CHAPTER 30 (GABY DEBBARA SUNJAYA)

A middle-aged woman was sitting in a chair on the floor, looking as if she was looking at a photograph.

"What are you doing?" Ask Ardiaz, when he came home after working all day.

"I'm looking at a picture of our children" Gaby replied with a smile.

Ardiaz sat in the chair beside Gaby, looking at his frail wife. As for him, his youth was gone. Now his face was filled with wrinkles which were very annoying to him. The wrinkles no longer show their handsome faces.

"It has not been 14 years" murmured Ardiaz.

Gaby turned her head, raising her eyebrows asking for Ardiaz's explanation.

"We lost Senna" continued Ardiaz who understood Gaby's confusion.

Gaby took a deep breath while leaning her back.

"You're right, what's Senna's face like now? If she were alive, she would be so beautiful!" Gaby said with a small smile.

"If you'd known that our daughter was alive. You won't feel sad like this." Ardiaz muttered in his heart.

"What's wrong? Why are you silent?" Gaby asked who saw Ardiaz daydreaming.

Ardiaz smiled, "I'm just remembering Senna's childhood" replied Ardiaz.

"Ah yes, she used to be adorable. I remember he loved cameras so much, he was good at taking pictures." Sahut Gaby happy.

"I also remember when he showed me the photo of Angga peeling. It was so funny that I didn't stop laughing" Gaby recalled her memories with Senna.

Ardiaz smiled at his wife's story, Ardiaz grabbed Gaby's arm and clasped her tightly.

"I love you!" Ardiaz.

"Ck! You're old, you don't deserve to make out this way!" Gaby said with a small laugh.

"Well, that doesn't matter, as long as you don't mind." Ardiaz replied, putting Gaby's arm on her cheek.

Gaby smiled, her hand grabbed Ardiaz's hair then stroked her gently.

"I don't mind at all, thank you for accompanying my life all this time!" Gaby said sincerely.

"Once I am, I'm so grateful that you've made my life colorful!" Reply Ardiaz.

Gaby smiled, she looked back at the photo of Senna and Angga.

"Oh yes, today is the day commemorating Senna's death." Gaby.

"How about we go to the funeral? I want to see Senna, "he continued.

Ardiaz smiled wryly, how could his wife consider Senna to have died so easily. Though he himself is convinced that Senna is still alive for a long time.

Ardiaz nodded, "Alright, let's go!" The answer.

Gaby looked so happy, she walked into her house to get ready. Later, Ardiaz drove his car to the cemetery where Senna was buried.

"I miss Angga so much, how is it in Indonesia?" Gaby asked in the middle of the trip.

"Last I know, she's fine. Well. maybe he's very busy, so don't tell." Ardiaz replied with a street-focused outlook.

Gaby nodded in understanding, "When do we go see him?" Her request.

"Well, next time we go to Indonesia!" Reply Ardiaz.

Shortly after the trip, Ardiaz and Gaby arrive at a public funeral. Gaby carries a bouquet of flowers and a basket of petals, Gaby walks towards the buried Senna. Gaby knelt beside Senna's grave and sprinkled flowers on it. Gaby also placed a bouquet of flowers on Senna's grave.

"Senna baby, how are you? I'm sorry I just visited you this time." Gaby.

"Senna, you're fine there, don't forget about mom" he continued, wiping Senna's headstone.

Ardiaz stood beside Gaby, staring at Gaby. He couldn't bear to keep lying to Gaby, but he had no choice. He must keep hiding the truth before Fira remembers his past.

"Honey.. Let's go home, let Senna calm down over there!" Ardiaz.

Gaby took a deep breath, then she stood up followed by Ardiaz.

"Alright, I'm done here too." Gaby looked down at Senna's grave.

Arriving home...

"Iyaz, I want to contact Angga. My phone is broken" Gaby said.

"Since when? Why didn't you tell me?" Asked Ardiaz while reaching into his suit pocket, Ardiaz gave his phone to Gaby.

"Yesterday night, you were too busy so I forgot to tell you!" Answer Gaby.

*"What's up?"* asked Angga across the phone.

"Female, this is my dear mother." Gaby.

*"Mother? What was? Is mom sick?"* asked Angga looking worried.

"No dear, I miss you. How are you?" Sahut Gaby's.

*"My good news is ma'am, what about mom?"* Angga replied.

"Mother is also kind, dear, I really want to see you. When are you coming home?"

*"Mommy, I'm so busy here that I can't go home. Maybe next time, ma'am"* Angga replied.

"You're just like your father, always thinking about work!" Grumpy Gaby.

*"Mother, don't equate me with dad. I'm different!"* Angga replied upset.

"This boy, why do you hate your father so much?" Ask Gaby.

*"I don't hate him, who says I hate him?"* Angga replied.

"Have you, by the way, have you got a woman you like dear?" Ask Gaby.

"really? I can't wait to see it!" Gaby said happily.

"Darling are you done?" Ask Ardiaz who just finished taking a shower.

Ardiaz shook his head then walked towards the sofa then sat down on it.

*"Mother, you take care of your health, don't think about a lot of things. Remember my message don't argue, watch the food too!"* Angga's message firmly.

"Yes, okay. I will always take care of my health, as will you. You also have to keep your health, don't get sick!" Answer Gaby.

Gaby and Angga continued to chat until night, Ardiaz listened to the conversation quietly without interrupting. He knows that Gaby misses Angga, especially since Gaby is always alone with no friends. Ardiaz smiled, "I'm happy if you're happy, it's night now let's go to sleep!" Ardiaz.
