It was like an endless dream. The day he hooked his little finger on my finger while smiling meaninglessly.
He recalled what he said with his smile, "If we grow up. I promise I'll find you all over the country".
The bullshit of a 7-year-old boy kept ringing in my head. I shouldn't have ignored it but it's so impressive because he's my special friend.
Sometimes I hope one day he'll prove his point. But on the other hand I also realized that the little boy had died 10 years ago.
What do I expect from remembering that promise and that smile?. It won't bring him back to life and look for me according to what he said.
The reason that time he left was because of the duties of both his parents. His father was a businessman in Europe. While his mother is American-Indonesian. After living in Indonesia for a long time, his father invited the family to return to Europe first and meet his grandparents. After that, he went to America to his mother's family.
Not long after the family left. We heard the news that the plane his family was riding on had a technical fault and ended up falling into the sea. The hope for them to live was very little.
After that incident, my mother who is a close friend of his continued to try to contact the family of his friend. But the result is nil. We mourn those who died in the accident.
And until now, we have not and have not heard from any of his family. Therefore, we really assume they are all dead.
I was angry at him who made promises when he could not do or keep. I was angry because he did not keep his promise. What I have now is a hatred for him that makes me wish that he was alive and that he kept his promise to me.
I will still wait for him.
I'll introduce myself first.
My name is Adela Kirana Mickaela. Many of my friends call me Adel, Adela or Kirana. He is often called Adel. This year I am 17 years old. I went to State High School in my small town. I have 2 (3) friends who have been with me since we were kids.
Their names are Alvin and Tria. They are both smart and smart kids. If Alvin gets the 1st champion, then Tria will get the 2nd. I am champion 5.
In academia, I admit that I am not very good. I prefer arts and sports. During Elementary school, I was more often included in sports competitions such as athletics. But when Junior High I started to study others, Taekwondo and the art of dance. And it turns out that's where my talent comes in.
During this High School, I was more often included in Taekwondo because in school we rarely have a martial athlete, let alone a daughter.
This year I was in 2nd grade. Ips Majors. If asked why, I would answer because both of my parents were businessmen. I hope that getting into this department and going to college can be easier to help him. After all, from the beginning I had no intention to enter the IPA because it dealt with subjects that I did not like.
Physics.
I'm the laziest when told to memorize a formula. Therefore I stayed away from him, not approached him and then denounced.
