"Hello?" Monica said after the phone was brought to her ear.

"Hello, it's me, Dr. Intan," said a woman from across the phone directly making Monica who had fallen asleep limp now wake up and sit on the bed while frowning.

"This, is this really Dr Intan from the capital's xx central hospital?" Asked Monika who was still in a state of confusion with the woman across the phone.

Although the voice owned by the woman was indeed very similar to the voice of doctor Intan, but it was still not terbesit in his mind that the woman would call him and speak properly.

"Hm yeah, of course, from tomorrow you'll be one of my assistants, and tomorrow at 08:00 I have one operation!" The woman's speech from across the phone actually left Monica dumbfounded in her place for not expecting that she would get such a notification.

"Just when Dr. Intan who was angry with me called me and he said I was one of his assistants so that tomorrow I would enter the operating room?" Said Monica who did not believe that she was allowed into the operating room to be a female assistant when just this afternoon they were in a row in the woman's room.

Monika's phone placed on the table when she and her parrot were eating again rang, so the woman quickly took her phone and saw that her stepbrother's number was the one who called her.

So Monika just turned off the ringtone of her phone then put her phone on the table and continued eating.

But after that, the phone call just kept coming in until Monica was really upset and there was no other choice but to block the contact.

What Monica did instantly made the person across the phone become so angry that she gritted her teeth looking at her father and mother sitting in front of her.

"He's blocked my number!!" Said Dira who felt so disgusted by her half-sister, that the woman dared to block her number, even though the woman had been dependent on them all along.

What an ungrateful woman!!!
