Respect Movement
Demonstrations

Hundreds of students protested in front of the rectorate building. The field coordinator (Korlap) revealed before the masses that the scholarship from the government was addressed to outstanding students “dikorupsi” campus party. He shouted in a loud voice while raising his hand. They started burning old tires. Smoke rises into space. A strapping, long-haired corlap tied with her ribbon was constantly squawking for the Rectorate to come out of his room. They together sing the song “pak tani”. “Life Students!,” Excitement korlap out loud, “Life!!” The crowd was immediately greeted with loud. “We ask the Rector to explain to us where the scholarship funds, are not so friends”

he said he used a loudspeaker.

“Betul, benar”, welcome the growing number of students. Several guards stood by in front of the entrance to the rector's room. A moment later the rector and his ranks descended and stood before the masses. The crowd applauded the rector's presence. I watched the rally in front of the law school bureau. All eyes were headed towards them. They lash. Like they're high-achieving students, but they're not!. It was they who often got “jatah” from the rectorate.

“Assalamu’alaikum, Mr. Rector, thank you for his presence in front of us. We apologized before, but whatever we're doing right now is for our friends. We always wonder why scholarship funds from the government directed to students of achievement have not been given?”

The students cheered again because the rector answered too long. Vice-chancellor one and two whispered.

“For a while, please calm down all. All right, I'll answer that question. Previously thank you for the presence of the students and have been willing to reprimand us, reminding us because we did not escape the mistake. That we have not received all scholarships from the government, so that the distribution of scholarships is delayed because the number of students who receive scholarships increases.”

“Friends, we have heard the explanation from the rector, do you accept the answer?”

“No!” The mob answered.

“Pak Rector, sorry our friends are very unacceptable with the explanation of our Rector. I personally don't accept your answer either. We also heard that all scholarships have been awarded to our campus. So when can you channel the scholarship funds?”

“We can't promise when, but we say once again that the news you're hearing isn't true. We will distribute if it has reached us, we try as soon as possible.”

The masses returned. A mob snatched loudspeakers from the korlap, “This campus has dared to lie to its students, its rector as well. The period must wait for all funds collected can only be channeled by the scholarship. The money has already reached the campus. The money has been corrupted!” said it.

“Betul, Right,” welcome mass. A security guard standing next to the rector was about to ambush the person who spoke earlier. However, the rector did not allow it.

Korlap constantly burning the spirit of the masses, “So you are sure that in our campus there is a corrupter?”

“Yakin,” welcome more compact mass.

“Are you sure that on our campus there are mice tie?”he said harder.

“Yakin!!”

Korlap again added the burned tires. The security guards tried to put the tires out. But a mob would not allow it. They exchanged mouths, until finally the inevitable fistfight between the security guard and the masses. Tasteless atmosphere. When the rector was about to go up to his room, a mob pushed him. He also fell. His body was trampled by the masses. The sound of sirens from outside the campus is roaring. Over time the sound entered the campus gate dispersing hundreds of crowds. The security guard immediately fled the Rector to the hospital. His body was covered in footprints in the middle of nowhere. Police personnel immediately jumped from the car, then managed to arrest a mob. They stand guard in the rectorate building area. Security guards who become moons must be taken to the hospital. His face was covered in blood.

Half an hour passed. The normal mood returns. Police took a mob to the police station for questioning. Security guards remain on standby in front of the rectorate. Suddenly some mass again emerged from behind the building. They forced their way into the rectorate chamber. Killing some guards standing guard in front of the rector's room. They managed to get into the rector's room. Ruffled the room of the number one person on campus. They ran out of the room. However, the police personnel turned out to have returned to the campus as soon as possible because someone was told. The crowd who saw the police came immediately scattered. Police chase with mob. The chase until they get into the class. Students in a class. Strong shrieks. The policeman immediately snatched up a mob earlier. They were gathered in front of the rector's building. There were about a dozen captured mobs. They were taken to the police station. Unfortunately, the field coordinator was not arrested.

Both print and electronic media reporters covered the incident. The rector's chamber is like a broken ship. Luckily, the president was taken to the hospital. Students came to see the collapsed rector's room. I ran towards the rector's room. Not one thing was saved. “All at the beginning of corruption”, I murmured in my heart. Faris went inside, he purposely nudged me. I bengong. After I noticed it was Faris.

“You're apparently Ris, I think who!”

“Look, the goods here are all broken!” my spoken.

“This is not how, before they have done more crazy action!”

“When?” manya curious.

“Still remember, two people comatose in the hospital because they were beaten.”

“Remember.”

“You've been from anywhere? New appeared.”

“I from above watched them go on.”

“That place used to be right?”

“Iya, I waited for you above, I thought you would ride.”

“I forgot, even though I want to go there.”

“Tadi, above myself.”

“Still remember, during the first semester you said corruption could destroy everything.”

I thought for a moment.

“I remember.”

“It turns out what you said was true.”

“Iya, I also did not expect it,” I said while shrugging.

“But, are you sure that our Rector is corrupt?” ask Faris.

I'm staring. “I can't answer it yet,” I said

while shaking his head.

“I hope we can together eliminate corruption in this earth.”

Faris was staring at me. “You're serious Galung!”

“Serius Faris, but this is just a dream. There's no way this nation will be corruption-free.”

“Ah, you are not optimistic, I am ready Galung, ready always behind you.”

“It has been almost two years the scholarship funds were not given to outstanding students, the possibility of alleged corruption of the rector is true.”

“Two years, very long. How much money?”

“They said hundreds of millions.”

“Hundreds of million, wow!” I shrugged my shoulders.

“But, there can be no recriminations, there must be strong hills-proof if you want to imprison the rector. They've reported to the prosecutor?”

“Indeed there should be two new proof tools can, I don't know about it.”

“We'll see just this month, how it goes.”

“Galung, remember yesterday?” Faris hit me on the shoulder.

“What?”

I scrunched my forehead.

“You must have forgotten!”

“What's it?” I seriously asked.

“About the fishing grandmothers and grandfathers, they overslept and the big fish ate it.”

“You could be Faris,” I said while laughing.

For a moment I closed my eyes, “About Polygamy right, why?” I said while opening my eyes.

“Nothing Lung, until now I was wondering why you agree to polygamy.”

“Galung, you should know that no woman wants to be polygamous. So naturally polygamy is strictly prohibited,” added Faris while stretching his fingers.

"When I talk about willpower, I think it's very selfish. Because, the allowance of polygamy against the background of several aspects, the most basic aspects of benefits.”

"What, polygamy is useful!" His eyes were glaring at me. “Life just heard that polygamy has benefits, what benefits?” he said a little loud.

"Polygamy can minimize the number of PSKs. Now men are equal to women to three. So it's legal if men have one, two or even three wives. So that women who want to plunge into the good dark world that has peddled himself can marry men. So someone is saving them. Simple like this; if there are beautiful women who do not work can just ask married men who can support it, quite easily right.”

His forehead wrinkled. Heads shake. Whatever I say, he still doesn't accept it. “Can't, can't” he said as he shook his head. “It's the same as torturing a woman's heart.”

"Oh, what if the minister is made to take care of a spinster, PSK or former PSK, it means not having to marry more than one, because there is already someone who regulates and supports them"

I laugh. Faris always had a way of defending his opinion. “Indeed who wants to be his minister, you want?”

“But, you said someone had to provide, I think you deserve to take care of them.”

I laughed at the thought of taking care of it.

"Why silence?"

She grinned.

"Okay, okay I give up I appreciate your opinion. But that doesn't mean I agree.”

His lips laughed wide.

“Where to Lung?”

Ask Faris as I step up.

“I want to go home.”

“Wait a minute, we're not done yet!”

“What else?”

He whispered something. Then pull.

We are again arguing about polygamy. We are not out of words. I still disagree and Faris always tries to defend his opinion. I don't know why our conversation went to corruption. There are corruption cases almost every day. A small criminal corruption case. Of major criminal corruption. Faris said that corruption in Indonesia is increasing every year. That's based on the ICW survey. He also lamented officials who commit corruption. I told him, corruption is not a rare thing in government. Ninety-nine percent of officials are corrupt.

“Who's wrong, law enforcement or corruptor?”

"The wrong corrupter.”

“Why did you say corruptor was wrong?”

“Obviously they're corruptors, hurting the country's money.”

“Is the law enforcement necessarily wrong, because no punishment can deter the corruptors?”
