Ch 30's. Regrets of a Grandpa.

In the darkness of the night, it appeared that someone wearing a black robe covered his body, was walking in a hurry. With a torch in his hand, as a street light.

Sometimes he would look back, afraid that someone would follow him. After a while, he found a cave in front of him. Without a second thought, he immediately entered the cave.

10 Minutes walk in the cave, he stopped right on the bright red embers.

"HOW DO YOU DO YOUR JOB, DO YOU DO IT WELL OR NOT?" A voice was spoken in the fire.

Hearing that, the person immediately knelt down, cold sweat pouring down his temple. With a trembling body, he ventured to answer the voice.

"Pardon me sir. I failed to do my duty" said the man, with a trembling tone.

"WHAT?"

Suddenly the embers formed half a human body with a goat-like head.

The creature created a fireball from his hand, and was about to throw it at the man.

"I-I'm sorry, my lord."

"Sir, I dare to come here because I have news that my master might be interested in hearing it" said the man quickly while prostrating.

The creature did not throw the fireball. "Hmm, I'll consider my decision. If the news you're telling me is interesting, then I'll forgive you. However, if the news doesn't interest me, then I'll throw you right away with this fireball."

Hearing that, the man breathed a sigh of relief. Then he said. "My master, actually, our plan went according to what we planned. However, because that kid made everything fall apart."

"You mean?" The creature scrunched his eyebrows.

The man then recounted what had happened in the arena without anyone being missed.
