Nightfall.....
Rea walks out of the dorm alone with mixed feelings after the incident during the day makes everything change.
The confusion led Rea to walk alone without knowing where she was going. Even though the night in downtown Boston is still crowded with many people.
But Rea's mind wasn't on all of them, just one man, he was a soldier. Little heart Rea felt happy because she could meet her long lost siblings. But on the other side of the heart, he could not accept the fact that the feeling of love that he had been believing in, would only end up as a blood bond.
Until Rea's footsteps stopped when staring at a building with a twinkling signboard from a lamp that read 'After night'. A Club when he realized that his feelings for Soldiers were complicated.
Although initially Rea had no definite purpose, just looking for fresh air outside the dormitory, but the whisper of the devil was like inviting him to enter and Rea did not refuse it.
The first time Rea came to this place was consciously without coercion from anyone, because as usual, she would refuse to come to a Club for fun.
The disco lights are on, circling around following the sound of music flowing up and down, pounding for the sake of a bang and everyone is like a trance of freestyle dancing together.
Whether it's a man or a woman, looking to enjoy the crowded atmosphere, minimalist clothes, open and also lack of materials do not make them care about shame when the eyes look lustful men.
But Rea had no intention of dancing, she was just trying to find another routine outside the dorm that might change her mood.
Rea took a chair in front of the bar, the middle-aged man in a butterfly tie who became a bartender, approaching while carrying a bottle of liquor in hand.
"Young lady, what do you want to order." Ask the bartender.
"I don't know, I didn't come here for any message." Answer Rea.
The bartender who had seen various people all his life, seemed to be able to know the complexity of Rea's heart just by reading the look of the face.
Without needing to ask anything, the bartender began concocting drinks that might change the mood of Rea.
"Apricot in the Act, please try." Put one drink in front of Rea.
"But I..." Rea tried to refuse.
"Try miss, I've seen a lot of customers come in with faces full of confusion, and I can guess if you're in a breakup."
Looking at the orange drink with a brownish red color on it, it looks beautiful and also interesting, Rea also tried to feel it.
The taste of cinnamon syrup and also cocoa cream, although there is alcohol content but it is not much, but it makes Rea feel a little calm
Rea smiled a little... "What I'm going through isn't a breakup."
"Oh sorry then, maybe because I'm a little old, I'm becoming less sensitive to beautiful girls like you."
"It's okay, I just feel confused by the many surprises in my life that come suddenly."
"We never know what life is like, sometimes we have to be ready, without being able to refuse or bargain to accept whatever happens, but remember miss is not the only one."
"Yes, it might be true." Smiling Rea while trying one more cocktail named Apricot in the Act.
Not long before Rea sat down, a familiar face took one seat next to Rea, who would have thought, not even Rea expected it, either, if now the figure of Fio Aquilani is staring at Rea with an unpleasant smile.
It's been almost two Weeks Fio is said to be missing, but no one cares, as most of his college friends know Fio wants a free life.
Only, Rea still did not like the existence of this one woman.
"Are you now in Rea's rebellion." His words insinuated Rea directly.
"Nobody forbid me to come here."
"No way, you're not the one who consciously wants to enjoy life in a place like this. So what's your problem?, what's the Soldier." Fio asked with a strange look.
"I don't want to tell you anything. You should even be worried about yourself, you've been missing for more than a week from college, do you want to be taken out."
"Alright, that's what you want, so what are you doing now."
"Hmmm I work." Answer Fio.
"Work?, did you know that if your passport was revoked because it was declared out by the campus, you could consider it an illegal immigrant." Reply Rea.
The smile on Fio's face was visible if everything would be fine...."You don't have to worry about Rea, I have a lot of friends who can help me."
Just a small conversation between Rea and the person he knew to be forced to consider him a friend. After that, Fio went somewhere with a foreign man.
Forget about Fio who has chosen his own way of life. Rea again enjoyed Apricot in the Act until it ran out and asked Refill to the bartender.
He who has never tasted an alcoholic drink, certainly considers everything will be fine, until the feeling of dizziness makes his mind drift.
But Rea had not had time to put a glass on her lips again, a hand came to stop Rea from drinking the cocktail.
"Ah... Ryan, you're here." Rea smiled to himself.
It was obviously very strange, as Rea hardly ever smiled when she saw Ryan was nearby.
Directly Ryan showed anger towards the Bartender, as Rea was now more like a drunken daze.
"What did you give my Miss." Ryan was upset.
The bartender's face was confused, as Ryan's speech clearly used language he didn't know.
"I'm sorry sir, I don't know what you're talking about."
(Sorry sir I don't know what you're saying.)
Ryan was also confused to understand the words of the bartender, only the words 'I don't know' had shown that he did not know.
Immediately from behind the suit Ryan pulled out a huge dictionary of 100 billion Indonesian English translations.
Stringing up a few words from the dictionary, Ryan tried to speak...
"You, you.you mi. mixed alcohol in this drink."
(You have mixed alcohol in this drink.)
"yes it is like that."
(Yes it is like that.)
Ryan's head shook his head indistinctly, the bartender was bewildered for a human who came to the Night Club and was angered by the alcoholic drink.
When Ryan wanted to take Rea out, the bartender called back.
"Mister, This lady has not paid for her order yet."
(This woman has not paid for her order.)
"What ?."
"Hmmm money, money." Speak with signal.
For that word Ryan understands... Without hesitation and care about the price, Ryan took out the hundred dollars he put on the table.
Not to forget, Ryan took the purchase receipt, because it became a guarantee that the money was returned after Rea realized later.
