Eps 6 Shadow Warrior

After a long journey Stev stopped his horse in front of a modest inn with many rooms and an alcoholic tavern downstairs, Stev lifted Kaisan down while Ferderick could get off on his own feet.

After they entered the tavern, a woman dressed in white and a brown girdle on her stomach approached them with a look of anger.

"By Br*******do you know how worried I was waiting for you, but did you come with two boys, did you have a kid behind me???" said the woman as she continued to hit Stev's chest.

"Relax ilona, I can explain this, it's not what you'd imagine" stev raised both his hands to protect his face, while Ferderick and Kaisan looked at those who kept turning around in front of them.

"Enough Madam!" say it out loud to Ferderick to stop them.

ilona approached Ferderick, looking at his face fixedly "why doesn't this kid look like you at all? does he look like your affair?"

"Madam, that man is not our father" Ilona stopped hearing Ferderick.

"It's really ilona, listen to my explanation first" stev said.

The four of them sat face to face in the customer's seat..

"Try saying" said ilona by crossing her hands on her chest.

"Actually this kid who saved me, I was almost killed while on a mission"

"really? I told you not to take jobs related to courtiers, why don't you listen to me at all, thankfully you can escape from there what if you're going to be cut down there, what about me? you want to make me a widow?"

"Of course, you can stay here all you want, rest in one of the rooms, I'll bring you a change of clothes" said Iona with a smiling face, Ferderick and Kaisan are ushered in by an assault on the lodging workers.

"How can you bring such a handsome and adorable child?" he said with twinkling eyes.

"I knew you'd be happy that's why I brought the kid"

"Does it matter if you just take them?"

"Those who want to come with me, they say someone is after them and wants to kill them, and they have no purpose"

"Ahhh poor boy"

"And I'm still not sure but, I clearly remember my stomach was supposed to be hurt, but you see now it's just the rest of the scars, it's healing instantly it doesn't hurt at all" stev showed his stomach to his wife.

"Did that kid heal you?"

"Come, but when I woke up only Ferderick was in front of me" the two seemed to think.

"We have to treat the boy well for saving your life, you understand?"

"All right"

Steven and Ilona are a typical thirty-five-year-old couple, they are the owners of a 'Black Shadow' mercenary union with a base that guises lodging and taverns, whereas in the inn most of its residents are mercenaries who are ready to meet the request of the person who paid it when.

They are a married couple who have been married for more than twelve years but have difficulty having children, ilona is very fond of a child therefore she is very happy with the presence of Ferderick and Kaisan.

Ferderik and Kaisan lay in the room, though it was simple they were very comfortable there.

Ferderick got up and sat down "where are your wounds?" he examined the wound on his sister's leg.

"You said it didn't hurt, but it's already swollen, how can you lie to your sister?"

Kaisan woke up "sorry big brother, I just don't want to make it any more difficult"

"I'm going to treat you" Ferderick's hand again let out a yellow light over the wound on his leg, as soon as the wound completely disappeared.

"Unbelievably, my legs are healing" Kaisan smiled as he moved his feet.

"Remember, we have to hide this power of ours, you will also be able to use that power like a big brother once you're ten, promise me you'll keep it a secret from anyone, do you understand?"

Silent silence ilona has witnessed amazing things from behind the slightly opened door, it really makes her understand what has happened to her husband, she said, at first he did not intend to peek at something they kept secret but his curiosity overcame his logic. He was really amazed to see with his own eyes the yellow light was able to save someone's life. She was truly grateful that her dying husband had met the two of them.He would have lost her husband if the child had not found Stev by then. Since then Ilona considered her meeting with the child a fate, she was determined to keep the child like her own biological child.

Tok tok tok, "I'll enter the children" said ilona from behind the door.

"Okay, come in, ma'am" replied Ferderick.

Ilona stepped in "i brought you a change of clothes, but it's a little big, tomorrow I'll make you more decent clothes" he said gently.

"Thank you Madam, this is more than enough for us"

"Good boy, rest I'll go"

"Good" Ferderick felt strange, because his figure now looks softer than before when they chat, but Ferderick felt he still had to be vigilant to anyone he met.

Next day.

Ferderick was directed by a soldier towards the training ground, when he arrived there all fierce-looking eyes glanced at him in unison.

"Hey, want you here?" stev approached him.

"Good morning Mr. Stev" replied Ferderick greeting.

"Yes, here you do not need to be too rigid, befriend all of them, later they will guide you and provide knowledge to you, because there is business I have to go first"

"Good"

After Stev left someone approached him.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Ferderick" he replied loudly without changing the look on his face.

One by one the men approached him and asked Ferderick a question, until a crowd surrounded Ferderick.

"Hey I heard you were protecting Mr. Stev from wolves, is that right?"

"Yes" he answered briefly.

"Why would a child like you want to join us?"

"Because I don't have a destination"

"Did your mom and dad throw you out?"

"They're dead"

Instantly their ferocious gazes turned into pity gazes, on their faces as if written like a poor child, pity.

"Hey hey what are you doing to a child, you're going to scare him with your face" said a person who had just arrived named Joseph.

"Ciih. good Mr. Joseph"

People go and continue their respective exercises, Ferderick's eyes are focused by people who are sparing.

"You must be thinking about what a mercenary is training like a palace knight, right?" said Joseph.

"Isn't training necessary for everyone who wants to be stronger?"

"Wahh.. very mature answer, are you really ten years old?"

"Of course"

Joseph looked at him with a smile, he began to be interested in ferderick and wanted to sharpen it into an invincible sharp sword. Joseph was the second man to be quite respected in the Black Shadow warrior army, and he and Stev jointly founded the union and made it known to have a fairly good reputation for his abilities. Stev and Joseph were former court knights of the common people who resigned for a reason.
