Mr. Russels lulled his lips. His stick he moves to hit his own palm, but his eyes can not be separated from Noura and his friends who look at Mr. Rusel with a regular look. They marched in the field after Mr. Rusel caught them while ditching. Mr. Russels took a deep breath, then clucked in annoyance. Pak Rusel's wand was pointing at Noura. "You're starting again?"

Noura just grinned without sin. "You know all that."

Mr. Russels let out a long sigh, then looked at Noura's other friends. "Everyone, back to class except Noura."

Silent for a moment, Noura let out a long sigh. For sure, every time they make a mistake, only Noura is punished. It was common, and Noura was used to it.

"CAN'T DO IT, SIR!"

"YES SIR! CAN'T DO THAT! WE'RE BANDITS WITH NOURA!"

"YES SIR! CAN'T CHOOSE LOVE!"

"IF YOU WANT NOURA'S LAW, OUR LAW TOO!"

"YES! YUNG!"

"DON'T JUST YURA'S LAW HIT NOURA ANAK UNCLEAR!"

Mr. Russels was silent as the screams hit his eardrums. He circulated his gaze to the students who just did not want to survive the punishment, then let out a long sigh. "You better obey what I say, before I punish Noura even more."

"CAN'T DO IT, SIR!"

"KALO MR. NOURA, OUR LAW TOO!"

"YES SIR! DON'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE BECAUSE WE'RE RICH KIDS!"

"PUNISH US TOO!"

The screams again sounded the entire outdoor field. Several classes that had no teachers in droves stared at the field to see the incident.

Noura let out a long sigh, then looked behind her. "Guy, plis. I'm not papa. You guys go to class."

"No way, Ra! This is not fair!" salsa exclaimed while glaring furiously at Noura. "About you kids people are not clear, lo pantes for diginiin, is that it? No! This is not fair to you!"

"Yes!" Samuel followed back while shouting furiously. "Where does he say, THE LAW DOES NOT LOOK AT CASTE?!" he shouted, then smiled cynically. "Sad, this is what makes our country angry. The citizens are discriminators all!"

Noura was stunned, staring at the faces of his friends who looked angry just because Noura was punished by Mr. Rusel, while they were released.

Farrel stepped forward while looking intently at Mr. Russels. He was side by side with Noura, and his hands tightly grasped Noura's hands. "This is what he said bhineka singular ika? Different but one? Which he says does not distinguish the rich and the poor, the races and the religions?" ask her, then smile cynically. "Father is too tall to be a single bhineka man. Which one does the teacher say is used to teach his students? What I see, is the discriminatory adherents that are in this school."

Vabian came forward, then clasped Noura's other hand. "Yes, Sir! Whatever you say, we will do. Except, leaving our friend who was punished alone, even though we have also done the same mistake."

Silent. Noura developed her smile staring at Vabian. Although Vabian was the man who always mocked him the worst, Vabian was also willing to advance to the forefront when Noura was in trouble.

Mr. Russels nodded, as if understanding. "alright. If so, you are in the law to run around the field," he said, making them smile happily because it managed to provoke Mr. Russels. "But for Noura," pause, Mr. Russels gave her oblique smile. "You ran 10 around the field, then cleaned up the library."

Everyone who heard him gawked, as did Noura. "Mr!! Why so much?!" peekik Noura did not accept.

"Yes, Sir! It's a gak-"

"Once again you say about discrimination and justice ...," said Mr. Russels, cutting Yasmin's words. "Noura, will my law be more severe."

All were silent, except for Noura who only let out a long sigh.

Mr. Rusel then tapped Noura's head slowly using his cane. "Come on! Go, Noura!"

Noura. "Yaudah! Sono sir first!"

Mr. Russels nodded, then left the field.

Noura felt a hug from behind her, and Yasmin's voice followed. "AAAHH, NOURA SORRY!!"

Farrel sighed, then patted Noura's shoulder slowly. "I'm sorry, Ra. We're making it more legal."

Noura smiled, then shook her head and immediately embraced Yasmin and Salsa with both hands. "Fuck! I have no problem, really. What's the trouble maker doing here if it's not legal?"

Vabian snorted amusedly, then snapped Noura's head slowly. "Patient, yes, Ra."

Noura smiled widely, then nodded. "Gue is ordinary. Instead, I thank you guys for helping me desperately in front of Mr. Russels" he said with a sincere smile. He let go of his embrace, then clapped his hands 2 times. "Well, let's carry out our punishment!"

Their faces look lazy. The sound of tired sighs rang out from the six people. "Come it!" speak them with a lazy tone in unison.

Melvin walked slowly down the shelves of the library, then kept the book he held in an empty place on the shelf. Afterwards, Melvin picked up one of the encyclopedias there, then read it while walking. Melvin rested his body on the library chair, next to the sleeping body of a woman whose face was covered in books.

Melvin took his encyclopedic books seriously. His eyes pinched at the rows of words listed there, and stored them in his memory. Reading once again, Melvin had memorized every sentence that was there. Melvin's wiggle opens the next page. That was when, the squeal beside him felt and made Melvin turn to the side. The sleeping woman's head moved slowly, making the book on her face go down and revealing the sleeping face of a woman she knew so well.

"Noura?" melvin said spontaneously. Melvin was speechless looking at Noura's innocent face that looked exhausted and calm in his sleep. Unknowingly, Melvin stared intently at Noura, remembering how the woman got to the library, but never read a book. Melvin squinted his eyes when he saw something sparkling at the corner of Noura's lips. An amused snort came out of Melvin. "Snake."

Melvin chuckled in his place, then fell silent as he realized what he had just done. Melvin took a long breath. He kept his hands on the table, then put his head to sleep sideways towards Noura. Without any encouragement from where, Melvin brought his body closer and closer his face looked at Noura up close. "Sorven, but beautiful."

Melvin smiles. His hands stretched out to hold Noura's hair and put away the stubborn strands of hair and made Noura's face invisible. However, Melvin's hand came to a halt in the air as he realized something. Melvin's smile slowly disappeared. Melvin put his hands away, his face, then his body. He stood up, then looked at Noura who was still sleeping in his place. "No, you're supposed to go to school with me, Noura."

After saying that sentence to no one, Melvin came out of the library with a raging feeling. Melvin must stay away from Noura and hold himself back who wants to be near Noura. Yeah, Melvin should. Being close to Noura was a mistake for Melvin.

The mistake of having been close to the son of a murderer.
