MCDG ~ Chapter 74

Because it was not nice to let a guest outside, Bejo's father let Ms. Asma and Haikal into his house.

Now, Ms. Asma and Haikal are already in the living room of the minimalist house. When he saw a family photo that had been worn out by time, but still displayed on the wall of the room, making Ms. Asma get up from her seat and walk closer to the photo. 

Seeing his mother's strange attitude and getting to know each other with Mita's father, made Haikal more curious. 

What is their relationship? 

" Do you still love, Rumi?" ask Ms. Asma while looking at the family photo. His gaze continued to be fixed on the figure of a beautiful woman who was holding her little daughter. 

"Of course" replied Bejo's father, who was standing from his seat and staring at the photo.

" Why?" 

Bejo's father frowned, upon hearing a strange question coming out from Asthma's mouth. 

" Why is your question so weird, Asthma?" bejo's Dad said. 

Madam Asma just smiled. 

" Is it weird?" ms. Asma asked back while looking at Bejo's father.  

" Of course! Where there are people who have just met again after a long time, just asking about whether they still love their wife," ketus Bejo's father who felt a little upset. 

Ms. Asma chuckled when she saw the irritated expression on the face of her best friend's husband. " I just wanted to make sure because I never thought that you didn't remarry after Rumi died" Asma explained. Although she never knew how this man lived for the last dozen years, but Ms. Asma was sure that she had not married again. Because the family photo with his late wife is still clearly displayed in the living room.

" What is the relationship between you?" not Haikal who asked, but Andika brother Mita who was very curious and confused.

Who're they? Why did his father know each other, and he also knew about his late mother? Because as you remember, he had just met this woman for the first time.

" Yes, have you known each other before?" timpal Haikal was no less curious. 

" Of course you know" replied Ms. Asma with a glance towards Bejo who was just silent.

" Of course you know because your daughter is my daughter-in-law's candidate" concluded Bu Asma with a big smile. 

" Oh, yeah. Where is Mita?" asked Ms. Asma when she didn't see Mita in the house. 

Bejo and Andika's father frowned when he heard Asma saying that Mita was his son-in-law. 

"What do you mean say that, As? And do you know Mita? " ask Bejo's father.

" Have you forgotten the agreement I made with Rumi first?" Instead of answering, Ms. Asma actually threw a question to Bejo's father. He wants to reassure Bejo's father that he still remembers the agreement that took place decades ago.

A treaty? Especially this? Inner Haikal and Andika. 

" Of course remember, but it was your agreement with Rumi when she was alive. After all, you never know what my daughter looks like, so___" 

" I already know, even he's my son's girlfriend," interrupted Ms Asma when Bejo's father had not finished his words. 

"Daughter? " exclaimed Father Bejo and Andika simultaneously with the eyeballs that have been perfectly rounded. Seeing from the facial expressions they showed at this time, making Ms. Asma know that they were surprised. 

How not to be surprised. Because all this time they never knew that Mita had a boyfriend. Let alone a girlfriend, a man who just wanted to approach Mita would mostly immediately run away when he saw the face of Bejo's father. 

And to his surprise, Mita's boyfriend is the son of Asma, his late wife's best friend. Bejo stared at the man who came with Asthma.

" Are you really my daughter's boyfriend?" bejo asked with a drawn look.

Bejo's gaze was so sharp and frightening, making Haikal's body freeze. In fact, just swallowing saliva is difficult.
