The Unnecessary Ruckus

"Xiu Ya you've been waiting for everything at the lodging dining table" Xiu Jie said.

Xiu Ya woke up from her sleep, "I understand big brother cousin, I'll catch up." she said a little lazily.

"Well." after that Xiu Jie left from Xiu Ya's room doorstep.

Today Xiu Ya was using a pale red hanfu with hair that was freely stroked. While coming out of the room, Xiu Ya met Xiu Lan.

"ah! Brother! You're not wearing your cape?" xiu Lan asked who saw Xiu Ya in astonishment.

"Is it better to just wear a robe?" ask Xiu Ya. Actually he was a little uncomfortable if he had to take off his robe.

Xiu Lan shook her head quickly, "No! Big sister is prettier like this." she said excitedly.

"I'd better put on my robe again." Xiu Ya returned to her room.

Xiu Lan was about to stop Xiu Ya but couldn't, "Why does big brother like to wear a robe?" grumbled Xiu Lan. Xiu Lan continued to grumble while waiting for Xiu Ya, sometimes Xiu Lan puffed her mouth in annoyance.

Xiu Ya walked out of her room with a black robe attached to her body.

"Come on.." said Xiu Ya. Xiu Ya could understand from Xiu Lan's pouting expression that she wanted me to take off this robe. But this was not the time for Xiu Lan.

"Sorry Lan'er.I promise I won't wear a robe in the hunting contest later" Xiu Ya said.

"really? Alright big brother promised." Xiu Lan said with sparkling eyes. Xiu Lan looked very adorable.

Unlike usual, Xiu Lan would eat together in the dining room. Because Xiu Lan usually ate with Dong Si in Dong Si's room. Dong Si's condition has improved even though he still can't move freely. While descending the stairs, Xiu Ya and Xiu Lan became the center of attention. More precisely they were looking towards Xiu Lan who had an incredible face.

"Hey look at that little girl, is she from a respectable noble family?" said one visitor.

Xiu Ya and Xiu Lan ignored the visitors and looked for Xiu Wang, Xiu Jie, and Feng Shu.

"ah! There's them. Come on, brother." said Xiu Lan.

Xiu Ya did not reply and simply followed Xiu Lan.

"It's a complete mockery." Xiu Ya said, chuckling softly. How not? Only 1 table was filled by the black-robed person. And that's their group.

"Ah.....Lan'er will eat with us? That's great." Xiu Jie said.

"It's good let's eat now" Xiu Wang said.

After a while came a middle-aged man to their table.

"Little girl.." call the middle-aged man.

Xiu Lan turned her head, "Yes?" ask her.

"Why are you with this black-robed man? Aren't you afraid they'll do something bad? Why don't you just join our young master?" her questions continued while pointing at the table occupied by a young man.

The young man who was appointed just smiled.

The other visitors started whispering.

Xiu Lan raised her eyebrows, "What do you mean uncle? They're not other people, they're my brother's sister." explains Xiu Lan.

"Haish, little girls don't lie to us" said the middle-aged man.
