long.

"Kanaya!!" ibra shouted long, along with long steps towards his room.

His chest was stunned when he saw the wife had sat down and sheltered in the corner of the sofa, he shook and can be sure Kanaya was very afraid. The room was dim because the lights were turned off.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" Ibra hugged him tightly, guilt now taking hold of her, she did not expect that Kanaya would be this scared of the thing she liked.

"Where are you? Suddenly it's gone, I'm afraid, Mom."

His voice was increasingly trembling, not contrived, Kanaya was indeed timid with bad weather. Past trauma that he will never forget, until now still continues to haunt.

He doesn't like rain, let alone lightning and it happens at night. Because this atmosphere is exactly like the night he was with the last papa together.

"I'm sorry, I'm late until you're this scared."

Ibra carried Kanaya's body carefully, and Kanaya did not release Ibra in the slightest. Holding on so tightly as if afraid Ibra would do evil.

"The light should not be turned off," asked Kanaya then after the two were in the room, Ibra just nodded and obeyed his wife's will. Although he was very uncomfortable sleeping under such a bright light, for Kanaya's sake he was willing to float.

"Sleep again, it's almost morning, Nay." Kanaya saw a digital clock on the nightstand, it was almost morning so she was angry when Ibra was not by her side Suddenly.

"You stay here, don't go away." It was a request as well as a threat that Ibra had to follow, the man just nodded obediently and tried to close his eyes.

To Be Continue's.
