After saying goodbye, we pointed our feet and suitcases out of the house Auntie Dita with a feeling of sadness. This is because, we are reminded of the treatment of Aunt Dita to us which is so amazingly good.
Even if I succeed later, I will definitely never forget the services of Aunt Dita to me.
At exactly three in the afternoon we glided to a new boarding place by taxi. Arriving at Highway X, we finally got off. The problem is, the road to boarding can not be passed by 4-wheeled vehicles.
We finally walked down the alley to our new boarding house. It's not too far from the highway. About 80 meters at most. For just information, the boarding building we will inhabit does look old or old.
However, we chose this boarding place because it was suitable for us. In addition to cheap prices, a quiet atmosphere, and cleanliness is maintained.
Trek... Trek... Trek...
"Assalamu'alaikum" Santi said as he tapped on the green-painted iron door fence with a padlock hanging from his lockdown slot.
"Wa'alaikumsalam" replied a mother who had just come out of the boarding building and walked a little staggered as she approached us.
"Yes, how can I help you?"
"We want to post here. Yesterday I said to Ms. Linda" I said.
"This is Neng Santi's tea with Neng Mira?" the mothers said while trying to unlock the gate lock.
"Yes mom, do you know our names?" my answer.
"Let's enter. Miss Linda told me yesterday about aunt. Introduce, aunt Asih's name. Aunty who cleans here every day" he said. We nodded while throwing a smile.
Bi Asih then took us to the main room of the boarding building. He then invited us to sit in the guest chair. Bi Asih then asked permission to go to the kitchen first.
"Wait a long time, aunt to the kitchen first. Please sit down" he said. "Good bi" I replied.
Immediately aunt turned towards the kitchen. I also opened a chat to Santi about my enthusiasm to be able to stay in this place.
"Enak ya Ti, the house is comfortable. It's quiet and not noisy"
"Yes Mir. The cool weather here is not much different from bogor" said Santi laughing.
Not so long ago, Bi Asih then returned with two glasses of unsalted tea in both hands.
"It's neng, drink first"
"Thank you bi. Don't bother though" replied Santi.
"No. Just water anyway. Neng Santi and Neng Mira came from where if I could tell?"
"From Bogor bi. If Bi Asih?" my many.
...---oOo---...
After making small talk, we finally gave Bi Asih permission to enter the room. Before our steps reached the stairs, Bi Asih told us not to go out as often as possible at night. Because in Bandung there are many street crimes.
"Yes Bi. We don't like going out at night either" I said.
The boarding building we occupy is indeed a fairly large house. In this house, there are 10 boarding rooms. 4 rooms are on the first floor and the rest are on the second floor.
Each room is equipped with a mattress, cupboard, and study table. The bathroom is also inside. Quite cheap with a price range of 500 thousand per month.
Santi and I faced each other. We also cleaned up our stuff after entering the room.
"Thank God I can get tea like this Ti. Comfortable, cheap, complete pisan anyway"
"Don't yell at Mir. Not good with the next room neighbor" said Santi reminded.
"Sorry atuh. If I speak slowly, where might be the same surprise as you" I said as I approached Santi in his room.
In his room, Santi was watching a lot of writing on the walls of the room using a pen. He read one by one the handwriting.
"Here you read, Mir. This is all curhatan's writing. I think the occupants of the boarding house here were once heartbroken" said Santi with a laugh.
"Lucky well, we never fell in love. So don't know what it's like to have a broken heart" I replied laughing.
"Yes Mir. Can you please ask for it in repaint? It's gonna get dirty"
"Try telling Bi Asih"
Santi and I also accelerated the activity of cleaning the room. Because soon it will be dark. Plus we also had to find food for dinner, because our stomachs were already rumbling.
Azan Maghrib. It just so happened that Santi and I had finished cleaning up the room. We also took a shower to be able to immediately perform prayers. Just getting dressed, Santi knocked on my door.
"The mir... Mir... Not finished yet?"
"Udah, why?" ask me while opening the door for Santi.
"She said she wanted to pray together. I'm waiting in the room"
"Yes, I'll take the mukena first"
I was amazed by Santi's invitation. Though I never felt that I would invite Santi to pray together. Maybe I forgot? It's probable.
