Chapter 56. Chasing Mateo

Mateo bearer Ruve to his hiding place. Bymaba Village. Gen Village. Village of forest snakes.

"This is dear" Mateo called Ruve who stood up with a blank look. He took a step towards Mateo's place. Mateo pulled Ruve to sit on her lap. They were in the dining room of a large house surrounded by dense forest.

They have a safe house belonging to the Mateo family in the village of Bymaba. In the middle of a secret forest. A forest that is rarely entered by villagers. Because it is dangerous.

It was just fake news spread by the Mateo family so that no villagers approached their territory. Yes it is dangerous that anyone who enters it will never return. Mateo's family will kill him.

Ruve was wearing a long dangling dress. With beautiful mane. Mateo stroked Ruve's beautiful hair. The corner of his lips lifted. He tilted his head slowly staring at the window of the room sharply.

"He welcomes Mr's guest" Los came down from upstairs. Two servants opened the door. There's a group of Phoenix Way warriors.

Black shadows jumped from one tree to another. And a few other black shadows followed behind him. They're darting nimble.

From the darting black shadow one of them deflected away, he took another route.

And there was one shadow behind them. He passed through several other black shadows, he was already side by side with the front black shadow.

"Elves, hurry up and you're chasing us" Berus said hello to Elves who was next to him matching his speed.

"Is he okay?" Berus glanced at Gen who was stoned on Elves' back. It's a journey. Elves is so tight.

"I'm fine!" The Gen Whisper raised his hand slowly.

"This" Brush threw the Earphones at Elves.

"Wear" Elves caught the little thing. Staring at that thing and then sticking it to his ears.

"Stop!" Berus' orders, Elves, stop. They're down.

"What's wrong" Orso, stepping closer, behind Orso was Leonard.

"Shield" Brush forward a meter in front of him. He pulled out the goggles and the goggles lit up.

The light from the Brush goggles could see the shield that was in front of them. They wait. Berus was researching how to penetrate this shield, he guessed they had found Mateo's hideout.

"You okay here?" Elves says. He took down Gen and leaned against a tree not far from his shield. Gen raised his thumb.

"Try drinking this" Leonard gave a capsule to Gen's palm. "Thank you" Gen directly swallowed the capsule.

"Just destroy it" Berus took off his googles. Orso pointed his laser weapon at that shield,

DOOM UP!

Explosion sounded. The shield was shattered and lost in the wind, They could see it, a magnificent mansion in front of them.

"We're in" Brush said.

"Heart" he continued. Which is owned by its members.

"I'm here, I'll catch up" Elves nodded and followed the Phoenix Way into the mansion. They found someone standing guard at the door of the mansion.

The Phoenix Way warriors were already on guard to hold their respective weapons. With the movement of his hand Brush as well as the movement of his head, he gave the code to others not to need to take out weapons, not yet.

"Welcome to the Secret Forest, Please Sir" The man in full suit. The black color shows the way.

Brush and the others followed. With a high level of alertness. The big, thick door opened.

In front of him was a target they were chasing. Mateo, Los and Ruve.

"Welcome to our house" Mayeo embraces Ruve's body and kisses Ruve's temple.

It was eager for Elves to come forward and grab the woman. But Orso got in the way with his hands. Elves glanced with a hardened face.

"You give up" Berus took out his handcuffs. "Rush up? I didn't do anything? Just taking my life partner. It's a pity" Ruve simply nodded.

Elves can't take it anymore. He stepped quickly towards Ruve. Ruve turned her head she felt danger.

Ruve took out a chain on her fingers and aimed at Elves. The chain swerved and headed towards Elves quickly then smashed into the man's chest.

Elves bounced. He hit the end of the door. He stumbled hard. Elves held onto her painful chest, she looked at Ruve in disbelief.

"Ahahaha my dear, you protect me, come here!" Ruve entered in Mateo's arms. "Rive!" Call Elves.

Ruve just looked and stared at the empty Elves. "He's not Ruve!" Shouted loudly Elves.

"True, he's Ruvera my future escort!" Mateo gave the code through his eyes to his soldiers hidden in the upper corners of the house.

A bow of arrows from above them. Mateo pulled Ruve inside. Elves chased after him and Los blocked Elves' move.

He swung his sword at Elves. With an agile gesture Leonard fended off Los's sword.

"Pursue Ruve!" Leonard. Elves nodded as he entered the place where Ruve and Mateo had left.

Brush following. The sounds of swords clashed against each other in the front room. They're down the dimly lit aisle. Long without another room.

"It's a waste of time." Berus wore his goggles that he had just used to look at the shield.

Brush stop. "Retreat!" His order. Elves retreated, three steps back.

Brush out shaped pistol with small size. He pointed the gun at the wall to his left. He backed off and aimed his gun.

DOR'S!

Bullets pierced through wall after wall that formed a labyrinth towards where Ruve and Mateo ran.

"Argh" the bullet went through the chest of the soldier Mateo who was following him. He's tumbling. Ruve stopped running. He turned around to see the soldier. His hand was pulled by Mateo.

"Don't, we gotta hurry!" Mateo ran back with Ruve's hand. Ruve lifted her dress she followed Mateo's orders.

Ruve was under the influence of the medicine she drank during the party. Los managed to put it on Ruve's drink. The potion he made. A potion that can make a person obey.

"Who is this?" A heavy sound was heard from the top of the tree that Gen was straddling. His body is still not good. Leonard's drug is at work.

The man suddenly stood in front of him. His teeth are sharp and pointed. Gen looked up. Siaal! Its meaning. It's not ready yet.

"You should also come inside, we're not this cruel to our guests. Letting our guests sleep in the forest" he said, as if friendly.

"But it seems like the other guests are busy messing up so don't rule out the possibility that you are also a troublemaker?" 

"It's a pity I don't like vandals!" Findel gripped Lehee Gen tightly, the impromptu attack made Gen have difficulty breathing.

From behind Findel gets an attack from Simba who turns out to follow Findel. He pulled his clothes behind him and slammed Findel's body into the Tree.

Findel. Didn't think there would be an attack coming at him. Findel. Then he got up and hit Simba. His sharp nails prepare to tear Simba's body.

He attacks Simba relentlessly, moving his hands to claw at Simba's body. Simba sniffed in a backward way. Simba's back hit a tree behind him.

Findel grinned. And his nails got longer ready to take Simba's heart.

Gen swung the sword he gave magic. Findel sensed the attack behind him jump a distance of five steps. Findel is back attacking Gen. His feet ran and climbed the rocks. It lunged at Gen from above.

But Simba's fist struck Findel's heart, his body drifting away and crashing into the trees.

"I'll get him done, you help the inside" Gen moved his head to agree. Gen left Findel for Simba.
