Chapter 16 Sickness

The bright morning, could not represent Thalia's current feelings. His heart suddenly hesitated every time he remembered Sandi. Moreover, today the young man did not leave for the cafe. when Thalia tried to contact her phone was not connected.

"Where's the slipper? Wouldn't anyone come today for a cafe survey?" muttered Thalia while checking the cafe's finances.

Slowly, Thalia heads to her best friend's unlocked room. His heartbeat is getting faster pumping blood flow. Again, he looked for a socket to turn on the room lights. He saw Sandi who was lying weakly on the bed with a thick blanket wrapped all over her body.

"Sandal, are you okay?" thalia panicked with her best friend's forehead. "Sandals you have a fever."

There was no answer from the young man. His eyes were still closed with a shivering body. Thalia immediately searched the medicine box and took a thermometer to measure her best friend's body temperature. He opened Sandi's mouth slightly, then he put the thermometer into his best friend's mouth.

"God! Thirty-nine point five degrees. Very hot. I need to call the doctor right away" Thalia murmured.

Thalia immediately called the doctor Sandi used to call if she was sick. After, finishing the call, the girl immediately went to the kitchen to pick up a small basin and compress Sandi.

"Sandal, why do you have to be sick? I'm sorry if my decision hurt you. Maybe it's God's destiny" Thalia said.

Not long after, the bell rang. Thalia opened the door immediately. Doctor Louis stood with the bag of his doctor.

"Please come in, Doc!" get Thalia.

Doctor Louis simply smiled as he nodded his head slightly. He went straight to Sandi's room. Holding his forehead the successful Sandi made his forehead become wrinkled.

"It's hot! How long has he had a fever?" ask Dr. Louis.

"I definitely don't know, Doc. You were fine yesterday" Thalia explained.

"Is there anything that makes him feel bad?" ask Dr. Louis again.

"If it were, if it were ...." Thalia could not continue her words. He was embarrassed to say yesterday they had a great argument.

Is it possible that Sandi was devastated by the news of my engagement, Inner Thalia.

"Have you guys fought?" guess Doctor Louis while checking Sandi's condition.

"Yesterday, we were arguing" Thalia said.

Thalia picked up the backpack and filled it with Sandi's clothes. He was so hasty that he accidentally dropped a black diary book. Thalia kept the book back on the sidelines of Sandi's clothes. After everything was done, he went back to Doctor Louis who was sitting beside Sandi's bed. The doctor was seen giving the drops to his best friend's mouth.

"The book's ready, Doc!" thalia.

"We'll wait a minute, they just got to the bottom. Thalia, do you have a special relationship?" ask Dr. Louis.

"We're friends, Doc."

"Please take care of him! He's a strong boy, but when his heart is hurt by his loved ones, his body weakens." Doctor Louis breathed deeply. He was concerned about the fate of his best friend's son. Because he knows best how much Sandi suffered as a result of the divorce.

Not long after two nurses came with a brangkar complete with the infusion device. After the two male nurses moved Sandi to the top of the cage, Doctor Louis immediately put an infusion on Sandi's left hand. Thalia only noticed the three adult men taking care of Sandi. Until finally they were ready to take Sandi to the hospital.

"Drink!" tell Thalia to help Sandi to tend to the headboard of the bed.
