24. Disillusioned

Taxi stopped right in front of the contract, Alina just paid and then went down. With his puffy eyes and shaky steps he headed towards his contract. But suddenly the sound of the car stopped and someone called out to him.

"Wait....." Pinta someone's.

Alina immediately stopped her steps and turned her body.

"You ready?" Ask Alina slowly.

"I'll explain later, now get in my car, I'm sure Arkan will be here soon." Said a woman who was none other than Laura.

Alina was silent.

"Have I known how you feel right now, don't you hate Arkan now?" Ask Laura.

Alina did not answer, she just shed tears.

"Let's get in my car!" Bring Laura.

Alina nodded with the meaning of agreeing to Laura's invitation.

After both of them were in the car, Laura just drove her vehicle.

And sure enough, not long ago the departure of Alina and Laura, a taxi was seen stopping right in front of Alina's contract. Who else if not Arkan.

Arkan rushed down and he immediately set foot on the rented terrace.

The man repeatedly knocked and called out Alina's name, but there was absolutely no answer from within. It also looks like Alina's rented atmosphere is so quiet and dark.

Moments later, Laura and Alina arrive at an apartment. Alina was wondering why Laura had brought her here.

"You must be confused who I am? well then, I'll introduce myself. I'm Laura, Arkan's friend. Me and Arkan have been friends for a long time." Obviously Laura smiled.

"Really," said Alina. The look on Alina's face was still so sad as to make Laura have to be pityed.

"Alina, I just want to help you. Your feelings are so broken right now, aren't they? I know Alina...." Laura said as she grabbed Alina's hand and stroked her. The woman tried to calm Alina who was not okay.

"May I rest first?" Alina asked with teary eyes.

"Of course Alina, rest in the room. Take it easy, it's safe here. Because Arkan doesn't know where I live." Laura Reveal.

Alina finally woke up from her seat by being ushered by Laura to the room.

"I'll rest!" Alina said with a sad face.

"Well, have a good rest!" Laura said while nodding.

Instead of resting, Alina instead cried as hard as she remembered what had just happened. Even that cry could be heard by Laura who was outside the room.

While Arkan, until late at night he still stood waiting, hoping Alina would open her door.

But still the woman he was looking for did not show up either.

Until the next day, Arkan apparently had fallen asleep on the terrace rented Alina. He woke up not when the glint of sunlight was shining on his face.

"Ah...apparently I fell asleep here....." Speak Arkan with blurred vision.

"Abina ......Alina......" Arkan got up and knocked back on the door. But still, there was no answer from within.

And in the end Arkan decided to leave with his shaky steps.

"Have you slept here all night?" Tegur Laura who suddenly appeared.

Arkan listlessly raised his face. "What are you doing here?" Ask Arkan not excited.

"You don't have a car, come with me. I'll take you home!" Laura said.

Arkan shakes. "No need!"

"Why? never mind, don't refuse!"

Arkan was finally brought home by Laura.

Along the way, Arkan just silently threw his face towards the window.

"Don't you know?" Laura asked, opening her voice.

Arkan was silent, not understanding what Laura was saying.

"God....."

"What else, lau? I don't want to talk right now!" Arkan breathed a rough breath.

"Are you not worried about your father? Your father is in the hospital." Laura said.

This made Arkan surprised.

"Huh, what!"

"That's all because of you Arkan, when you went after Alina when your father fell unconscious and was immediately rushed to the hospital!" Clearly Laura, her gaze was still focused on the steering wheel.

"DW......!" Arkan again ruffled his hair roughly.

"Hurry up, get me to the hospital right now!" Pinta Arkan was so panicked.

Laura then drove the speed of her car, splitting the city streets that were not too crowded by vehicles.

And it didn't take long, they had finally arrived at the hospital.

Arkan just got out of the car and rushed to the room where his father was taken care of.

"Dad...dad ......" Call Arkan half possessed.

Inside the room was his mother, Alice and Dirga who were guarding. They were so shocked to see the arrival of Arkan roaring.

"Dad what happened?" Arkan's cry broke when he saw his father lying weakly on the hospital bed.

Siska, who had been furious from last night, just got closer to Arkan.

Without further ado, the woman with teary eyes just threw a slap into her son's face.

Alice, Dirga and Laura who saw Siska slap Arkan instantly were shocked.

Arkan looked at his mother, not believing that her mother would slap her.

"Mother......." Arkan cried his eyes also glazed.

"Yes, ma'am, what's wrong?" Tanya Dirga approached.

"Now I don't want to see him, get him out of here!" Tell Siska without looking at Arkan.

"Master please get out of here!" Said Dirga holding Arkan's shoulder.

"No, I want to know how my father is!" Arkan.

"Let my master please leave, before Madame Siska gets angry at me!" Please Dirga.

Alice who saw her husband like that could only be quietly bowed without a word.

And finally Arkan inevitably had to leave his father's room.

"Tante, Alice then I'll go first!" Said Laura.

"All right!" Alice Sahut.

"I'm sorry sir, but this is for the good of the mistress as well. Mother master seems to be really disappointed in master!" Reveal Dirga on the outside.

Arkan just kept quiet with his pushy gaze. It felt like he wanted to cry but there was no way that he was that weak in front of people.

"Mother.....Alice come out for a second!" Alice's real words were about to catch up with Arkan.

Alice then stepped out of the room. When outside, he only saw Dirga did not see Arkan.

"Dirga, where's Arkan?" Alice asked as she looked to the left right of the corridor.

"Sorry madam, Mr. Arkan just left!" Answer Dirga.

Alice took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "Hem...."

"So where should I take you?" Laura asked Arkan.

"I don't want to go home for now!" Answer Arkan.

"Want to?"

"Let me go to Raka's apartment." Arkan Pinta.

Laura took a long breath. " Okay then!"

Thirty minutes later, Arkan and Laura have arrived at Raka's apartment.

"Then thank you, for driving me!" Said Arkan when he got out of the car.

After speaking like that, the man immediately passed by.

Inside the car Laura smiled cynically. "Arkan....Arkan..pity you, just because such a woman you ruined your own life!" Laura said.

"Son, you go home first!" Decree Siska.

"Mother, I'll accompany you and dad here." Said Alice.

"Mom's sorry, it's Alice."

"You don't have to regret Alice, it should be the mother who apologized to you for Arkan's behavior." Siska.

"It's mom, it's okay. Maybe it's Alice's fault that Arkan can be that way." Said Alice.

"Then Alice comes home first, ma'am!" The woman then just passed by.

With Dirga delivered, Alice returned home.

Along the way Dirga continued to pay attention to Alice who was moody since earlier.

"Mrs, is madam okay?" Dirga asked opening her voice in the silence.

"It's okay Dirga, I'm fine!" Alice said as she wiped the tears that accidentally came down her cheeks.

"It's fine but why is the madam crying?" Ask Dirga further.

"Okay, I'm confused myself! why am I crying! yep....." Alice faked her smile.

Shortly after, they arrived home.

Alice went down and stepped inside.

The atmosphere of the house looks so quiet and quiet.

"Where is he?" Alice turned her eyes in all directions.

The woman then climbed the stairs, wanting to head to the room. Seeing whether there's Arkan or not.

But when turning the door knob and into the room, Alice did not find Arkan in it at all.

"none? where's she?" Alice wondered to herself.

Alice then went back downstairs, intending to ask Arkan the maid.

"Is Arkan home?" Alice asked one of the servants.

Alice decides to go to Arkan's office. He thinks Arkan must be in his office.

But just like before, in the office he did not find Arkan. One of the employees said that Arkan did not go to the office today.

"Sadly..actually where he went!" Alice took a rough breath and then she remembered Alina's contract.

"Ah or maybe he's in Alina's contract?" Ask Alice to yourself.

Alice decides to go to Alina's contract.

Moments later, he had arrived in front of Alina's contract. Alice stared at the contract which looked so quiet as if there were no signs of life. The woman stepped closer, then knocked on the door.

Alice knocked repeatedly on the door but still there was no answer from within. Alice paused and finally decided to leave.
