The Secret of Complicated Love
Reo looked at Anna with longing and love. "Anna, how much I miss you. When can we be like another couple?"
Anna smiled shyly, but she also looked down miserably. "I miss you too, Reo. But we have to be careful."
"Yes, I know. Your father still has a bad look at me." Reo knew his position.
Reo and Anna meet after a long separation. Anna, a beautiful girl, is Reo's childhood friend who used to be famous for his standing as the son of the richest man in their area. However, his fame made Anna look arrogant, and it created a barrier between the two of them as well as her other friends.
However, when they meet again, the two discover that they still have strong feelings for each other. Despite their love for each other, they choose to have a secret relationship. This is due to Anna's fear of her father who has a reputation as a leech.
Previously, Anna's father had experienced problems with Reo due to Reo's mother's debt. This creates tension between their families. However, despite such past conflicts, the love between Reo and Anna is undeniable.
Their current situation became complicated and filled with challenges. Anna has to keep their relationship a secret so that her father doesn't find out. He worries that if his father finds out about their relationship, it could threaten their safety and happiness.
"Yes, he never forgot your mother's debt. He's very hard on you. Forgive my father."
Reo smiled and shook his head. "But that's the past, Anna. We can't let that ruin our relationship."
Anna nodded in agreement to hear Reo say about their family matters.
"I agree. We have to be together, even though we have to hide all this first. W-but, when, Reo?" ask Anna who started to tear up.
Reo and Anna go to great lengths to maintain their love, all the while trying to overcome obstacles. They have to hide their meetings, communicate secretly, and engage their closest friends as accomplices to help keep this a secret.
The atmosphere of their relationship became tense and risky for both sides. However, their deep love motivates them to keep fighting and facing these challenges. They hope that one day they can live freely and happily without any pressure from family background or fear of Anna's father's reaction.
Neither Anna nor her father, Hendrix, ever knew who Reo was, and now he was, a world-class billionaire.
"I promise I will always protect you and keep this a secret. We can do it together. If it's time, I'll come to propose you home. Meet your father."
Anna holds Reo's hand tightly, hoping their relationship will last and Reo keeps his promise.
"Thank you, Reo. I can't imagine life without you."
Reo squeezed Anna's fingers gently. "I can't live without you either, Anna. We'll face this obstacle together."
The two of them smiled happily, with their hands still clasping each other. They always present moments of meetings like this.
"Oh yeah, is there a girl approaching you?" ask Anna to find out.
"Why?" ask Reo plain. "Are you jealous?" ask Reo again.
Reo does not know what Anna's question means, other than to think that her lover is jealous if another girl approaches him.
"Sorry, sweetheart. I, I mean I asked my friend yesterday to keep an eye on you. Hihihi. sorry yes, I didn't tell you in advance. She is Ani."
Reo frowned at the answer Anna gave. Fortunately Anna immediately gave an explanation so that Reo understood the meaning of her lover's question earlier.
"But are you not interested in him?" asked Anna.
Anna was of course worried, afraid that the answer given by Reo just to cover something.
"I've never dealt with anyone, especially a girl, in particular."
Hearing Reo's explanation, even though it was only brief, Anna smiled happily then nodded her head. He knew, because Ani had also told him that Reo was difficult to approach. Anna believes that Reo is her loyal lover.
"Thank you, baby. You still take care of and care for our love."
Reo grabbed Anna's hand again, then kissed her gently on the back of the hand.
"I've never thought of anyone but you, baby. There is no need for anyone else you ask to do the same as Ani did. It only makes trouble, if until I or Ani really fall in love."
Anna's face changed. He feels guilty for what he did.
"Sorry, sweetheart. My, I just want to make sure. And I believe, you were indeed loyal after Ani gave me a report. Sorry, huh?"
Reo nodded and smiled at his lover's apology. "I'll take you to see mom when you're ready."
Reo's last words made Anna nervous. She is afraid that her mother Reo is against their relationship. Anna is afraid that Lay, Reo's mother, will disagree because he is Hendrix's son.
Seeing the change in her lover's face, Reo quickly calmed down. "You don't worry, honey. I can't possibly refuse just because you're Hendrix's son."
"My, I..."
"Darling, I'll convince mom. You calm down, huh?"
Anna nodded. He believes that Reo will fight for himself, because Reo is also the one who has helped him change for the better after all the events that happened to them in the past.

Apparently, Ani, Anna's friend likes Reo. Though initially Ani only asked Anna to supervise Reo because their campus is different. But for a long time Ani actually liked Reo.
"How could my heart be this sick seeing the two of them meeting and expressing feelings of love even though it was just passing in front with the eyes?" Ani muttered to herself not far from where Reo and Anna met.
This situation complicated the relationship between Reo, Anna, and Ani. Initially, Anna asks Ani to keep an eye on Reo as they are studying at a different campus. However, over time, Ani falls in love with Reo.
Ani, as a close friend of Anna, feels a dilemma as she realizes her feelings for Reo. On the one hand, he wanted to honor his friendship with Anna and did not want to violate the trust given. However, on the other hand, her feelings of love for Reo are getting stronger and harder to ignore.
"What should I do?"
"Anna, would you hate me if you knew how I felt?"
"I'm sorry, Anna. But, I really love Reo."
