Chapter 07: The Examination

As everyone crowded around to see the figures of the two promising people, a young man standing beside Earlene greeted him.

"It really sucks, doesn't it."

"That's how, who are you?"

"My name is Arthur, I'm from Britain and I'm trying to enroll in this academy."

"Britain?"

"My mother is from this country and my father is from there, because she is married again I decided to stay here with my mother from now on."

Arthur had bowl-black hair with a bronze sword on his back, his clothes shabby despite his calm demeanor.

The words just passed.

In the next exam Earlene gets a perfect score followed by Arthur behind her. They have no meaningful barriers, unless ignored by other students.

"Forget it, these people are bad."

"I agree too."

The list of entrance examination graduation announcements had been affixed to the board so that everyone could see through it. Out of thousands of people will only pass as many as 100 people each teaching.

Both Arthur and Earlene were at the end, although they were very strong.

"Why are we at the end?"

"I think because of our low status. The world is always like this, at least we managed to get away without someone kicking us and saying that we are still underage" said flat Earlene who was met with limp words.
