Mr. Ronggo looked at me with a smile.
"Rontent Swamp," that was what he said while slowly taking off the mask that had been covering his face.
I was shocked, seeing the face of Mr. Ronggo who was none other than Mang Cipto.
I was astonished, while looking at Mang Cipto who threw his mask on the bushes.
"The Cipto?" I asked to see it.
"Yes, Non. My full name is Ronggo Sucipto and I am Guru Rangga." she explained, I sat on the grass.
Mang Cipto told me everything that happened to me.
He also told me that the figure that once inhabited my body was, The White (Bellin). He looks like the spirit of Aunt Vanessa who floated.
(For details of the story, read my story entitled VANESSA OF THE DARKNESS which is on******).
"Why just now, Mang Cipto told you that?" just pissed.
"Before, I didn't know. Lyli's the one who told you all this!" clearly Mang Cipto while bowing his head.
"So all this time, Aunt Lyli was still alive and led the Black Cempaka? Does he want revenge?" I was a little scared.
"Yes! Lyli restored the conditions and now, it has recruited more members.
Lyli grew stronger, because every night one suro, he sacrificed two girls for Nyai Cempaka Juah." explained Mang Cipto.
"Did Aunt Lyli know your identity, Mang?" ask me while frowning.
"No! All he knew was Ronggo, not Cipto" he explained as he stood from where he was sitting.
"Maybe it's time I gave you your mother's book" he said giving the book he took from a bag he put under a bush.
"What book is this? How come there's no writing?" ask me while sorting out each sheet of the book.
"Sukmo Abiyasa's book" he said glancing with my eyes.
"What's it for?" my question while looking up, glanced at Mang Cipto.
"Someday, you'll know." she ended the conversation.
Why does Mother have such an old book?
This book is pretty old. What is my ancestral relic?
As the sun sank, the sounds of the night animals began to sing.
We started to step foot home.
But I feel like someone is following me from behind.
Out of curiosity, I turned my head and saw a smiling handsome man looking at me.
"Speed up!" exclaim Mang Cipto.
I'm speeding up, until our feet are level.
Occasionally look towards Mang Cipto.
The look on his face changed, shrouded in fear.
I could only stand still and keep moving this leg, all the way to the lip of the road.
"Why stop? Go, continue!" pinta Mang Cipto asked me to walk to the left and continue walking.
Not far away we set foot, there is a winding road.
There, Mang Cipto parked the car and we immediately picked up Keysa, then went home.
On the way after picking up Keysa, I remembered the same book Sukmo Abiyasa suddenly disappeared.
Feeling, I held the book and didn't put it anywhere!
"Mang Cipto, the book is gone!" I said in a whispering voice.
Keysa didn't hear what I said. Because, he was concentrating on memorizing the holy verse of the Koran.
Mang Cipto looked at the mirror in front of the car.
He kept staring at me, saying,
"On your neck!" he said in a whisper.
I don't understand, why did Mang Cipto even answer like that? I'm talking about a lost book!
Did Mang Cipto hear wrong?
Surprised, something was hanging from his neck.
I held it and saw what was between the necks.
Apparently, Sukmo Abiyasa's book is shrunk and covered.
I was not wearing a necklace at all!
The book is smaller like a pendulum, the size of a palm, and there are circular chains making large circles like necklaces.
Actually I want to ask, why Sukmo Abiyasa book can be like this? But, I'm afraid Keysa knows and asks me something I can't answer.
Azan magrib.
The car pulled over, lowering Keysa who wanted to perform worship.
For some reason, my heart has not been knocked and just stayed in the car with Mang Cipto.
Keysa approached the mosque and I started asking about what was making me curious.
"Mang ..." I said.
"The book is fused with you. Perhaps, you are the sole legitimate heir." Mang Cipto said as he lit a cigarette.
"That's Mang Cipto, what?" I was curious while frowning.
"Your mother alone, can't make the book into a necklace and she can't read the book!" reply Mang Cipto dispose of cigarette smoke from behind the window.
"No writing?" I let out a sigh while leaning my back on the car seat.
"There! I'm sure you can definitely see the writing in the book!" he said open the car door and get out.
The afternoon breeze that entered through the window of the car that I opened, made my eyes deflate and breathe through my mouth. I sleep and lay down my body.
"Keysi princess kula, mrikia ...!" (Keysi my son, come here ..!) the sound of grandparents calling, made me immediately sit and look for the source of the voice.
I looked in every direction.
No one was close to the car.
Mang Cipto, was sitting in the front stall of the mosque drinking coffee and chatting with the shop owner.
"Dalem dipunriki!" (I'm here!) the voice was heard again. But still no one.
I went back to the source of the sound.
My eyes were glued to the same figure hiding behind a tree across the street.
Wasn't that the guy from earlier? The grown man I saw leaving the forest!
Why would he be here? And why the hell, follow me?
Actually, I feel familiar with that figure.
As if, ever seen it. But, I don't know where!
"Non, how come you're daydreaming?" reprimand Mang Cipto surprised me. Moreover, only his head was allowed to enter through the car door that was in the driver's section.
Mang Cipto holds a coffee cup and does not go inside.
He looked at me full of probes.
"Well, isn't that person the one who was in the forest when we got home?" I asked while pointing towards the banyan tree across the street.
"What did you say?" Keysi asked and entered, sitting in the front seat as usual.
Mang Cipto's eyes were still probing in the direction I pointed.
He immediately ran towards the stall to put down the coffee glass that he did not drink.
Mang Cipto paid with more money and did not take the change that was being taken the same Mr. shop owner.
Mang Cipto ran towards the car and went straight in, then started the engine and stuck gas.
Why is he scared? Indeed who the man is, to make Mang Cipto run away in the fog.
"Who is that man, Mang?" I put my mouth close to his ear.
"Ba-ba-baby!" said Mang Cipto vibrate his teeth, clenched.
