Alden followed Olive to the parking lot. Alden doesn't know what Olive's thinking right now. Alden chose silence. As time goes on, they are engaged as usual. What is different is that they keep their distance. Olive kept coming early and to the library before the bell rang while Alden returned to school to set the clock.

Olive still hasn't started her therapy because if she doesn't come home or hide something else it might end up like in the vice president's office last time.
