Academy Classics: Day One: The Bond of the Dark Girl

Tuesday, 2 Ucheryc 1464, the second day, the students of the academy wandered the hallway. They took a short break after being in class for a long time.

The academy's red black vests covered the white uniforms they were wearing. The uniform was worn for two days and today is the day to wear that uniform.

At 11:56, the lesson is almost over. Only 2 materials delivered during the day. After the first material, a break bell bell rang and they were able to get out of the classroom then eat in the cafeteria, go to the library, and sit in the garden.

The teacher who taught the class ended with a heavy breath. His body was drained enough to make a sound and write on the blackboard.

"OKAY. The kids! Today's lesson is over. Keep your books and ink! You can go home now!"

They were happy after class ended. The students rushed back to their apartments.

Most of the disciples of the Spyxtria Academy lived in apartments. The academy did not provide dormitories like the previous academy. They gave money to the students.

550 Aegis was enough to finance their lives in the capital. The nobles could spend 770 Aegis as they earned a salary of almost 1000 Aegis.

After the teacher left the classroom, there was a sky blue hair girl in two with some books being carried quite heavily.

The bleak situation. It is not cared about in the surrounding environment. His eyes were dull and seemed to shy away from others.

He waited for a while before leaving the academy surroundings and shutting himself down. If it's quiet, he'll leave the classroom.

Meanwhile, Evelyn and I plan to go home together again. However, I still have business in this academy, which is to take monthly money every 2nd. So Evelyn came home first.

I left the bench and rushed home. He reached into his small pocket and picked up a small book then read casually.

However, since I did not look around, a girl bumped into me from the side. That weak body crashed onto the academy floor.

The accident happened in the classroom. The thick book fell out. He screams in pain. I felt that collision. With sympathy, I closed my little book and turned to the girl.

"Are you okay?!"

"...." - ".He didn't answer. Those gloomy eyes were fixed on the thick book.

"Are you hurt?"

"No! I'm fine."

The girl reflexively picked up the scattered book. However, I took the book and read it with a glance.

"What's this?" I read a few words in the cover book.

"That's ...." He was silent for a moment.

"Hm? Did you read this heavy book? It's an encyclopedia, you know." I showed him the book he read.

"No! Nay! Returned book! I'm doing fine. Don't worry about me!" The girl is stubborn.

"It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you. If you need to, I'll help you. You can't take all those books alone."

"At least, .. You need someone else's help." I took the thick book from his hand to lighten his load.

He's a little guilty. The light weight makes it useless. Maybe he became gloomy because he felt burdened.

"Oh yes. I want to take the monthly money first in the clerical room. If you don't mind, come with me! I'm not gonna hurt you!" I took the book and left class.

Forcibly, the girl approached me and watched me intensively. We walked on both sides. No one precedes. Just a straight forward look. That's all I can do.

The administrative room, the room that takes care of the administration of the academy. The disciples flocked there to take their monthly money. Now, the money is getting quieter and longer.

Shortly after, we arrived at the ordinance room and went inside.  Without further ado, I told her to give us some monthly money.

"Rivandy Lex's. Aurora Sentinels." That job called our names.

"Oh. Apparently you're here. You guys want to take the monthly money, don't you?"The manager greeted us kindly.

How strange. We even get hospitality from the management of the business.  I have a strange feeling about the hospitality of that manager. But, I chose to go home soon.

"here she is. Aegis 550. You too, Miss Sweet!" He gave us a bunch of paper money.

We took quite a doubt. It's a little bigger.

"Thank you, sir! I'll go first."

We don't talk though.  Our eyeballs are just straight forward, not veering. After leaving the academy, we kept our distance because he was a bit afraid of me.

In the middle of the journey, Aurora was behind me. He's walking quite slowly. I don't know where he lives. So, I turned around and asked him.

"Moor." Called him.

"..."

"I want to know where your apartment is. Please show me your apartment!" I begged him.

"Ms." He took it for granted despite showing a gloomy face.

Talk ceased. No topic to be submitted. I've never been in contact with a girl like this. The girl was gloomy by carrying some of the burdens she carried.

"Biological Encyclopedia. Maybe, I should look for it in the library." I looked at the book he was carrying.

Encyclopedia of Biology of the Academy of Spyxtria, books available in the library of the academy. There are 10 complete books with every 1 book giving 300 pages. This book should not be borrowed.

After arriving at a place, he stopped his steps.My eyeballs widened slowly. A place he lived in was a place I knew.

"Wait on! This is my apartment too. Let's not let the place be next to me. It's probable. I want to see it." In my heart, I thought something.

So, I followed Aurora in front of me. After arriving at his apartment, we stopped our steps. The apartment next to me is 303.

"This. I gave you 8ni."

Aurora took it for granted. It feels like saying thank you. But, can't "Thank you. I ... promised not to incriminate you again."

"Don't think like that!"

"Listen to me! You're scared of me because you think I'm gonna hurt you. Throw away that thought and smile! That smile makes you better." I gave her advice and left her.

"...." - ".Aurora was silent. He entered his apartment with a thick book in his hand.

The next day, I was ready to go to the academy. Uniforms, supplies, and others are ticked. As soon as I opened the door and exited, Aurora was already in front of me. Still grim, no different from yesterday.

"Ano. I'm waiting for you."

"It's okay. Comeing! We're leaving together."

We rushed out of the apartment. There was no talk because we were still not familiar with each other.

On the way, a girl came up to me while hugging me. The hug was remembered by the headmaster.

"Rivandy!" He then hugged me from the front.

"..." - ".I didn't return Evelyn's embrace.

"Rivandy. I have something, desu. E .to .. Anone. I saw ..."

Evelyn glanced at the girl next to me. Her face was cute yet with a gloomy atmosphere. Evelyn's curiosity was big enough to know the figure beside me. So, he met her and got acquainted.

"Hello. I'm Evelyn desu. You're so cute, desu."

"I'm Aurora. Hello to you."

"Aurora! Cute name, desu! I got something for you. Comeing! We're going to the academy right now!" Evelyn held Aurora's hand and left me alone.

They are quite familiar because they understand each other. Aurora begins to dispel her gloom and begins to smile due to Evelyn's naive behavior.

They enjoyed the moment so much that they left me behind. I chased them too fast. So fast, I can't reach it.

As soon as I reached the academy gate, I saw Evelyn crying out loud. He thought I was kidnapped.

"Basic stupid! You left me and assumed I was kidnapped!" I scolded Evelyn who was holding me.

From then on, Aurora laughed for the first time, turning into a sweet girl.
