Return: The Dragon Legend

Return: The Dragon Legend
Ch. 70. Journey II

Shou Yan refused to be helped because collecting wood had become his habit while still living alone with Guo An, he picked dry wood and made one

“Tu-tuan Muda, are you sure it's all.?”

“True Young Master, let us help bring him”

The two bodyguards did not want Shou Yan to carry the pile of wood alone. According to them, helping a child has become an obligation for adults

“I told you, I can myself” Shou Yan said as he walked back to the tent with a pile of wood on his shoulders

The two warriors looked at each other before following him from behind “Alright Young Master”

Fan Cou set up a tent by the river, because the night was almost ready sooner than expected and just waited for Shou Yan

Right at sunset, Shou Yan emerged from behind the trees carrying what he had assigned to him

“Sorry waiting for long” Shou Yan lowered the pile of wood then sighed long “It took a long time to collect it” Imbuhnya while wiping the sweat on her forehead

“Itu..”

The atmosphere became silent for a moment after Shou Yan brought him a pile of wood that was twice as big as his size

Moments later appeared the two soldiers present behind him with broken breaths

The head of the army certainly became furious when he saw his best soldiers allow a child who was only seven years old to bear the burden alone“Your eyes.!”

The two soldiers followed the Colonel to stay away for a moment from Fan Cou and his other students

“Stupid you..! letting Young Master carry a pile of wood this big.!?” The colonel who saw the negligence of his soldiers had angered him, especially when they appeared with disordered breath

Shou Yan should have been exhausted from carrying a pile of wood that was almost the size of a full-grown cow, not a warrior who carried nothing but a spear next to his hand

“Sorry Colonel, we have tried to remind Young Master to share the burden on us but.”

“True Colonel, even Young Master ran leaving us behind”

The colonel looked towards Shou Yan and then looked back at the two soldiers before him, the frown on the man's forehead becoming clear

“Do you guys think I'm stupid, ha.!?” He did not believe that soldiers who had trained for years and had a military education background would lie and make excuses to cover up mistakes

“Three months ahead, your salary will I hold”

“Good Colonel” Say both of them in a lethargic tone

Just as the Chief of the Army was about to go on patrol, came someone from behind who apologized to him, he turned his head and found Shou Yan was bowing his head

“Young Master.!?” He requested that Shou Yan raise his face because he thought it was not his fault “Don't embarrass me more than this

Shou Yan only wanted to say if his soldiers had done nothing wrong or lied and he dared to swear he was struck by lightning if he dared to lie

He also said that Elder Fan as well as his other comrades did not mind that much wood

If it hit the two soldiers who arrived last time, it was because he decided to speed up his pace and did not want to take too long in the forest considering the day was getting darker

Hearing an explanation from Shou Yan, the colonel forgave his two soldiers as well as retracted the punishment they should have gotten. Afterwards, the colonel again assigned the two to stand guard first

“Good Colonel.!” Answer them both with passion

Seeing that his superior had left, then the two of them thanked Shou Yan for helping explain the true incident

Shou Yan nodded slowly before helping his companion who was making fire but always failed

“Thankfully the Colonel did not hold our salary”

“That's right. otherwise, my girlfriend will ask to break up for not buying her a gift”

“Ba-good.!”

Fan Cou and his student made a circle with a bonfire in the center, but until now it has not lit up

He always got missions and often slept in inns, so Fan Cou handed over the task of making fire to his students

The other five disciples gave up on making fire, because it was difficult to make fire from wood friction

It was only Bao Yu's turn to still not give up, once in a while he complained but not because of his incompetence but the wood that Shou Yan brought was the reason

Two of his comrades who knew about it, tried to foil his plan but Bao Yu always blocked their intentions

“Sorry senior Bao, the wood I brought is indeed dry and I have chosen it correctly”

Shou Yan thought there was something Bao Yu had planned for him, he saw the other disciple slightly away and did not dare to look at him

He realized that his Senior did not like him but that did not mean he could bully other students or threaten them

Shou Yan took two sticks of wood to make him sparks, he also felt annoyed when his fellow students were oppressed

Bao Yu saw the anger already seen on Shou Yan's face, slowly he retreated while waiting for the appearance of fire and he prepared to throw something

After several attempts with the wood swiping on each other in both hands, Shou Yan saw a thin smoke start to appear

Bao Yu had already prepared the gunpowder to show off before Elder Fan, but when he realized Shou Yan was participating in the Tournament

He decided to give Shou Yan a little lesson in order to be self-conscious and not always look for face in front of the Elders

“Successfully” Shou Yan slowly brought the fire closer to the center of another pile of wood

Bao Yu waited for the right time then sprinkled it

Suddenly the wind came and made the fire bigger, the disciples ran away except for Shou Yan who was still silent

Because in the Fire he saw a burning village, the inhabitants ran to Heaven for help but their cries became a pain

Women and men even had small children, all of whom were killed by a group of people he did not know

While trying to focus on one of the men leading the attack, he felt his face getting hotter

“Young Master..? Young Master.!?”

The shout that Shou Yan heard resuscitated him from the reverie, along with which his face almost entered into the flames and with a flash he used the seventh Dragon footprint

Chi energy flowed into Shou Yan's palm and made a whirlwind

The flame fused with the wind created by Shou Yan then instantly turned into a Fire Dragon that pointed towards the Sky before finally disappearing into small sparks

All eyes were on the Fire Dragon before finally looking towards Shou Yan

After seeing Shou Yan do such an amazing thing, then Fan Cou remembered a sentence that Guo An had said a while ago

“The Return of the Dragon Legend"
