Chapters 11.Yuna's will and Jihyun's anger

This morning Yonna came to the office early. The Team Leader's room was empty.

" is I too early?" muttered Yonna while sipping the warm coffee she prepared.

He is still checking a document of the history and reputation of the inspector who died while investigating the death of Mr. Kang's wife.

   " His reputation is excellent, !" yunna muttered.

then he intends to meet the inspector's wife, maybe he can get a little hint, and he immediately left.

   Soon some of his colleagues arrived in their rooms, including Jihyun.

Inspector Ahn who saw Yaraa's coffee glass is still warm.

" ei.. today was the morning that Yunna came,!

but where is he? .I just drink this" muttered inspector Ahn as he finished Yonna's coffee .

  Not to forget Jihyun also asked.

"Yunna has arrived? " ask Jihyun.

" it seems to be. But I don't know where she went!" answer Inspector Ahn.

["is it possible that he was angry because of last night?"] jihyun muttered in his heart.

Jihyun opened the map.

" what's he looking at this inspector's documents for"?

" What's the lieutenant,?" ask Inspector Ahn who also saw the document.

" Aren't they inspectors? the one who died from the overdose was,..heuhh, what would he get with this document, that little girl!" murmuring inspection Ahn.

" if he comes tell him to meet me in my room!" jihyun ordered while carrying the map.

" ready Lieutenant !" reply Inspector Ahn.

   Arriving at the room Jihyun opened her phone, and almost pressed Yonna's number.

" What should I say after calling her?

um... !" I'm sorry yunna!"

aaah... Why am I apologizing ? I am not wrong. ! or just like this ;

"are you okay?" haiisst what's wrong with me.!" (Jihyun also speaks for himself).

He felt a little unwell for his rejection last night, but in contrast to Yonna, he who felt relieved because he had expressed his feelings was not too dizzy to think about it. even though he knows he will be very shy and awkward, but he will face it.

    Now that Yunna had arrived at the inspector's house, she knocked on the door several times until a woman opened the door for her .

" Excuse me madam, is this really the home of inspector Go Janhyuk's wife?"ask Yonna.

" So right, I'm the one. And you're this ?" ask the inspector's wife.

" aah..introduce the mistress, I'm Park Yonna !" while showing his identity card.if you don't mind, can we chat for a while?"

    Yunna was invited in, so Yonna asked her husband a few questions before he was found dead.

His wife told him of several things she remembered, including her husband contacting someone through his cell phone call, which she called the commissioner, and hearing that he was going to see her that night, but he did not know exactly what the name of the commissioner was.

that's what she remembers moments before her husband was found dead in his car by the river.

" Didn't anyone investigate the death of your husband's mistress ,?"  ask Yonna.

" of course, there was, when my husband was found lifeless in his car, there was a liquor bottle. At first they thought my husband was killed because of a mixture of the two items, but after the doctor performed an autopsy , he said there was no alcohol in his body.

his partner also suspects that this is a murder case, but, considering that two days before his partner was killed they had just conducted a routine medical checkup that included a program from the police agency every six months to ensure all police members were free of drugs.

but not yet a week, the case was suddenly closed, and they stated that my husband was purely overdosed on drugs, because of the injection scar found in his right arm .

and what makes me feel strange is, my husband is not left-handed. shouldn't he inject it in the left arm? " he told Yonna.

[[could it be that they deliberately covered up the murder case?" ]inner Yonna.

   Then the inspector's wife also showed the cell phone belonging to her late husband which she kept as one in a box of other goods belonging to her husband.

Yunna also saw one of the outgoing call numbers that was familiar to her, then she pressed the number and the name of Commissioner Oh Namgil contact appeared on her phone.

Yonna's eyes were wide, too,

" maybe... ?" inner Yunna guess .

He immediately returned to his office.

    After a few minutes he arrived at the office, but he was surprised by the arrival of his mother who brought a lot of food for the staff there. at that time they were enjoying the lunch that Yunna's mother had prepared, and Jihyun was no exception.

" mom deliberately cooked a lot of good food for your colleagues and seniors because today is not your birthday, did you forget?" said his mother .

" Is it true …? I forgot !" yaraa reply.

" houh this child, let's eat !" mother's orders.

" because Yunna has come, let's toast to her...! " said one of his seniors .

" happy birthday Yonna....!"

say everyone in the room.

except for Jihyun, he only raised his glass to raise his eyebrows when he looked at Yonna.

And Yonna returned with a smile for a moment and turned her eyes away, because Yonna had returned, so her mother immediately said goodbye to them.

" is mom going straight home?"

" no... I want to stop by the hospital to consult again "the mother replied.

" Don't just some mothers eat the medicine, it's for two months ma'am !" yunna Sahut .

" then just change the doctor as I said yesterday, I don't want you to keep in touch with Doctor Oh Yunmi!" namel Yunna was upset and worried .

Jihyun who heard that also then replied to their conversation.

"Why... ? why did you forbid aunty to check on her ?" jihyun asked curiously.

" It's okay, 'cause I think there's still a lot of doctors there that my mom's seeing.!

yunna replied with a sharp look at Jihyun.

" all right... I'll follow what you said, then eat, I'll go first!" pamit Yunna's mother.

" Be careful in the path of Bi... !" jihyun said as he waved his hand.

" Come to my room now!" jihyun's orders to Yunna.

Yonna immediately followed him with a look of annoyance when discussing Oh Yunmi. Not because of jealousy, but because of his suspicion about Oh Yunmi's involvement in the case.

Upon reaching the room, Jihyun throws a document belonging to inspector Go that Jihyun took from Yonna's desk.

" what is that...? why did you study those documents? instead of focusing on our tasks, you're wasting your time . !" cycad jihyun

" I'm sorry lieutenant, there's just something I need to know from there !" answer Yonna.

" What ... !"

" Sorry lieutenant...! I can't explain it yet. I promise you, soon I'll tell you !"

" what ... ? listen inspector park, we're a team, no one can be covered. say now!

and one more thing, why are you upset when your mother is about to check herself out on Oh Yunmi? " ask Jihyun.

But Yaraa did not answer him immediately, making Jihyun upset.

" Why are you quiet ? answer... !" yelled Jihyun until heard by her colleagues outside .

" Hear park Yunna...! I know you're upset that I turned you down last night, but I beg you not to take personal matters to this place, you understand?"

" I suspect it... ! answer Yonna

" what do you mean, who do you suspect?" jihyun asked curiously.

" I suspect Doctor Oh Yunmi is involved in this case, also in the murder of inspector Go . !" yunna replied which made Jihyun surprised and did not accept.

" Hey ... on what basis do you suspect it? is it because I turned you down so much that you hated the woman I loved?"

" I'm sorry lieutenant. I don't mix my personal issues with this case.

I suspect it because I have a lead, and if I give you a clue, do you want to continue the case? I'm not sure.! " yonna said boldly, making Jihyun even more angry.

" inspector Park, .. since when did you dare to underestimate me?"

"i don't underestimate you Lieutenant Kim. I'm just telling you the truth!"

" can you prove it? what if your suspicions are wrong?" jihyun asked.

" if my suspicions are not proven, I will resign!" Yonna replied firmly.

The two of them are now looking at each other, but not the gaze of love, but the sharp gaze that draws each other.
