Cooking Together

Reyhan awoke from his sleep, his hands fumbling to the side, he was shocked when he realized Jenny was no longer beside him. Reyhan comes out of the room and searches for Jenny's whereabouts probably because Jenny's kidnapping case yesterday made him unsettled if he had not seen Jenny's face.

Reyhan could breathe a sigh of relief when he saw Jenny in the kitchen, "What are you doing?" reyhan asked in a snapping tone so worried.

Jenny sighed for a while, a question that was awkward in her opinion, when it was clear Jenny was making dough there.

"While washing!" jenny replied, she looked at Reyhan with a sigh again, "Yes of course you want to cook, don't you see?"

Reyhan was reminded of the egg sweets Jenny made. Still feeling good in his throat. He's closing in on Jenny.

"What are you cooking? Just let the waiter here cook for us!"

Jenny squinted her eyes "You forgot yes, I told you I'd be a good wife to you."

"Yes, I know, but... "

Reyhan's words stopped when he saw Jenny put sugar in the dough.

"I'll cook chicken crispy. I read it on the internet it seems easy."

Reyhan scratched his non-itchy head. He was carrying two small jars that were red and blue.

Reyhan pointed to the small, blue jar, "This is the blue one with salt."

Reyhan pointed to a small jar called red, "And this is a jar of red sugar."

"Geez!" scream Jenny while closing her mouth. He immediately poked the chicken crispy dough it turned out to taste very sweet .

Jenny hit Reyhan on the shoulder.

"Arghhh... " Reyhan grimaced as the punch hit his injured shoulder.

"So that time my homemade egg must have tasted sweet?Why did you eat it!" Jenny never thought about why Reyhan ate it and said good to her.

"What a question you had, that was a week ago."

"Yes, I know you shouldn't have to eat it, you must have been so tormented when you ate it." Jenny herself thought about it.

Jenny thought for a while and smiled sweetly and leaned her body towards Reyhan, causing Reyhan to swallow the coarse salivary because of her actions, "Do you do it because you appreciate me so much. I didn't expect that you liked me so much that you didn't want me to be disappointed."

"Ja-don't Ge-Er, I ate it because I really like it, emm."

Jenny knew Reyhan was lying "Yes it's been , I'll make a lot for you."

Jenny intended to walk to the fridge to get the eggs but Reyhan stopped her, "No need, I don't want to eat them. Let's make another one."

Eventually they cook the chicken crispy, according to Jenny's intentions from the start and have to make it with a new batter.

I don't know until when we're like this, I hope we can leave behind some really good memories, let me be a good memory for you, and so will you.

Reyhan returned Jenny's smile, "I haven't cooked in a long time, I used to cook for Dinda, my sister."

"If Dinda's alive how old is she now?"

"19 years old, she must be a very pretty girl. And I as her brother must always pay attention to her continuously for fear that someone wants to mess with her. Unfortunately I couldn't take good care of him, I let him suffer alone in his last breath." Reyhan said that with teary eyes.

Jenny hugged Reyhan from behind. "You are a good brother. I'm sure Dinda must love you very much. Never feel guilty. Dinda must be so sad to see you like this."

"Every time you feel happy or sad share with me. I'm always ready for you."

Reyhan felt touched by Jenny's treatment of her, she let the white and smooth hand continue to hug her from behind, encircling her stomach.

After cooking, they had breakfast together. They look like a real couple this morning.

"Rey!"

"Hm?"

"Can I skip today?"

"Where are you going?"

"I want you to teach me martial arts, I don't want to be a burden to you. At least I can fight back if anyone intends to kidnap me again." Jenny said it in earnest.

"No need, you're gonna have a lot of trouble."

"Come on, please teach me!" Jenny embraces Reyhan's arm spoiled.
