Chapter 8's
In the morning Arik arrived at the Addison residence, as Gavin requested, he arrived early. At the dinner table Gavin and his parents had gathered together.
“ Morning boss, Big sir, Mistress.” greet Arik.
“ Arik Morning, here sit we breakfast first.” invite Mother to ask Arik to sit next to Gavin.
Arik really likes to be invited to eat together at one table, Madam and Master never distinguish his treatment even though he is only an aide.
Upon arrival at the office, Gavin begins to focus on his work. He wanted everything to be done quickly so that he could pick up Lea immediately. The meeting began after all the representatives of the division gathered, nothing escaped Gavin's eyes, everything he described in detail. Each division representative gave a report with the appropriate data, no one dared to cheat with his boss, just a little misstep then Gavin will continue to pursue it.
“ Zio, collect all the results of the meeting.Thank you for the cooperation, you have tried your best, now you can go back to work.”.
“ Good boss, thank you.” say they then one by one leave the meeting room.
“ What time can we meet Mr. Shawn.?”
“ After lunch boss, Mr. Shawn can we meet.”
Gavin nodded, he picked up his phone to contact Lea. Just one day not meeting has made him miss, today he will finish all his business so that he can directly pick up Lea.
Lea is neat with a black dress laced with spaghetti in a cardigan wrapped in peach color, her curly hair she stalls without makeup, Lea's face still looks beautiful. Yesterday Gavin said he would pick her up today so before the guy came, Lea accompanied Umi to buy kitchen necessities, she also wanted to buy souvenirs typical of her village for Gavin's parents. Riding by public transport, Lea and Umi set off for the market.
The atmosphere of the traditional market this morning was crowded with buyers, Umi bought several ingredients in kitchen cooking except vegetables and fruit because in the granary Umi is available. Lea bought special souvenirs and some snacks and pastries.
While descending in front of the archway, Lea saw Asep standing as if waiting for someone.
“ Who are you waiting for Sep.?” ask Lea.
“ Uh, teteh.. from the market huh..? here Asep bawain.” Asep took over the groceries from Lea's hands.
“ Aa Gavin said to pick up ya today.”
“ You know.?” Asep nodded.
Asep put one by one Umi groceries on the porch of the house, after all successfully transported from the front of the gate, Asep permission to go to the granary.
“ Your goods have been tidied up all neng..?”
“ Umi, Lea did not bring all because Gavin said later Lea buy aja in Jakarta later.”
“ Umi want to cook first let Gavin come later, he can directly eat.”
“ Yes Umi, Lea also want to tidy up souvenirs earlier so as not to miss.”
Before Gavin's lunch hour arrives at Lea's house, Umi invites Gavin to have lunch together while making the most of his time with Lea.
“ Umi, Gavin permission take Lea to Jakarta yes.”
“ Yes, Umi Lea.”
“ Umi, Lea part.. Lea promise will often look at Umi.”
“ Don't worry about Umi neng, Umi many guard here.”
Arik and Asep walk first followed by Gavin and Lea. Along the way to the car, Gavin does not let go of his grasp. In his grasp, Gavin can feel Lea's cold fingers.
“ Same father Mother has been waiting at home, I have talked to Mother last night.”
“ Ehh.. don't dong darling, time doesn't come, you're calm there is me.” persuade Gavin.
“ Asep, Lea titip Umi yes.told if there is anything.”
“ Ready to Drop.. Asep same aa Bian will take care of Umi as usual.”
The car driven by Arik drove away from Lea's hometown, an atmosphere that Lea will miss because it will not be found in Jakarta.
After a four-hour journey, they arrived at Addison's residence. Lea stared in amazement at the house that looked more like a mini kingdom.
“ Come on dear.. we have arrived.” Ask Gavin to extend his hand.
“ This is your home Vin.?”
“ Addison family home..our house will be shown later.”
Gavin took Lea inside into the living room. There's been waiting for Father and Mother Gavin.
“ Father, Mother.” call Gavin.
“ Hi baby.. This one is called Lea..?” ask Mommy. He looked at Lea who was bowed in shame.
“ Raise your face beautiful, know Mother Agatha, this is Father Greg.”
“ Azalea aunt, om.” says Lea kissed the back of her second hand.
“ Mommy can ask you.?” Lea nodded.
“ You know Gavin where.?”
“ In cafe. fitting Lea again work there.”
“ You love Gavin.?” Lea nodded.
“ Did you know the background of the Gavin family?”
“ Lea do not know aunt, Lea just know at this time.”
Mommy nodded, “ Gavin, Mommy wants to take Lea to Mother's office.”
“ Uh, don't Mother.” Ban Gavin.
“ Mother does not accept rejection. come on baby, follow Mother into.”.
Lea looked at Gavin and followed in the footsteps of Mother.
“ Bundaa.. Lea is not taken away.” shouted Gavin but Mother did not pay attention.
“ Ayahhh, that Lea want in apain.?”
Dad could only chuckle, his wife had her own way of getting to know the girl brought home by her son. Gavin hoped Lea could melt her Mother's heart.
