Akira and Alpha (Part 1)
“A boy walks through the ruins of a vast city with a stern expression. Around it, there were buildings in partial ruins. Fragments of buildings were scattered all around and not a single soul was in sight. The sound of the boy's footsteps and the rocks rattling under his feet echoed throughout the ruins.”
(Dirty and dirty clothes are the only thing the boy has. For the boy, that was all he had. However, in a place like this, he was equipped with incredible equipment. After all this is a place known as ‹The Ruins of the Old World›.)

“In the ruins, there are autonomous weapons attacking their targets aimlessly due to malfunction. They are machines that were once designed for safety, adhering to the criteria set by their creators. Abandoned only by orders to kill their targets, these autonomous weapons continue to follow their only command.”
(Autonomous weapons are the offspring of biological weapons. Evolved to survive harsh conditions, they have blurred the line between machine and biological and, in the East, they are called Monsters. ‹The Ruins of the Old World› is the lair of these monsters.)
“The boy understood the danger he faced as his face froze in anticipation. Despite knowing the danger he was in, the attractiveness of the treasure was tempting him. Or at least, an object that could be considered a treasure in the eyes of someone born and raised in the slums.”
“The boy's name is Akira.”
(About sighing and muttering to himself, '…. There's nothing useful here. I risked my life for all this? … Should I venture deeper into the ruins?' )

(He tilted his head and looked ahead. In the distance, there were many high-rise buildings. Even from afar, he could see the towering buildings were still in good condition. It was in stark contrast to the ruined buildings that stood around Akira. 'If I manage to get there, will I be able to obtain an expensive relic?' )
(The possibility to earn a large sum of money attracted Akira's interest. But it was just a fantasy. He immediately shook his head and as if calmed down and reminded himself, No, that's impossible. I'll die before I get there'. )
(His surroundings were currently in ruins, but, in the distance, there was a beautiful view. The difference between the two areas is due to environmental maintenance. In other words, in the ruins in the distance, there the remains of advanced maintenance machines from the Old World era were still operating. And the possibility of meeting that superior and functional safety machine is very high. It was impossible for a child like Akira to survive in an area heavily guarded by those machines. (Although it's hard for me to be here. I have to stop and not go any further ..' )

“Akira ignores his greed and keeps looking around where he is.”
“The area where he is located is the outermost area of a place called Ruins of Kuzusuhara Road. It is the nearest ruins of Kugamayama City, where Akira lives, and the largest ruins in the financial area of the city.”
“Monster hiding around these ruins is Medium Weak and Akira roaming in the Medium Safe Area.”
“Sedang Weak is a classification that states someone who is well prepared can handle Monsters. Moreover, the Intermediate Safe Area meant there was a higher chance of survival compared to the ruins in the distance. That being said, that doesn't mean Akira can lower his guard.”
“Akira is vulnerable due to lack of proper equipment as he is only one step away from death either from the fangs of the mutated creature or the bullets from that machine. Moreover, the gun he was holding had no power to defeat monsters. To defeat them, Akira must engage in close combat and shoot from close range. In other words, Akira had no chance of surviving a fight. If he fought, it would definitely end with his death.”
“However, he had no other choice but to enter the ruins. He had no money to survive another day. Thus, his desperation prompted him to enter the Ruins of Kuzusuhara Road.”
“Although he kept looking further, there was nothing. He tilted his head down and sighed. In his line of sight, bones from corpses rolled on the ground.”
(He has found the same bone in the past. And each time, he would search around the corpse in hopes of finding something but, he had never found anything. 'What do I expect? Even the people before me didn't find anything.')
“Akira thought feeling melancholy. Either there was someone who had already ransacked the area in front of him, or, there was someone as careless as him, exploring without the proper equipment, only to be greeted with the consequences of their actions.”
(.. At this rate, the sun will set and it is impossible to explore the ruins at night because I have no light. And, the probability of being attacked by a Monster is high .. I survived dangerous ruins so the experience I got was the most important .. right? So, I have to go back. If I stubbornly stay here, I will just join that pile of bones.)

“Akira began to think of a reason he could use to return. Since he had risked his life to be here, it was hard to accept his defeat.”
('There is no point in depression because of this. I'll explore a little further and, if I don't find anything, I'll come back'. )
“For Akira, a fruitless return means that his decision to risk his life is meaningless, so Akira decides to look for a little more.”
“He suddenly stopped when he raised his head and saw a girl hovering in the air.”
“He was still frozen.”
“That girl has an unreal beauty like a fantasy. Moreover, all her graceful figure and beautiful body were exposed with nothing to hide it.”
“His beautiful skin is very different compared to the one from the slums. “Akira could only stand there mesmerized by the beauty of the girl as if her soul was sucked out. Compared to all the girls she had seen in her life that were still relatively short, and even if she compared it to all the girls from her imagination until now, her beauty was simply peerless. With just a quick glance, all the criteria of a beautiful girl inside Akira are all overwritten.”
“That girl just floated there doing nothing. He didn't even seem to notice Akira. Then a moment later, she gracefully turned her face to Akira.”
“Akira's eyes meet her eyes. She did not seem to be bothered that Akira was looking at her naked body as she smiled and looked at him. Akira, who was still dumbfounded, reacted slightly to her smile.”
“The girl realized that Akira was watching her. When he realized it, he laughed gleefully as he stepped closer to Akira.”

But the girl stood there, alone, in the wild, even without a weapon in her hand. He didn't even seem to notice his surroundings. And even though she was naked, she did not try to hide her naked body at all. In addition, even though the wind from the ruins mixed with sand and dust, his hair was still clean.”

Although he did not even blink an eye there, he also did not see it moving beyond his line of sight. The girl instantly disappeared just like that in front of her eyes.”

And when she turned her face towards the source of the voice, the girl was there, fully clothed, and close enough for Akira to grab it with her hands. He bent so that their eyes met at the same height as he smiled and looked at her.”
“Otak Akira could not process everything that was happening before his eyes. All her nervousness suddenly turned into fear as her mind faded.”
“But Akira let go of his fear and stood up, he was able to regain his composure. Those who lose their peace will die. That was one thing he learned by living in a slum.”
“He immediately raised his gun and pointed it at the girl again, and then he stretched out his arm with the gun in his hand as he tried to push the girl with the muzzle of his gun.”
“The girl was actually close enough to be reachable by her gun. But when she reached out her hand, Akira found both her hands were inside her chest until her wrists.”
“Although both his hands were already inside him, Akira could not feel anything. He could clearly see that someone was standing there in front of him, but both of his hands felt nothing at all.”
“Akira was very surprised, to the point that he stopped working. He was still frozen, with both of his hands still inside the chest of the girl. Meanwhile, the girl tries to get a reaction from Akira by waving in front of him or calling him. But Akira just stood there, dumbfounded.”
“A long time ago, a great civilization that spanned the entire world was destroyed. Only half of the city was destroyed, buildings destroyed, and machinery damaged. It happened many years ago so it is difficult for people today to imagine the greatness of technology from the old world.”
“In a world where even spatter is artificially created, rain continues to fall there for those long years, sweeping away all damaged buildings, raining on the ground, feed the trees to grow high enough to reach the sky, and ultimately support the lives of those who live on the surface.”
“The ancient civilizations that people referred to as the old world have produced many relics with their advanced technology. Things like piles of unknown materials, half destroying buildings floating in the sky, and of course, piles of weapons that would be destructive if they were in the hands of the wrong person. Humanity has spent years collecting all the relics of this old world and reconstructing human civilization.”
“At the end, even a civilization with such advanced technology that one might even think of it as magic, which can annihilate the entire human race.”
“In the far east of human civilization, there are many corporate cities managed by a group called managing companies. And the city of Kugamayama is one of the cities of this company.”
“Part of Kugamayama city is surrounded by a large wall. Although all areas inside and outside the walls are collectively referred to as Kugamayama City. There is a big difference between these two areas.”
“Area inside the wall is divided into 2 districts. The upper district was filled with rich people and people with strong influence like company executives, while the middle district was filled with people who were quite wealthy. And, there was an area outside the wall, known as the lower district. The people who live there are most people who cannot afford to live inside the walls. And if you go further away from the city, you can find a residential block that is right next to a dangerous area outside the city that people refer to as the desert. These blocks are slums.”
“Akira is one of many children living in slums. In other words, he's just your everyday ordinary kid; he doesn't have the mechanical strength of a cyborg, there's no power perfected like those remodeled humans, and there is no additional power of nano-nano. Just like all the children in the slums, he had no special skills, no school education, no parents, no guardians, no food, no money, no money, and no one will grieve even if he dies.”
“As for the Monsters living in the desert, they will attack the city from time to time, and when that happens, the ones who suffer the most are the ones who live in the desert and in the slums.”
“Akira had survived 3 times through this kind of attack, in the first and second time, he just ran and hid. Thanks to strangers being attacked, killed, and eaten in his place, he can barely survive.”
“While in the third attempt, he was unable to escape from the little dog monster and ended up having a death match against him after he picked up the hand gun he found by chance.”
“Although he has no training in using a handgun, he is able to shoot his head 3 times with pure luck. However, his luck was not enough. The monster was covered in blood but still alive as it ran towards Akira and pounced at him with its big mouth open as if it would deliver a killing blow.”
“But before the monster's abnormal mouth could tear off Akira's arm, Akira instinctively pushed his arm into his mouth up to his elbow and pulled the trigger on his hand gun. Then the bullet went through the mouth of the monster, pierced through its skull, and pierced through its brain, and thus killed the monster.”
