Mr. Ismail still seemed to sting, so to speak was very difficult. Finally Jeni took the initiative to take a glass of water and give it to Mr. Ismail.
"Drink first, le. Calm down, after that we'll tell the same story." Kyai Hasan patted Mr. Ismail's shoulder.
Mr. Ismail nodded then spent the entire contents of the glass up to the toilet, until his breathing was no longer as heavy as earlier.
"Now tell me, what's up? How did you get to come here by yourself? Then why do you look so worried?" kyai Hasan again.
Mr. Ismail who was calmer looked into the eyes of Kyai Hasan, the fog began to fill his aging netra again. And after that Mr. Ismail fell down and cried sobbing.
"My mac ... My mother ... hiks, hicks," the whim is heartbreaking.
All hearts tremble to hear Mr. Ismail's cry, especially by calling the mother who has not been heard from in the past.
Jeni came forward with wet eyes, she pulled the hand of Mr. Ismail wanting to ask for an explanation.
"Nek Minah why? What happened to Nek Minah, sir? Whahuh? Say quick!" he was worried and scared at once.
During this time Jeni always misses Nek Minah, not infrequently after Nek Minah decided to go home and return to live with Mr. Ismail, not infrequently, Jeni will visit every week and will call Nek Minah every day because of anxiety if only Mr. Ismail just pura changed. But because for many years and no more lopsided news about Mr. Ismail, Jeni began to rarely visit and call Minah because she asked him to believe in the son who has now completely changed.
Mr. Ismail still silent did not answer Jeni's question, Jeni who had been limp because of fear of what happened to Nek Minah immediately ran into the house to take the key of the motor.
"Dek Jen, where are you going?" gus Moses asked as he ran in his steps.
"Art wants to see firsthand the condition of grandma, Mas. Jeni is afraid of something happening with grandma," said Jeni without paring her intention to ride on the motorbike.
Gus Musa sped up and held the handlebar of the motorbike, because he did not want his wife to go alone.
"Wait, Dek Jen. Patience, we should wait for an answer from Mr. Ismail first. Don't be in a hurry, yes" persuaded Gus Musa gently while holding Jeni's hand and asked her to go back up.
"Sir, please now explain what's going on with Grandma Minah. Don't make us all anxious for no reason like this" said Gus Musa firmly while crouching before Mr. Ismail who was still sobbing.
"Emak ... mom .. is dead." Mr. Ismail said softly, so softly that he had to concentrate to be able to hear his voice.
Gus Moses who heard it immediately gasped in shock.
"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiuun ...," he said representing all.
Jeni was more surprised, but because it was not so heard the words of Mr. Ismail Jeni again asked her husband.
"Mas, why say that? Who died, Mom? It's not grandma, is it? Mom, answer!" Jeni shook Gus Musa's body which seemed still in shock, but in the end a nod from Gus Musa explained everything.
"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiuun, granny ...." Jeni fell down next to her husband, bowed deeply with both hands covering her tear-filled face.
"Then how is the state of the deceased, sir?" ask Moses again.
" Mommy's body is still at home, because we only live alone and away from the neighbors so no one has helped me take care of it, so I decided to go here first." Mr. Ismail explained.
"If you may know, when is the time of death of the deceased?" ask kyai Hasan.
Mr. Ismail wiped the tears streaming down his face.
"Not too long ago, probably after the Dhuha prayer. I found Mom still sitting on the prayer mat complete with her face when the day had gone by. I thought my mother was still cool with zikir, so I let her and I stayed in the garden. But, two hours later when I returned to my position is still the same as when I left. And ... and .. when I touch Mom's body, she's already ...." Mr. Ismail again sobbed great, though he was very fond of his mother seen from the pain on his face when left by Nek Minah for good.
"Alright, we go to your house now" Kyai Hasan said after hearing Mr. Ismail's explanation.
Then he turned to Sarah and Axel who were also still there and looked pity on Mr. Ismail.
"Sarah's sister, Axel's son. I'm sorry but we all have to go to Ismail's house, to help take care of his mother's body."
Not intend to expel, it's just that Kyai Hasan must also be able to prioritize which is deserved in advance. So he told Sarah and Axel to ask for his understanding.
"We'll follow you, kyai. We also want to take care of the deceased" said Axel after getting approval from his wife, Sarah.
"Alright, your children let's stay here first. There will be a manager who watches over them all later, yes let's go" said Kyai Hasan sage.
Then according to the agreement they also left together, after Sarah and Axel say goodbye to the three twins of course. And fortunately the three children were nothing troublesome, all agreed to wait there while teaching.
It didn't take long, they finally arrived in front of the house that brings good memories for Jeni in her difficult time, and, gegas Jeni came down impatiently and hunted into the house of Nek Minah followed by the others.
"Miss! Grandma! Grandma, it's Jeni, Grandma!" exclaiming Jeni called out to nek Minah while hoping there would be a reason from her, in her heart Jeni could not accept the news of the passing of the grandmother who had been considered her own grandmother.
Nothing prevented when Jeni started to enter all the rooms one by one, they understood that Jeni still could not accept the reality.
"Grandmother! Hey, who are you!" hardik Jeni when he entered the room which is Nek Minah's room and found someone there was crouching on the side of the corpse that was still wrapped in mucus.
"Mas, there's someone else here." Jeni exclaims calling her husband between sober and no, and, because it should have been natural there are others in the funeral home because it could have been Mr. Ismail had to report this news to neighbors who live on the side of the road to invite them to the house.
They all ran towards Jeni, for some reason even with the possibility that there was a feeling Mr. Ismail even more unsettled, he said, because he remembered that he hadn't told anyone around there about his mother's death, so who was visiting his house at this time?
When he arrived at the door of Nek Minah's room, Mr. Ismail even retreated so surprised to see who was near the body of the mother.
"La-Lasmi!" yells stuck.
