"Sister, is the food still there. I want to bring her home to my mother.she hasn't eaten from yesterday. Because I didn't bring the money home. And now the mother at the hospital is sick." Listen to her, I don't have any money, Devan's heart felt sad remembering his mother who was at home.

"Still, of course you can take it for your mother." Said Devan while thrusting the package at the boy.

"Thank you, brother." said the boy then took the package and ran away from Devan.

Before the boy ran away Devan immediately called out to him to stop his pace.

"Daddy, wait."

"Yes, what's wrong?" ask the boy.

"Where's your mother, can you see her" asked Devan.

"Mother, in the cardboard house at the end of the road there sister.of course you can meet mother.must be happy to see the two brothers who are good-hearted" said the child.

"If you want to meet mom, come with me" he said. Devan nodded then followed the boy's steps and followed Rendi also next to him .

They walked down the shabby streets, lots of cardboard and junk.not to mention the litter that was scattered. added to the very pungent smell.

After walking for approximately 10 minutes, they appeared in a small building measuring 2×2 meters which was only made of cardboard. Stemmed and decorated with cardboard as well.

A middle-aged mother was lying on a pile of cardboard and covered in a shabby sarong.

Devan and Rendi were stunned at the sight that was in front of them. They were both made to not believe what they saw.

"*How can they live in a place like this." - Inner Rendi.

"Oh Allah, have mercy on them. How could they get through their day in a place like this." Inner Devan*.

Rendi and Devan were both still in their minds until finally a shout resuscitated them.

"Oh, I woke up. Brother bring food for mother." cried the boy.

"Sir, what's going on deck?" ask Devan.

"Mother, from now on don't want to open my eyes"

"We're taking your mother to the hospital!" devan.

"But I don't have money" brother."

"No need to think about it. The most important thing is that mother can heal yes" the child agreed Devan's speech. Without waiting any longer Devan and Rendi help the boy to bring to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, the mother was taken to the ER to get treatment. They all seemed to be waiting for news from the doctor.

It had been almost 30 minutes they waited, but there was no sign of the doctor coming out of the room making them even more worried.

Devan saw the boy next to her pensive with tears that had wet his cheeks.

Devan rubbed the boy's back.

"Sir, you just calm down and pray.Your mother must be fine." Devan said.

"Yes, brother."

"Sister Devan's name, and her friend Rendi's brother" while looking towards Rendi who was standing.

" i, Andre sister. My mother's name is Mother Goddess."

When a small talk arrived the doctor approached them.

" Excuse me, is there something here called Andre."

"I'm Doc, I'm Andre's son." said Andre answered the doctor's question.

"Your mother is well, she's just tired and her blood pressure is quite low."

"Please, but try to get him enough rest, oh yes one more. I even though he has been good to me. I suggest to be treated here for 2 to 3 days first. to monitor and for him to recover quickly." suggested the doctor.

" Do what's best" said Devan.

"Sister, don't you just take it home. Andre doesn't have the money to pay for his mother's care" Andre said.

"You don't worry, for the cost of letting your sister pay. You take care of your mother, and pray that she will be healthy." Andre heard that immediately hugged Devan and said Thank you.

Since then, Andre considers Devan and Rendi as a figure who is meritorious for him and his mother. Andre promised in his heart that he would repay every favor of Devan and Rendi.

After a few days, the Goddess' mother can be brought home. Devan and Rendi accompany Andre and the Goddess' mother.

But Andre was surprised. Devan and Rendi did not drive them to the old cardboard house. Devan and Rendi take them to a simple rented house.

In the house, there were already some friends Andre in the streets waiting for their arrival.

"Sister, why are we here" asked the confused Andre.

"You and mom, and your other friends will stay here" replied Rendi.

"Yes, you will stay here." continued Devan emphasized Rendi's words.

"Thank you brother." said Andre. " The two of you are very kind to us. What should we do to repay all your kindness." Andre Devan and Rendi just smiled.

" i have, let's go in the mother's seat, from standing up. must be tired."

When inside the house, they all gathered in the living room.

"Sorry, we can only rent this simple house for your residence" said Rendi.

"It's okay, brother, we are very grateful we got a more decent place to live than before" said Adit one of Andre's friends.

" it's more than enough for all of us" Didit said, asserting.

" you don't have to think about the rent, this house is already a rental sister for the next 2 years. and one more thing. Brother there is this for your capital small small grocery business and."

"Thank you" said everything together.

From then on, they were all always there and helping each other when in need.

In a park seen Airin who was talking with two men wearing a black jacket with a burly body and fierce face.

"Thanks Boss, next time call us again if there's a new job" said the thug and left Airin alone.

Airin seemed so happy after hearing the news from his man.

Without him noticing there was someone who had recorded all his conversations.

In the hospital, Devan was still faithful to be next to his wife.it has been almost 24 hours but Sera never opened her eyes.

Devan felt someone pat her on the shoulder. Devan glanced at the man.

"Dev, I already know the mastermind behind everything that befalls the household of Loe and Sera."
