Chapters 142. The Commander of the Army

On the streets of Rong Cheng city a young man wearing a red cloud-patterned robe was walking leisurely yet full of vigilance with all the possibilities he would encounter.

As dozens of soldiers began to inspect one by one every building that existed in the city, Xue Yunlei showed the same attitude as everyone else.

The actions of the soldiers made the residents and immigrants in the city to be surprised and curious about what had happened.

"Stop! ". Shouted a soldier stopping Xue Yunlei's footsteps.

The commander of the troops who saw the actions of his subordinates immediately stared at the intended person.

Seeing Xue Yunlei's appearance made the commander directly order the other soldiers to follow him.

Dozens of soldiers followed the commander immediately to approach the soldier who stopped Xue Yunlei who was now faced with the masked figure.

" Is the person who committed the murder characteristic of him the same as I look today? ". Xue Yunlei asked again.

" No sir, but we have a sketch of the man's face, because one of the eyewitnesses saw the killer's face". Answer the commander.

"So we beg you to cooperate with us and immediately remove the mask you are wearing". Continue the commander.

" Fuck, is that sketch of the face they're referring to a sketch of my face? ". Xue Yunlei.

Xue Yunlei's nostrils were made larger and his cheeks slightly raised to look ugly by the commander.

The moment the commander immediately took out the sketch of the face they brought to compare with Xue Yunlei's face whether it was similar or not.

As the commander looked at Xue Yunlei's face and looked at the sketch of the face he was holding, the two of them had no resemblance.

The commander immediately said to Xue Yunlei.

"Sir, I apologize for interrupting your trip, please put on the mask again". Said the commander kindly.

Xue Yunlei who heard the commander's words quickly returned using her mask.

After he finished using his mask again, Xue Yunlei asked the commander.

"Sir, can I leave? ".

" Yes, you can go". Replied the commander briefly as he turned to continue their search.

Xue Yunlei immediately turned around and immediately walked to the opposite side of the army.

Just walking for about ten steps, the commander again stopped his footsteps.

"It looks like the young man while wearing his mask, his nose doesn't look as big as when he's unmasking it". Thought the commander.

" Is he tricking me? ". He thought again as he turned to look at Xue Yunlei.

When the commander turned his back and did not find the figure he was looking for, the commander immediately shouted.

"Let's go after him, maybe he goes through that alley, we spread out and surround this region, he'll definitely hide first before escaping again".

" Because he can't continue to flee any further". Close the commander who kept running to chase after Xue Yunlei.

Upon entering one of the buildings, Xue Yunlei immediately changed the clothes she was wearing with the old clothes she had and ruffled her hair to look like a beggar.

After doing so, Xue Yunlei immediately walked out from the other side of the building to head to the other streets of the city.

When he saw the safe situation, Xue Yunlei immediately sat in one corner of the building and stretched out his hand like a beggar.

Not long after, the commander appeared on the street where Xue Yunlei was sitting to beg.

As the commander looked around, he did not get a single passerby on the road.

So he immediately looked towards the building standing on the side of the road and found the figure of a beggar sitting.

The commander approached him to ask.

After arriving near where Xue Yunlei was sitting, the commander immediately asked a question.

"Did you see the figure of a masked man in a red cloud-patterned robe? ".

" Yes, the man went that way using the science of lightening the body". Xue Yunlei replied while pointing in one direction.

Hearing Xue Yunlei's reply, the commander immediately left with the troops that were with him in the direction indicated by Xue Yunlei.

Having just left Xue Yunlei, they had already met the other troops who were conducting the examination.

The commander who had originally met Xue Yunlei directly asked his colleague who was also a commander of the troop group that met them.

"Xinhua commander, did you see the masked man wearing a red cloud-patterned robe? ".

"In that case, we'd better find out where the guy is hiding". Bring Xinhua.

" Wait, it looks like I've been tricked a second time by that person". Said the commander who met with Xue Yunlei.

The commander turned his back to look where the beggar was sitting.

As the commander looked, he found Xue Yunlei still sitting in his place.
