Resigning
Rama: "Sorry, Mr. Grandpa. If this continues, I want to apply to resign from my job here. Still remember in Rama's memory that the resigning sentence came out of his mouth when he met his boss, Pak Agung, for the last time. The sentence is rather long so that it seems to confide in mixed emotions, but it is undeniable that Rama was a little emotional at that time because there happened to be a little conflict with the finance section, where according to Rama, there was a little conflict, finance always dramatizes problems - simple problems become big problems in the ears of the boss. Coincidentally also in the news abroad is viral news of footballer Lionel Messi who is not renewed his contract at the club FC Barcelona.
Lionel Messi is one of the best footballers in history who has played for FC Barcelona. Messi joined Barca's football academy in 2000 when he was 13. He was then promoted to the senior team in 2004 and debuted in October at the time.
Since then, Lionel Messi has been one of the most important players at FC Barcelona for over a decade. Messi has won many titles with the club, including ten La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey Cups and four UEFA Champions Leagues. On 5 August 2021, Barcelona announced that they could not keep Messi due to financial problems and Spanish league financial rules, when in fact Messi was willing to cut his salary in order to stay at Barcelona. So, Messi played for FC Barcelona for 17 years, from 2004 to 2021.
Sometimes Rama also feels a bit naive when likening the fate of his profession to Lionel Messi. But it seems that the path of Rama's fate has been determined so, so that finally the word - the word resign forced out of his mouth, until officially Rama no longer works in his company Pak Agung.
After Rama said goodbye to his co-workers, he felt relieved that he would have free time for his personal time and realize the holiday he had dreamed of. The plan is to visit interesting places on Java Island and explore its natural beauty.
Rama had prepared a mature and detailed itinerary over the previous few months. He will start his journey from his hometown, Jakarta, and visit major cities such as Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Malang. Rama planned to enjoy nature tourism in Pandeglang area, Banten Java, and also planned to enjoy the natural beauty around Mount Gede and Pangrango.
Rama will also visit Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park to see the beauty of the volcano and the surrounding grasslands. In addition, Rama planned to explore the beauty of Indonesian culture.
Rama will visit historical sites such as Borobudur and Prambanan temples in Yogyakarta, and also take a walk around the old town in Semarang and Surabaya. Rama will stay in various accommodations, including hotels and villas and backpacker style. He also planned to try the famous regional specialties, such as rabeg, fried rice, satay, tofu peel, gudeg, and others.
After a long tour of Java, Rama will return to Jakarta. Rama had carefully planned to spend and enjoy his pleasant vacation before embarking on a new chapter in his life.
A lot of wishful thinking is going through Rama's head at this time, and he feels that the trip will be an exciting life experience and will give him the opportunity to explore new places without any time restrictions or work obligations. Rama smiled to himself imagining the beauty of the freedom he received after 15 years tied up by routine and only monitor the condition of the factory and the drama of its workers.
Rama had already doodled some of the destination locations he wanted to go:
Banten: Lembur Mangrove Patikang, Carita Beach, Umang Island, Sangiang Island, Situ Gede, Tanjung Lesung Beach, Curug Ciputih, Tunda Island, Karanghawu Beach, Dua Island, Carita Beach, Ciputih, Krakatau Mountain Nature Park, Oar Island, Baduy Village.
2. West Java: Situ Patenggang, Pangandaran, Mount Tangkuban Perahu, Sampireun Village, Ciwidey Mushroom Hill, Green Canyon, Papandayan Mountain, Saung Angklung Udjo, Puncak Darajat, Ciwidey White Crater, Floating Market Lembang, etc, Kampung Adat Ciptagelar, Curug Cimahi.
Central Java: Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, Parangtritis Beach, Grojogan Sewu, Karimunjawa National Park, Mendut Temple, Kyai Langgeng Park, Pening Swamp, Purwokerto Square, Goa Kreo, Jogja Monument, Lawang Sewu, etc, Sikunir Hill.
4. IN Yogyakarta: Yogyakarta Palace, Taman Sari, Indrayanti Beach, Goa Jomblang, Mount Merapi, Krakal Beach, Nglanggeran Tourism Village, Kedung Pedut Waterfall, Bukit Bintang, New Beach, Malioboro, Parangtritis Beach.
East Java: Ijen Crater, Sukamade Beach, Blue Sendang Beach, Papuma Beach, Baluran National Park, Klayar Beach, Prigen Safari Park, Goa Gong Pacitan, Red Island Beach, Green Bay, Mount Bromo, etc, Madakaripura Waterfall, Bama Beach, Wedi Ireng Beach.
Rama tried to calculate roughly how long it would take to explore those places. To explore the entire area by visiting each tourist site and resting an average of 2 days per place, then the estimated total time needed is as follows:
Banten: 20 places x 2 days \= 40 days,
Central Java: 12 places x 2 days \= 24 days,
IN Yogyakarta: 12 places x 2 days \= 24 days,
East Java: 14 places x 2 days \= 28 days.
So, the estimated total time needed to explore the entire area is about 146 days or about 5 months.
But usually the time estimate is only rough and can differ depending on many factors such as weather conditions, tourist density, accessibility, and so on. And it may take up to a year to explore everything.
Rama calculated this time estimate while smiling to himself imagining a year would wander. Meaning Rama must immediately melt the severance and balance BPJSnya so that there is capital to travel for a year around the island of Java, which the rough count will cost about 76 million.

Not felt, the doodles of Rama's plan finally make Rama sleepy too, because until 2 am Rama still imagines the places he will aim. Rama also fell asleep on his living room couch with a lot of scribbled paper next to him.
