Shame and Sadness

Devan looked at Renatta who was still sound asleep beside him, at the stroke of Renatta's hair slowly, then he kissed her forehead.

Sometimes Devan is like a dream to have Renatta fully, he still remembers when he first liked Renatta, a little girl who can divert the world of Devan that looks so stiff.

Then because of his mistakes repeated in the past he had to lose Renatta for 6 years with his son who even only knew of his existence at that time.

He also still remembers when Renatta was afraid to see him just because he accidentally broke one of his robot collections, which he owned, and from there he can start close to Renatta even though he never dared to give direct attention to Renatta and always give his attention through his late sister.

Devan's daydreams were spoiled when he felt Renatta wriggling his body then not long after Renatta's eyes opened which were greeted with a smile by Devan.

"Is your sleep good?" Devan asked Renatta.

Renatta nodded and hid his head in Devan's chest, occasionally he rubbed his head on Devan's chest.

Seeing Renatta's behavior makes Devan can only shake his head - his head feels anxious himself with Renatta's more spoiled attitude than usual.

"Do you have no intention of waking up Re" asked Renatta again.

Renatta slightly distanced his body from Devan, Lali raised her head to be able to look right at Devan "What time is it?" He spoke with a distinctive hoarse voice like a new person waking up.

"It's almost 7pm" replied Devan who immediately made Renatta widen his eyes.

"Hour 7 nights" said Renatta, not believing if he slept for so long, then how was Devan's dinner.

"I don't think you'll wake up until tomorrow morning" Tempta Devan, who was repulsed by Renatta's angry scorn.

When Renatta wanted to wake up from his sleep, Devan pulled Renatta's body back to lie next to him.

"I'm going to Dev's bathroom" he said.

"Don't you want to know what happened while you were sleeping?" Ask Renatta.

Renatta frowned "What happened?

Devan put on his serious face before Renatta's "So there's a nurse who almost caught us naked while delivering dinner" he said in a serious tone.

Renatta was surprised to stare at Devan "You're not lying right?" Both of Renatta's cheeks were already blushing red hearing Devan's words.

Devan shook his head "Tadi Raka as Sherly also watched as you hugged my body so tightly, even I had trouble letting go because of the tightness of your embrace" he said again to Renatta.

Shame immediately spread throughout Renatta's body, he was sure that Raka and Sherly would mute him out - exhausted from having done something like this in the hospital, he said, especially with Devan's condition that has not fully recovered.

"You're lying, aren't you?" His words were a little stammered and nervous, hoping that what Devan said was just a lie, but seeing Devan's calm expression made him more sure that Devan's words were true.

"Where might I lie, if you don't believe me, you can ask the nurse who delivered the food here, I still remember clearly the nurse's embarrassed and surprised expression when she saw the sleeping position and the condition of our bodies earlier or you can confirm it directly to Raka and Sherly"

Devan enjoyed Renatta's red face as a result of his words, he was very happy to see the red hue on both of Renatta's cheeks.

Trying to hide his shame, Renatta immediately ran towards the bathroom by covering both of his faces to close the red hue on his cheeks that was getting reddened by the sudden embarrassment level appeared excessively.

"Be careful Re don't run like that, remember you are currently pregnant" said Devan who was worried when he saw Renatta running towards the bathroom, he was worried that the unwanted things would happen to his son and his wife because of the carelessness Renatta made.

Devan then smiled again when he saw the bathroom door that was closed slightly rudely by Renatta, what Devan said was all true only when he lied a little when he said that their bodies were naked when he had tidied all their clothes when there was a nurse who entered earlier.

Regret still haunts him to this day, even sometimes he hoped that all the injuries he gave to Karin and his late son were just dreams but in fact he was the cause of every sadness Karin so far.

How he used to be so willing to throw a girl as good as Karin just for the sake of following his ego and also his friends who gave him silly bets like this.

"Once again forgive papah son, because papah you can not see the beauty of the world and papah hope you can help papah to meet your mother back" Pinta Devan in front of her son's grave.

Unknowingly for the first time her tears trickled down remembering how evil she used to be let alone remembering her son who had to leave first before she knew of his whereabouts.

He got up from his son's grave, accidentally he saw Karin who was walking hastily when he saw her in their son's grave.

"Let's wait" Nicholas chased after Karin who had already run a little away from him.

Nicholas flipped over Karin's body and hugged her tightly "Sorry, forgive me Rin" he said in a voice that was about to cry.

"Take off Brother" Chirped Karin who felt a little tight on her chest due to the tight hug from Nicholas.

"I'm sorry" That's all Nicholas ever said, his guilt grew when he saw Karin.

Then Karin felt her clothes wet and then heard a soft sobbing and Nicholas' body shaking from the crying.

Karin immediately undoes her intention to force Nicholas to release his body from Karin.

His eyes were glazed over - the glass "It must hurt to know the truth?" He asked "That's how I felt when for the first time I had to lose him which I even promised him happiness if he grew up"

Nicholas further tightened his embrace, really his heart is currently very sick knowing all that let alone hearing Karin's last words just now.

Good night, I hope you're not all bored with the storyline.

This is actually the story is no longer a heavy conflict, we just finish Maslah small problem of the characters.

So maybe the next part will be more happy compared to sad.
