SUDDEN ATTACK OF THE GUARD

With an unsettled heart, Xiao Li said and revealed her true identity.

"Xia Ling's. I don't know what you're gonna think now, after I tell you everything about who I really am." Xiao Ling said, she felt nervous and scared.

But just as he was about to continue his words, the royal guard troops came, making the two of them flinch in shock.

"you guys? What are you guys doing here? How do you know this place?" The prince shouted at the guards who were now surrounding them.

"Sorry Your Majesty, you must return to the palace immediately. His Majesty the Emperor ordered us to pick you up and take you immediately. We hope you can work together." Said the bodyguard, instead of answering a question from the prince.

"I, I don't want to go back to the palace." Hardik Prince when one of the guards pulled his hand.

"If it's like that, we can only take you the rude way." The bodyguards attacked Xia Ling blindly. Due to the number of royal guard troops that were not comparable to him, Xia Ling finally fell down with some severe injuries on her body.

When her vision was clear, she looked around the room, and it turned out that she was already inside her room in the palace.

"Prince, are you conscious?" Young Yeu walked over and sat down beside the prince.

The girl reached for the bowl on the tray that was being held by the waiter. "Prince, this ginseng potion, is able to ease the pain in your body, drink it." His orders, while giving a bowl containing the potion.

"Why do you bother? There are many servants here who can take care of me." Xia Ling asked in a cold tone, while taking the bowl from the girl's hand.

"Only a wife, not an actual wife." The prince exclaimed, he ignored the attention of the girl.

He sank down from his bed. Seen on his face, the man endured the pain all over his body, he went down and stepped towards the pool where he cleaned his body.

"Let me be clear, this marriage is a political marriage, not a real marriage, I accept you because for the sake of the kingdom's survival, not because I like you." Firmly Xia Ling while releasing strands after strands of her clothes.

"I understand the prince, I'm just doing what I do as your future wife."

"Prince, let me help cleanse the body." Young Yeu continued, she helped open the prince's clothes.

"I can do it myself." Xia Ling threw the girl's hand off her shoulder, and stepped into the pool, only bare-chested.

Young Yeu Ar was furious and resentful of receiving harsh treatment from the man, yet he pretended to be weak helpless. In her heart she cursed Xiao Li, the girl her future husband loved.

"I'll make a calculation with you, country girl, look what I'm going to do to you." Inwardly, he revealed a sly smile behind Xia Ling's back.

"Why are you still standing here?" Xia Ling asked without turning her head towards the girl. "There's a waiter helping me." He cried again, when the girl was about to approach him.

While in the room, the prince leaned his back against the pool wall, the servants began rubbing his body with soap and other toiletries.

While the prince was drifting in daydreams, he was thinking about his girl, he did not know how Xiao Li was doing after yesterday's incident in the cave, he and Xiao Li were getting a pounding blow from the bodyguards, he said, they both fell down and were unconscious.

On the other hand, still in the cave in the middle of the lake, the girl hissed in pain, as her body was filled with bruises. He lay unconscious there, while the prince was taken to the palace by the guards. He got up from the cold cave floor, and staggered.

Then the girl took some leaves and medicinal roots. With great effort and withstanding the pain, he tried to make medicine and potions for the wounds on his body.

After some time later, the potions and topical medicines he had made were finished. He drank the potion slowly. While applying the topical medicine for his external wound, there was the sound of someone walking towards him. For a moment he thought, if it was a prince.

"Well, are you aware, village girl?" Excite someone. Xiao Li turned towards the voice.

"You?" Xiao Li was choked when the one he saw was Crown Princess Young Yeu Ar.

"Your Majesty, are you here? What's up?" Ask with a stammer.

"I want to see your condition village girl. oh sorry, I mean Xiao Li." Young Yeu Ar replied, he stepped slowly towards Xiao Li who was still smearing her wound with the medicine he made.

Xiao Li simply fell silent, he did not expect that Xia Ling's fiancee who made a scene yesterday, had both herself and the prince injured.

"Aren't you afraid that your future husband would know what you did yesterday, Princess Young Yeu Ar?" There was a flat voice within Xiao Li's words.

"Prospective husband? If you knew he was my future husband, why are you still approaching him, country girl?" Young Yeu asked back.

"As far as you know, he'll never know if I did it, because soon our marriage will take place, whereas he'll never be able to get out of the palace and see you again. So from now on, you forget about Prince Xia Ling. Because you don't deserve to be his queen at all." You Yeu Ar said at length.

Xiao Li simply fell silent listening to the Crown Princess' words. He didn't want to answer a word.
