Therefore, Allah SWT denied the phenomenon of worship of the sun and moon. But what is unfortunate is that the kufur faith is widely embraced by the "great nations" in the world since centuries ago, as in some Chinese, Japanese, Greek, and many more.

Allah SWT said: "And among the signs of His dominion are night, day, sun and moon. Do not prostrate yourself (worship) the sun or the moon, but prostrate yourself to God who created it, if you worship Him alone." (Filat: 37)

The Shari'a of Islam, handed down by the Ruler of the Universe, provides guidance and enlightenment to the narrow and limited minds of men. People think eclipses are a miracle or a sign of the sun. After the eclipse prayer, the Prophet explained it had nothing to do with one's death: Here is a summary of Shahih Bukhari:

Abu Bakrah said, "We were at the side of the Prophet and there was a solar eclipse. So the Prophet stood with his shawl (in one account: his clothes in haste (surah 7/verse 34)) until he entered the mosque, (and the people made haste there (surah 2/verse 31)), and we entered. Then he prayed two rakaats with us until the sun became clear. He came to us and said, 'The sun and the moon are two signs of Allah's power, and they are not eclipses (surah 2/verse 31) because of the death of a person. Abu Mas'ud said, "The Prophet said, 'The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of his death (and his life (surah 4/verse 76)). But both are two signs of the greatness of God. When you see it, then stand up to perform the eclipse prayer."

Al-Mughirah bin Shahabah said, "There was a solar eclipse at the time of the Prophet on the day of Ibrahim's death. People say, 'The sun eclipsed because of Ibrahim's death.' Then the Prophet said, 'Truly the sun and the moon (are two signs of the greatness of Allah (surah 2/verse 30))."Both do not eclipse because of a person's death or life. When you see it, pray (grahana) and pray to Allah until it becomes bright again.'' Abiyan explained in detail
