"Mommy just came home the day after ..," Jonas said in a soft voice as his wife asked to meet her mother-in-law.

Quenby nodded. Then he looked at Jonas's face. He looked carefully at the line of the beautiful face of the man in front of him. It was this man who had freed Quenby from the toxic snare of his stepfamily. This man also promised not to play tricks on their marriage relationship.

"Give me time, it's not easy to make things look natural, I don't want to hurt her."

But as she recalled the voice recording Endrew had played with her, Qeunby became unsure of the promise her husband made to her.

Jonas looked at the figure of a woman wearing a work suit with neck-length hair who was now sitting in her study. She's Briana, the woman who's been messing up lately.

"Does your arrival have anything to do with the Wijaya Group?" jonas asked with a cold look.

The woman named Briana stood up, then walked up to Jonas with a charming smile. Jonas used to be captivated by that smile. But now the smile that Briana displayed only made Jonas sick.

"Why are you so cold now, Jo? You used to always warmly welcome me when I was waiting for you to finish class," Briana said, reminding them while still a student. The woman was now standing right behind the chair that Jonas was sitting in.

Jonas glanced in dislike with the movement of Briana's hand that was stroking his shoulder. "Be professional, Briana. We're in my office" said Jonas.

Briana laughing. Then he walked past Jonas and sat right in front of the man's oversized table. "So ... If it's outside the office, we can do anything?" briana asked with sarcasm and a mocking smile.

From yesterday, Jonas was infuriated by the attitude of the woman in front of him. Briana really showed her true nature. But Jonas had to endure his dislike of the snake woman in front of him now. He must act recklessly.

Upon the arrival of Sara's mother - the woman Jonas hired to look after her, Quenby asks for help in finding a Doctor who has nothing to do with or does not even know the genealogy of the Sagala extended family.

Before Sara could reconcile her acquaintance, Qeunby had engineered her sentence to trick Sara into asking her to be introduced to an obstetrician who did not know the Sagala family tree.

Quenby said she would surprise her husband and extended family if she became pregnant. And Sara just believed.

Finally Qeunby's vehicle reached a Hospital that Sara told her about. Then the two women walked into the Hospital which was not too crowded that afternoon.

Sara immediately took Quenby to the doctor's room that the woman was referring to. Looks like Sara already contacted her acquaintance first.

Entering the white room inside, Qeunby immediately smelled the scent of medicine. And this was her first time visiting the Obstetrician's room.

Seen a variety of poster frames attached to the wall. There are pictures of pregnant women of different ages shown. There are also images of the shape of the fetus from 0 to 9 months of age. Quenby was happy to see it.

"Sorry, Aunt Sara, I had a brief call to the Patient's room,"

Quenby smiled, then extended his hand towards the doctor named Ryan.

"Queny?"

As soon as Qeunby's hand froze, the woman's gaze was no less surprised when she found the figure of the man who called her 'Queny'.

There was only one of the many men who called him that name. He is Ryan Surya Pratama, a man who was once rejected outright by his stepmother because he was considered a poor doctor.

Obviously Qeunby knows. Ryan is a guy who is really serious about being with him. From the first time they decided to date, Ryan had introduced Quenby to the entire family of the man, including his mother.

What Qeunby hoped for now was: hopefully, Ryan's mother doesn't hate Qeunby for her son's proposal, which has been rejected outright by her stepmother.
