23. Living together in one room

"Help me?" The masked man asked to look at the woman in front of him who looked so charming inside the room that it was only illuminated by a dim light.

"Yes, I am also the one who was kidnapped here and the great master of this place is going to make me his wife in the next 4 years." Adelia.

The masked man frowned looking at the beautiful girl in front of him, 'It would be a shame if the beautiful girl he ended up being the old man's wife. But it would be troublesome to take her out of here, for she is a weak woman.' Thought the masked man in his heart as he sipped a drink made by Adelia.

Adelia could read the thoughts of the man in front of her, because she had also experienced this.

So Adelia smiled at the masked man as she said, "You can stay here for 2 days and by then we are ready to leave this place."

Adelia's confident speech instantly made the masked man smile obliquely looking at the woman in front of her.

What a difference two more days and today, but the masked man nodded his head as a sign of his approval made Adelia very satisfied.

'I'm sure you've still been drinking the potion from the man for another 2 days then I already have enough strength to leave this place.' Adelia thought inwardly then she then said, "Then you should just hide in my room so that the servants here are unaware of your presence."

The masked man smiled slantingly and then he approached Adelia while holding her chin, "are you sure you want to hide a man in your room? Aren't you afraid I might kill you while you're asleep in your sleep?" Asked the masked man while observing Adelia who looked very calm.

Adelia carved a thin smile on her lips while returning the gaze of the man in front of her, then she moved her lips, "I believe someone like you will not. After all, if you do that, then I'm sure you won't be able to leave this place alive." Adelia said confidently.

The man immediately let go of Adelia's chin then he sat quietly while looking at Adelia who was also calmly enjoying her own drink.

After a long time of sitting quietly in silence, Adelia finally stood up and looked at the masked man as she said, "follow me."

After speaking, Adelia then stepped towards her room with the masked man who kept following her.

Once in the room, Adelia closed the door and the woman checked the closet.

"I don't have any clothes that are suitable for you to wear, so I can only give you this," Adelia said of the blankets and pillows from the closet and gave them to the masked man.

"You can't sleep in my bed but you can be there" said Adelia pointing to a long chair placed inside the room.

The man followed Adelia's index finger and the man walked up to the chair and sat there, tidying up his blanket and his pillow.

"All right, good night" said the masked man, blanketing his body as he closed his eyes.

Adelia who noticed the masked man then said, "if you sleep with your mask then tomorrow morning your mask will be broken."

The masked man immediately wrapped himself in a blanket while looking at Adelia and their gazes met for a few seconds before Adelia turned towards her bed as if not caring about the man anymore.

So the man smiled and took off his mask and put it on the bed while turning his back to Adelia to enter his dream.
