Yue Jian, Zhang, Huo Lin, and Ling Qian finally made it into the Ling family area. The amount of chaos and warfare between the Ling family and the other big families, made Yue Jian and his friends able to enter here.
“I didn't think the Ling family was really being hostile to another big family,” muttered Yue Jian, quietly. “They must be the only family that opposes the rule of the King of the Mainland.”
“It is impossible for my brother to submit to them after the incident at the North Gate was revealed,” said Ling Qian, confident and trusting in his brother's decision.
“Stop ...,” Yue Jian gave command slowly while hiding behind a large tree.
In this vast forest, several warriors were seriously injured. There were five people, moving slowly away from the border.
“They are people of the Ling family,” said Ling Qian, wanting to approach them immediately. However, Yue Jian immediately withdrew the girl's hand, stopping her.

In just a short moment without any hindrance, Yue Jian and his companions arrived at the Ling family residence safely. Surely the guards of the Ling residence did not make it difficult for them to enter after seeing Ling Qian and the five injured Ling family warriors.
After everything dropped, Huo Lin again turned into a human. Meanwhile, Ling Qian called out to some of the guards of the Ling residence.
“Three of you, come here,” said Ling Qian. “Bring them to the medical room!”
“Good!” The three summoned guards immediately escorted the five injured warriors, to the medical room along with Yue Jian and Zhang.
“Hold in a moment,” said Yue Jian, carrying one of the warriors on his back, walking following the three guards of the Ling family residence summoned by Ling Qian.
“Thank you ...,” replied the swordsman carried by Yue Jian. “You saved our lives.”
“Thank you to Ling Qian.” Yue Jian looked indifferent. “He who took the initiative to save his dying family members.”
The swordsman smiled thinly. “Then, please tell her my thanks.”
“Tell yourself when you recover.”
Ling Qian walked into the hall of the Ling family elder with Huo Lin. Here he found Ling Tian—kakakakak—sedang sitting on the throne. It was obvious that the man was not in a good mood.
“Kakak ...,” said Ling Qian, slowly, approaching to the throne.
“Ling Qian?” Suddenly Ling Tian stepped down from the throne, running to hug his little sister. “Thank God you survived.”

Not long after, as Ling Tian and Ling Qian began to take off their hugs, Yue Jian and Zhang came in accompanied by a doorkeeper. The three of them stopped near Huo Lin, slightly away from the older sister who was taking off longing.
A while later, after feeling relieved, Ling Tian looked around, only to realize that there were Yue Jian, Zhang and Huo Lin within this hall. Not knowing who they were, Ling Tian asked Ling Qian, “Who are they? Your new friends?”
Ling Qian glanced at Yue Jian and the others for a moment, then glanced back at her brother. The girl smiled thinly. “They're friends and also my sister-in-law. Hehe.”
“Anggreed?” Immediately Ling Tian observed the three foreign teenagers who entered the hall along with his sister. “They are Luo Xiao's students too?”
“Yes,” Yue Jian replied, before Ling Qian could explain. “I am Yue Jian, and they are Zhang and Huo Lin. We three disciples Luo Xiao.”
“Hahaha.” Ling Tian laughed. “If you are Luo Xiao's student, I won't doubt your abilities! Introduce me Ling Tian, big brother Ling Qian as well as the young master of the Ling family!”
“Nice to meet you ...”
“By the way,” all of a sudden, Ling Tian switched the subject, “Where did Luo Xiao go? He didn't just leave you guys, did he?”

Ling Qian smiled wryly, as did her friends. The girl then said to Ling Tian who looked puzzled looking at their expressions.
“Kakak, has brother not got the news?” ling Qian asked, trying to say as slow as possible.
Ling Tian scratched his head while smiling awkwardly, saying, “From what I heard, Mu Lan betrayed Lord Ling Chi for the sake of usurping the throne. The unfilial disciple killed his own teacher for a post.”
“Wait ...” Yue Jian tried to digest the information. “What do you mean that Mu Lan betrayed Ling Chi?”
