Mami Has Died

One message from Jovita made Minerva not close her eyes.

Minerva was shocked after reading a message from Jovita. He immediately asked where Jovita was. Twice Minerva called Jovita, unfortunately there was no answer at all.

Time has shown ten o'clock at night and Minerva is still awake while waiting for a reply message from Jovita.

^^^I'm still at Gezond Hospital with papi. Mami's body was just bathed.^^^

Seeing the reply from Jovita, Minerva immediately took her jacket and bag. Without a second thought, Minerva was getting ready to head to the hospital.

Just as Minerva came out of her apartment, she passed Dwayne who had also just come out of her apartment because it was very difficult to close her eyes.

"Where are you going these nights?" dwayne asked to see Minerva wearing a jacket and carrying her bag.

"Gezond Hospital, my mother died" Minerva replied with a face that was difficult to interpret.

Minerva herself does not know how she feels when she finds out that Mami Peny passed away. Especially considering that Mami Peny always acts evil to her.

"Wait, let me drop you off" said Dwayne, who returned to his apartment to retrieve the car keys.

Minerva did not prevent Dwayne who wanted to drive her because she currently needed accommodation to go to the hospital. Minerva could have booked a taxi, but she thought it would be faster to get there if Dwayne had delivered it.

Both of them are in the elevator. Dwayne looked towards Minerva who looked not too sad. She knows exactly who Minerva is referring to. Although he spent a long time abroad, but he did not forget everything related to Minerva.

"Are you sad?" Dwayne asked Minerva.

"Okay, I don't know how I feel right now. I called him Mami, but he never considered me his son because I wasn't his. Funny thing, isn't it?" timpal Minerva at length.

"Ups, sorry Sir. I shouldn't have said that. Thank you for taking me to the hospital."

Dwayne was bumbling when Minerva said that. There was a feeling of resentment in him when he found Minerva calling him Master.

"No need to be confused. I'm only repaying your kindness for helping Yolanda." replied Dwayne.

Minerva looked directly at Dwayne and this time Dwayne was wrongly looked at by Minerva.

"You must have special feelings for Yolanda." guess Minerva.

"Haaaah, how can you think of it that way?" dwayne asked irritatedly and immediately threw away his face.

"You proved to be kind to me because I helped Yolanda" Minerva said, and now the elevator doors were open.

Dwayne ignored Minerva's words and walked straight to the parking lot to pick up his car. Minerva asked him to wait in the lobby.

The two were both silent as the car split the road leading to the hospital. Dwayne drives a car while condemning his folly of saying that he did this because it returned Minerva's kindness. I don't know why he used to lie to himself when he was with Minerva.

"Minerva, what's your connection to Austin?" dwayne asked, breaking the silence.

"Relationship?" Minerva repeated Dwayne's question. "What relationship do you mean, sir?" Minerva asked Dwayne.

"You're being asked back and forth." Dwayne's voice began to sound annoyed. "I saw you so close to her, I even saw you two holding hands."

"What's your Austin lover?" now Dwayne asks directly on the point.

"I just arrived here after eight more years of not stepping on this country. I have some memories here of one of them, Sis Austin, who suddenly met me while I was booking a room at the Bee hotel."

"Sister Austin is now very different to eight years ago. He looks very humble and nice. His attitude this time reminded me of someone I used to be close to. His name is Kak Emir." said Minerva and Dwayne immediately coughing when he heard his name coming out of Minerva's lips.

"Are you all right, sir? You're like choking when you're not eating or drinking in the least." Minerva patted Dwayne's arm to relieve his cough a little.

Dwayne looked towards Minerva's hand that was stuck to his arm. "Upz, sorry. I didn't mean anything, sir." Minerva immediately moved her hand away from Dwayne's arm.

"Sir Emir?" dwayne and Minerva nodded their heads.

"So where he is now. I once asked Kak Emir about Kak Austin."

"Then, what's Austin's answer?" cut Dwayne wondering what Austin told Minerva about him.

"I was just asking if he had ever met Emir. Answer, yes. Unfortunately, Emir and Kak Austin did not get along very well because of the incident eight years ago" explained Minerva.

"Did you miss your Emir's brother, Minerva?"

"of course. I even really wanted to meet him. Unfortunately I can't keep asking Sis Austin for help to bring me to meet him because he's so busy at the moment."

"You know for yourself it's not that Director Lilies is his cousin and is being held by the police."

Dwayne just nodded his head. Now they are not continuing their conversation because Austin's car has arrived at Gezond's hospital.

Dwayne immediately invited Minerva through the West door and headed to the burial place because he believed Mami's body meant Minerva must be there.

Sure enough, Jovita was seen sitting while looking down beside Papi Aris.

"Jovita!" call Minerva.

Jovita immediately raised his head and burst into Minerva's arms very tightly.

"Sorry Mami yes, please forgive Mami." isak Jovita and Minerva rubbed Jovita's back to calm her down.

"Yes, Jo. You are patient."

Jovita immediately let go of his embrace and now Minerva found Aris's papi. Papi Aris immediately hugged Minerva very tightly.

"Bapi is so grateful you're still alive Minerva. Papi was very upset when he heard that you were missing because of the explosion of the jet ski that you were riding. Papi thought we'd never see each other again like this, Minerva."

"I'm fine, Pi." Minerva let go of his embrace and sat down between Papi Aris and Jovita.

While Dwayne chose to leave the room to give Minerva time to meet with Jovita and Papi Aris.

"I'm sorry Mommy, Minerva. He switched the statute of all your possessions to Mami's. I was already against Mami back then, but Mami never paid any heed to me."

"Mami re-joined her social friends and slowly Mami sold one by one her jewelry assets just for the sake of being able to get together with her friends."

"Although Mami works, but the results do not meet our daily needs. Right when I graduated High School, the treasure we have is only home because all the goods in the house have been sold by Mami."

Soon, Mami Peny's body was washed and Tim from the hospital was ready to bury her tonight.
